Going to repeat until you do it but I'd looooooove a wardrobe and organisation tour, everything is so beautifully taken care of, would be great to see how you organise to keep everything so lovely
Superga's are by far the shoe I've been repurchasing the most in my entire life. Been through almost 5 pairs. Usually get them at the beginning of spring and by fall they're so worn in, but I love it!
I find these videos so incredibly helpful, seeing them styled really helps a lot - thank you for always giving us such high quality content, might do a cheeky purchase now since I don't have any light trainers but been recently loving them whenever I see you wearing them ❤️ By the way, could you let me know what font you used in the cutaways? I'm a design student and love expanding my font catalogue haha x
Thank you for such a thoughtful and honest run down! I’d love to know more about what you look for in silhouettes and how you select outfit pairings to create different lines. It struck me that the way you speak about clothing reminds me of an architect talking about a building. Thanks for sharing!
I just bought a pair of all beige (not just the canvas part but the eyelets, sole and laces too) Superga 2750's specifically to wear with white jeans. With other pants too, but my main reason was that I wanted a beige pair of shoes for my white jeans. I feel like a fashion icon now after hearing you say you like to wear your off-white/beige pair with white jeans! Lol! Nothing groundbreaking here but apparently I make some decent fashion choices, because I too recognized something about the white shoes with white jeans didn't feel perfect.
White sneakers fan here, too! Love my supergas but yes, the white pair is really white and tricky to style while brand new. Also, love the Nike Air Force and a summer edition of the Nike Air max that were really light and comfy, loved them styled with dark blue trousers. Last one 🤣, bought a pair of high top black Converse years ago, thinking of the cool outfits but never managed to make them work like my white pair (plus, they do run slightly large, like half a size). Loved the video🤍
This couldn't be more perfectly timed! Looking for a new pair of trainers as it's clear it'll be lockdown walks for the foreseeable. My Muji trainers lasted me about two summers, great value although now I feel like I need those Moonstar ones! I like my Common Projects for caj-ing up nicer outfits but they are a bit ubiquitous these days. Have my eye on the New Balance that Arket are currently stocking...
Thanks for the lovely video. As for the comment on Converse '70s versus the Original, I've owned both and I can echo that '70s are much higher quality (and far more comfortable for my narrow-er feet). My white pair are my go-to styled with a cropped tailored trouser. Love that the soles are more a cream color-off-sets the bright white canvas nicely.
Whoop - amazing review! I've purchased the Muji trainers and the Superga Organic Cotton ones last year after watching your vlogs and I love how different they are to style with. The Muji ones are a bargain in terms of price and quality I believe. I'm also a Chucks high -top fan (the classic ones) but I totally agree on the price..That's why I normally purchase them preloved.
Hey Brittany! Great video! Always waiting for your vlog every week! Love that you’ve tackled your sneakers this time! And regarding the Common Projects Achilles, I’ve been a huge fan of their minimal design. You can see your European size in the gold numbers stamped outside your shoes. I think your Common Projects Achilles size is 37 based on the video. So the three sets of gold numbers correspond to Style Number, European Size, and Colour. 🤍✨
As someone with short toes and average-wide feet, the Superga Cotu trainers are a perfect fit on me! I find Converses so uncomfortable in comparison, and always get blisters in them. My three favourite trainers are my Supergas, Reebok Club C 85 (for the perfect 80s look), and Celine plimsole trainers - Phoebe Philo absolutely nailed the ideal classic canvas trainer, it’s just a pity how expensive they are! (I would wear them everywhere, day and night, except they’re so precious now!)
@@BrittanyBathgate1 I love them to death, but as an aside to anyone who’s interested in finding them second-hand, Celine trainers aren’t actually very well made: they’re gorgeously understated and perfect to look at, but the rubber logo on the back of the sole peels, the canvas and sole tend to separate where you flex your toes, and the glue holding the rubber to the canvas yellows and browns - so it’s hard to justify the price!😔 On the other hand, if Phoebe Philo partners with a trainer-specialized brand, I would be FIRST IN LINE! Her taste is just 😍
Hi Brittany! I’ve been a fan for awhile now and have always looked forward to your new videos! Great in depth review on trainers especially those NBs and how you styled every piece! Just a suggestion on the 70s Chucks - I went a size up and they’re actually comfortable. I have lots of room on the toe area and best part is it made my feet look longer which made me look, weirdly, taller in a way 😅 I’m 5’2 btw. Anyway, thank you for being such an inspiration, from home deco to everyday living & style ❤️
Brittany, on the very off chance you see this message, if you are ever considering selling your New Balance I would give them a happy home! Hello from Scotland, thank you for making lovely content - it's a total treat. x
I know it’s been commented so many times and I’m so late to this vid but dying at you staring at the CPs exclaiming “I can’t see the size anywhere” when it’s right in front of your eyes 😂
I love off white shoes more than stark white as well. I’m still looking for a perfect pair but have loved my Zara leather trainers for years now but the ones I have are a bit big for me. I wish they release it in kids size (I’m also size35 and UK sz 3 is just slightly big)
Loved it as always! 🤍 One brand that I truly like is Osklen, their styles are the best for my personal interest and, in a minimal poit of view, they really nailed on popping some colorful options. Xx Gi.
Looked forward to a Sunday vid from you Brittany :) For the Common Projects trainers, I believe the middle number on the side of the shoe is actually the size, so yours would be 37s. Hope that helps!
Great video as are all your videos. As one of your older fans, I admire your style and I’m a big Margaret Howell fan too. Just bought the Studio Nicholson trainers in dove, on your recommendation. Would be really interested in your opinion on the mushroom shade? Keep up the good work
I'm a bit late to comment on this video, but the size of Common Projects is listed on the side with the code in gold. It's the model number, size and colour I believe. Looks like you have a 37.
Yay I love these videos Brittany! On a sidenote, I was wondering if you knew what font you were using in the cutaways? Sincerely a fellow design student needing some inspiration 🖤
Hi! I adore your style so I would really appreciate your opinion on the Clarks Wallabees. I really love your Honore derby shoes from The Row, can't afford them though :)). Thank you!
Rе: Superga trainers - a couple of years ago I bought the classic supergas in a silver colour way for around £65 and after less than 1 month of wear (and that's not me wearing them every day) the sole was ruined at the back and a hole had started forming... i managed to exchange them for a new pair in hope that i had just gotten a faulty pair but the same thing happened with the new pair... the glue on the sides started to come off after less than a month too. since then i haven't bought a pair because i was quite disappointed but who knows they may have changed haha
I've been wearing the Superga Cotu Plus for some years now, they have a thicker insole, mostly on the back, which makes them more comfortable and adds some height too. Maybe you should give them a try!
i relate so much with the wide feet! i really loved my superga but after a long while my pinky started to get blisters. felt like theres a metal thingy in it? might repurchase them soon!
Hi Brittany, I’m inspired by you and I’m keen to purchase a pair of studio nicholson moonstar sneakers. I’d like to seek some guidance on sizing...I’m usually a size EU38.5 or Japanese size 24. Should I get a size 4 or 5 in this instance ? Thanks so much in advance !
Hi Brittany, thanks for the great video! I personally owns a pair of Moonstar gym sneaker and is looking forward to get the Nicholson pair for me & my girlfriend. I was wondering if the outsole of Nicholson ran out quickly, or losing some grid or traction, as in the video can tell? The Moonstar gym pair I ownis going on 3rd year and the rubbersole is going very strong. Hope to hear your opinion on this.
Thank you! ❤️ The Muji trainers tend to go in the washing machine. Superga trainers aren't great in the washing machine though so I have to try spot clean them with a sponge or stain removal.
Really enjoyed this one! The black Converse suit you, but I also remember having fit issues with those Chuck 70s in comparison to the regular ones. I believe the Daybreaks are so lightweight and comfortable because they used to be part of Nike's racing collection back in the day. And did you ever consider any Adidas flats; like the Campus?
HI Britney, love this video, so helpful. Re the Studio Nicholson trainers and sizing down as you mentioned, do you think if one wanted to put a cushy insole for more support, keeping one's 'normal' size rather than sizing down would be the thing?
I've had a record high of 7 Supergas in the past 6 or more years - replacing them every time the hole appears because I really do like them a whole lot. However, lately I've made a switch to the Veja but not in love just yet. Thanks for sharing more brands that I should check out! :)
great video. Funny b/c I can't wear Supergas b/c of my feet being wide but it's the toe box area that's too narrow for me I think. My feet are square shaped, so the toe box area needs to be wide enough to accomodate my little toe being up in line with the rest of my toes. I found some Gola ones with similar style (to Supergas - which I love the style) which are a shape that accomodates my toes. New Balance, Saucony and Keds (I'm in the U.S.) are the right shape for my feet, in case anyone has the same. Wider feet. Also there's a new eco brand called .... Keep Company. Those ones are very comfortable and I've washed them about 10 times.
Really enjoy these wardrobe review videos. The dove Studio Nicholson trainers appear to lean more grey in the video then the cream one's, would you say thats correct? I own a pair of the hightop Moonstar all weathers in beige which I really like the colour of and I'm trying to figure out which colour low top is the same/similar colour. Thanks.
Thank you ❤️ Yes, the Dove colour definitely leans more towards grey. So maybe the cream might be a better match? I love the look of the high tops! They look great for drizzly days.
I don't think it's just your feet, the 70s Converse are a lot more uncomfortable than the original one (although the sole is softer). The original ones are a lot better.
Trainers are so weird because they are not the same level of comfort for everyone... I have arched foot and the Muji trainers are horrid ! I had to remove the soles but then they were too small for me to put the ones I had made. Arched foot people, I would not recommend the Muji trainers for you !
Actually it is pretty cool that EVEN THOUGH something was paid partnership, Brittany is honest enough to admit that something didn’t meet her standard - that is fair more valuable that any other content creator/influencer who would either don’t admit it or even lie about things like this..
@@karolastawik i don’t see it that way. I see an influencer getting a quick pay cheque by duping her trusting followers into thinking this is a product she’s tested and likes enough to promote. This is something she’s actually addressed in a previous video as something she wouldn’t do.

Sitting in the sun, eating ice cream, and watching this. The most pleasant Sunday treat.
Cor! I wish it was warm enough for ice cream here. I hope you enjoy x
that COLLAR though
Not your toe, I assure you. When I was little Superga were all Italian kids would wear and the hole on top was a badge of honour 😜
My big toe feels less insecure now 😂
I second that!

The Vans Authentics have heavy surfing heritage. That’s why the vamp is so low, as they were often slipped on and worn barefoot. Love the video!
Ahh that's interesting. Makes total sense now. Thank you :)
Finally I find that I am not alone with my (20+ years) Superga puzzlement about the Big Toe !

Where is the shirt you're wearing from when you're talking about the shoes? Idk if it's not mentioned bc it's sold out, but had to ask, it's so nice!!
Pretty sure it's a Lemaire Twisted Shirt!
I love how thoughtful you are about all your shoes and so many different price points too :)
