    I can see water leaking from this. I could probably do myself but looks like a pain just to replace the seal as ours is integrated.

    If you have an Error E 15 (dishwasher pump) shown on your Bosch or Siemens Dishwasher, you don´t have to disassemble your dishwasher and replace the main gasket. The Problem will still exist.
    There is an repair kit from Bosch/Siemens to fix the problem in 5 minutes. Here is the video:

      Thanks very much Peter. I can see leakage from that area by looking thru the sides. Tried just tightening the screws but cannot force too much, being a plastic part below - leaks continued. For everybody: it is Bosch repair kit # 12005744 and can be found in many places online. www.bosch-home.com/us/store/accessories/12005744

      Hi Peter, thanks for the note on this. I watched the German video and am almost certain that my machine will need this fix. In my case the screws themselves became quite loose and I was able to easily tighten them between a half and one and half turns on each screw with the loosest screws being where the leak was most pronounced.
      I visited the link in the response below by @Darrylx444 and noticed that parts are no longer offered by Bosch in either the USA or Canada and are quite varied in price, between ~$10 and $50 CDN , April 2024. I was wondering if do go ahead and buy the kit referenced can cite you as a reference in my video? I have had another leak from the clean Inlet and have posted that on my UA-cam page and so was thinking about continuing down the road.

      @@Darrylx444 Did turning the screws a bit tighter work. I found that mine were quite loose after 10years of use and the gasket appears to be holding back the water for now.

      @@kevinmorgan4234 Not at all in our case as I recall, they were already as tight as I dared. The OEM gasket joint was just designed poorly, so it wouldn't seal regardless. But the repair kit worked perfectly, and was pretty easy to install as long as you are careful with the very thin and floppy o-ring and don't let it get snagged or cut by the sharp metal lip. Never even had to remove the OEM seal IIRC, as the new ring just protects everything below. 20 minutes and done.
      But eventually that Bosch died from a different cause, so we're onto a new brand now. Good luck.

      @@Darrylx444 Thanks for the response it helped me triage the repair and saved me some money sourcing from Europe versus buying from a national supplier.

    Great video but what problem is it solving ? A leak that fills the catch base?

    If water is slowly collecting in the bottom most tray, eventually triggering the float switch, but then water does not drain from the spill tray once the float switch activates, is it likely that it is this sump gasket draining AND that there is a problem with the pump? Or is the pump not designed to extract water from the spill tray at all?

    • @ko6128
      @ko6128 5 років тому

      David Caldarelli David did you figure this out? Mine fills the overflow tray too. I don’t think the pump is designed to remove water from that tray, I think the tray is there with the float shutoff valve to tell you have a leak.

      @@ko6128 yes, thanks! After several days of testing and reverse engineering, I figured out that any water down there is an error, and must be dried by hand. Also the float probably only runs the (higher up) pump for inside the tub in order to drain anything from inside that could theoretically leak further, AND to notify the user something is wrong, NOT to drain the bottom tray! I figured out my solenoid valve had a very slow leak, replaced it for $50, and it's been good for over a month so far.

      David Caldarelli I think you explained it correctly. I replaced the main valve with new $22 one from Amazon and it now works perfect. No water in catch basin. The failed pump fell apart when I removed it and amazon shows the same exact problem that others have had. So it must have been leaking at the valve, then filling the tray to point of over flow. Thanks for the reply.

      @@DavidCaldarelli Hi, the solenoid valve you are taking about.... is it the water inlet valve? partselectca.azureedge.net/8726680-1-M-Bosch-00607335-Water-Inlet-Valve.jpg
