Hi Brittany, I really feel you don't need to apologise for garments no longer being available ... i think it shows they're items which are well loved and used and a refreshing message from anyone else promoting throwaway fast fashion ♡ I've only been following you since last autumn but it's been the best YT discovery of 2020! Thanks for all the inspiration x

Regarding the “big light“ you referred to as a very British term ... we in Germany also call it like that (das „große Licht“) 😊

Czech has this expression as well, though I don't have the expertise to tell whether we haven't just taken it over it from German 🤔🙂

any chance we could get a top list of youtube channels that you find inspiring? in a similar vein to yours? also are you happy with your Hay sofa? i love that brand and have had that sofa in mind for some time so just wondering how you feel about it having lived with it for a bit. would love to know your homeware buying process. great vid, thanks.

Anybody else have any suggestions? Accounts like Britney and Lizzy Hadfield? And any mens fashion accounts that are of similar vibe? I Find most menswear account are streetwear based or crazy Americans that scream gentlemen at me and telling me to be dapper a phrase that makes my blood run cold haha. Any contemporary Homeware accounts? Thanks in advance!

    running questions:
-what made you want to start running?
-best running tip? (get a running buddy? invest in good trainers? don't overdo it?)
-do you think anyone can run? or would you say genetics play into it?
-changes you've noticed since running [consistently]?
-best exercise to do alongside? (yoga? pilates? strength training?)
-shin splint! your experience and best treatment!
-do you have any running ambitions? (ironman? marathon?)
    -running with weak bones? :s

This vlog proves that effortlessly minimalist elegance can come in many forms, from the all-black walking outfit (The Row knit! Goldsign jeans - perfect length! Legres boots!) to your genius color-blocking (the Studio Nicholson blue knit with grey pants and the Kassl coats - especially that camel one). Thank you for allowing us to get a glimpse of your style and the thought process behind it each week!

hi! this is the first time I've ever commented a youtube video with a request, I'd LOVE to see how you store and organise your clothes / basics / layering pieces, when you mentioned heattech I found myself wondering in what section of the wardrobe you keep them in. never a question I thought I'd ask but these are the times we are living in. You have so many beautiful pieces that look so well kept that it'd be great to see how you keep them organised. Thanks!

I really enjoy when you bring up running in your vlogs. I really like that you include it as part of your day when you run - it’s actually inspiring to show the natural way it’s part of your life. Honestly, I think it was one of the things about your videos that really got me more interested following you. I like that it seems to be a spiritual journey and not 100% fitness driven.

I'm one of those people who asked about running. I'm also not interested in too complicated talk. I'm not a runner, but would like to be. I am in the middle of a separation after a long relationship and suddenly find myself alone in a pandemic. I get so inspired by hearing people like yourself who wake up to a non-inspiring day and feel that you can turn it around by running (ofc i understand that it is not always possible). I would like to have the benefits of running. I have never trained regularly and therefore have poor condition.
How did you get into running when you started? tips for us who struggle in the beginning? can you name some benifits that you personally get out of running?

Outfits and books - my two favorite things 😍 quick note on the blue jumper which looks great on you btw not sure if anyone has already said this but I think the reason why it works so well with the camel coloured coat is because it’s a very similar hue to orange which is directly complementary to blue on the color wheel and provides a really good contrast 😊 so actually a good tip for when you want to try wearing a certain color but you’re not sure how to pair it with anything other than achromatic or neutral colors is to find its direct complementary color and play around with the different tones and shades of that color 👌🏼 anyway, great vlog as always Brittany!

Hey Brittany, it would be great if you could talk a bit about your gait analysis in the context of running in your next video. I have problems with my ankles whenever I run, which is a shame because I’d really like to get into running. Your mention of gait analysis just made me think whether that’s something I should look into..would be great to hear more about where you did it, if it made a difference to your experience of running etc. Thank you :) love your vlogs - oh and severance has been on my book shelf for a while, after you raving about it I might finally give it a read! Ahhhh, super excited for the running talk! I have a few questions: 1) You had mentioned in previous vlogs that your pace is always under 6' for the whole run so my question is, have you always been this fast since you first started running? Or was it something you achieved quite gradually? 2) Trail or road? 3) Early morning runs - any advice on how to find the energy for one on an empty stomach? Even if I eat, I always feel drained for the rest of the day after mine... 4) Any good running playlists on Spotify? Many thanks for the great vlogs as always ♡

Hey Brittany! I would love to hear more about your running - one of my goals this year is to get into running, but I'm finding it SO hard to get properly into it :( do you have any tips for beginners? Sometimes I get a bit of calf/shin pain too which puts me off, but apparently that can be normal too for people completely new to running! I joined a running club which really helped and managed to run a 5k, but now that has had to stop, I've struggled to go on my own! I believe you have said you worked a visual merchandiser before, so you might have some tricks? I also would love to hear you talk about your art book collection at some point. I‘m at work all day and I just hate running when it‘s dark. At what time of day do you usually run? Do you ever run later in the evening or in the early morning? Running questions: Do you keep a log/register of the distances you run? Do you prefer listening to music or to a podcast while you run? Personally I find that music is quite tricky because it affect my speed in a negative way. I much prefer to occupy my mind on interesting topics from my fav podcasts. Anyways, thank you for the amazing content! I really enjoy it. Warm hug from Uruguay.

In regards to running; What is your experience with injuries and/or overloading? Has it been an issue for you? How do you prevent it? And what do you find helps when injured in regards to your mental health?

Brittany, just want to say how much adore your vlogs and also book recommendations, thank you for creating these videos. I too used to run in those new balances a couple of years ago but they were so heavy by comparison to other trainers - once you've worn out your Asics highly recommend trying Hoka trainers, the lightest most cloud-like trainers I've tried! Made a huge difference to my form and running generally. x

I'm a runner, too. Just got new (odd looking) shoes from Hoka One One today that I'm excited to try out. I'm surprised you've struggled so hard to find a new running jacket! Brooks, Saucony and Lululemon have always been reliable for me. I've run several races in the same Saucony jacket and tights, and they're still holding up after more than five years. *Running question* : Have you done any races and/or are you planning to after the pandemic has passed? I do it for the social aspects only. Races are such supportive, fun spaces. It's the only thing I've done where complete strangers clap for me and cheer me on. 😉

I love your book reviews. I have discovered multiple books through your channel. Many of which I can not recommend enough to friends. Thank you.

I read Severance in February/March 2020 just as everything was starting up (not intentionally linked, it was just a coincidence) and it was definitely eerie!

Just discovered you in the last few weeks and can't stop binge watching all your videos!! Can you recommend your book reading light? Where is it from? 🙏

Hi! I am so excited for you to speak about running. Do you have advise for people who struggle to remain motivated? Also outfit ideas for running in colder weather? I love watching all of your vlogs and can't wait for next week's!

I think I have a similar hair texture to you and I recently figured out a great way to style it! Inspired by the curly girl method, though not full curly girl method, I apply gel (yes, gel) to my wait when it's SOAKING wet, then curl mouse, then I plop it and let it dry for as long as possible. Then take it out and don't touch it until it air dries or dry with a diffuser. Leaves me with ideal, beachy texture but still shiny and not frizzy!

I keep hearing about the plop method! Right, I'm going to do some research and give it a try. Thank you for this. x
