I have always known about the truce... giggled when it appeared on "Doctor Who" but I never knew it was considered a myth.
There was more rotation after that to prevent this kind of dealings between troops, because the generals considered this as "Shirking"..
And that is why we need the European Union. We are all European brothers and sisters and should never ever kill each other again.
Maybe we need an Earth Union
