How to look taller? Hey everybody! My friend SOL was really shocked after she saw me in person because I was even shorter than she expected. She gave me the idea to make this video! I'm a shorty but I know my body shape well and how to style, so I look taller than my acutual height. It's all about body proportions! Nice video! I am 4’11” and decades older than you. I’ve found that attitude is the single most important factor in looking taller (NOT kidding!) - confidence will give a short person “presence “. And, yes, weight also affects how short we look: when I’m heavier, I look short; when I’m thin, I just look tiny (but not particularly short).

You're not 4'9" by the way. 4'9" would be 145cm. You're actually 4'11", or probably 5'.
It's 4.9 feet, not 4 foot 9 inches. 1 foot = 12 inches, not 10, so 9/10 of a foot is actually closer to 11 inches.

I’m 4’ 10 and my hack is wearing long flared pants to make my legs look longer. Also, MIDI SKIRTS, especially flared or mermaid midi skirts really accentuate your figure 😭💕 Always tuck in your shirt for longer legs 😃

I feel like anything over the knee might depend on body proportions to look well... but essentially shorter shorts/skirts I think just to show more of your legs?
Wear something high waisted to compensate for the length hidden by boots
Short shorts and/or mini skirts. Leggings that match the color of the boots closely will help keep it more modest. I definitely second the high waisted bottoms.
Over the knee boots would probably go all the way up my leg lol

I'm 4'9" and totally relate to not finding the right clothing and wish companies made our size. A lot of kids sizing our amazing like Zara kids & Uniqlo kids. 😉💛 & there are some really great companies for actual petites like 5ft and under.

I am over 30 and 4'9". I cannot tell you how often people make the assumption that I am under 21. Ugh, a tad annoying when they say "Oh, you look young." The more appropriate thing to say is, "You look youthful." Then I reply, "Having no children keeps me young!"
