Content idea, take a random subscriber, give him 10 hours worth of online coaching. Make videos of the progress and see / show off how much quicker driver 61 coaching can make you!
That would be really interesting
This would be cool. I'm bad at driving please coach me haha
ready to receive the coaching! very good content idea
Let’s randomly pick me! :D
@@stelixsub well it's what I do as a day job coming up with marketing / sales idea so I'm glad people like the idea, there are bound to be loads of people like me who are horrendous at this game. Would love to see what they can do with a noob driver as well as coaching real drivers
The A.I doesn't play by the same rules and it's annoying. Try racing it in wet weather and you'll see them take off like a rocket out of the corners while you're bogging down, it's ridiculous.
In general the AI has insane traction at the end of corners and also reach higher top speed, especially once you get above 90/100.
Exactly! Recently I was racing a full race of 57 laps, was leading the race with 10+sec and in the last lap the lapped car AI came and banged me from sideways!! 😑😑
Same in the new Forza, AI barely brake and barely turn yet make tight corners at faster speeds - impossible.
Or just wait till codemasters finally fixes the ridiculous AI speed on straights
I find their acceleration out of corners to be the most annoying.
I realised the AI is broken when you use DRS and the AI ahead still pulls away
#Codedisasters
I literally started play without traction control cause i was losing tons of time editing the corners, and i fixed a bit,but Ferrari was literally going twice the Speed of my car 😂
Are you doing My Team mode by any chance, cause initially it is supposed to be that your car is considerably less capable than most of the field.
One point of contention about braking points; don't use any markers on the side opposite the apex (i.e. if youre turning right, use a reference on the right side) because it's way easier to miss the turn in if you're looking at the wrong side of the track. It's better to have understeer and trail brake than miss the corner entirely.
Interesting idea. I don't play the have, but looking at the example he provided I think the key is to use your peripheral vision, don't actually look directly at it. The benefit of the left side when turning right is you're closer to it so it stays in view longer and you can be more precise.

huh, this actually seems kinda helpful. i started playing F1 22 recently and i knew i was losing a lot of time on corners. thanks for the tips.

@@alunesh12345 What's jesus's time around Monaco?
Does he also drive a V6 turbo hybrid?
I would also add that braking puts load onto the wheel wheels which are the wheels that steer your car. Applying a small amount of brake always helps the car to turn and thus prevents understeer. Weight shifts is a concept that all drivers should know. In a motorbike, I think it is way more obvious and riders really get it when it comes to positioning the weights with their body and bike. In a car, there is still a significant amount of weight being thrown around and grasping this concept will help driver understand why the car understeer/oversteer and so on.
Front tyres hate weight over the front axle. Exaggerate the example - and put a truck on the front of the chassis + see if you turn better. Going to be hard to turn.
The reason the car turns better when you brake is largely due to the speed you're wiping off, giving the front tyres more capacity.
@@LowerLaptimeThat’s because the truck you add on the front axle adds mass to the whole car, that’s why it would be difficult to turn it. The braking takes away load from the rear and adds it to the front tires making them pressed harder into the surface making them offer more grip and lessening the understeer.
Great video, please make more F1 22 game related videos in the future, maybe setup related? Cheers :)
Setup tips would be great!
Nice vid also useable in real karting! 🙌🏻
New F1 fan and first time playing this game . It’s so frustrating yet I’m getting better / more consistent with no assists . Thought shifting gears would be hardest thing to learn but no TC is tough
My First F1 game as well, been practicing every night for six days about an hour and a half per night doing time trian at Hungary.
No assists and I have to say I find it very hard, I've only managed a 1.21.667 seven whole seconds behind the top leaderboard time.
Right now getting to 1.19 seems impossible.
Hardest thing I found is consistency, which is what makes me appreciate the guys on the real track even more. It's very hard to drive 50-70 laps without making any major errors or getting cornering penalties.
I find no traction control harder, I prefer driving with manual and suggested gears.
Brilliant content as always mate. You’ve got a great ability to explain this stuff really well to beginners like myself.

Great video I will compete in Lap time trial tournament so this is helpful💪❤️
Great vid thanks
Can you please do more of these F1 2022 videos? I'm always needing tips. Thanks mate
I learned all these tricks in Mario Kart back on the SNES days.
Thanks for sharing these tips. They are very clear and easy to understand.
When I first practice game racing back 14-15 years ago with Race Driver - GRID (1st one) and Colin McRae Rally - DIRT (the first one). The learning curve was steep but when I could drive the game at the highest difficulty, I was skilled enough to beat any other racing games.
I learned many of the tips you're giving away the hard way. So racing gamers, take his advice, they are the real deal.

First time player . Never knew the learning curve was this steep on racing games ! Bought the new GT and find myself better at that game .
@@Maximustrengthonor Try to get a steering wheel set to really experience the game as it is supposed to be. I usually turn off all the aids so that I would build my habit the proper way. Because when driving the real car, you don't have the aids either (like racing lines, a fool-proof traction control and so on).
Great vid mate
Can we have a vid on how to setup your car it a real sim how to get rid of understeer/oversteer & how to change a setup for overheating tyres or to help put more heat into your tyres if you can’t get them up to temperature thx👍
I haven’t played an F1 game till now since Sega Dreamcast lol. I think my issue(1st practice on full sim) is just not knowing the track AT ALL, never raced it. A little touchy on the throttle but I mostly fixed that problem, probably doesn’t help it defaulted to the more speed preset and no TC lol.
Plus I’m on controller rn lol but it’s not bad.
My boi Slaptrain up in this shiz? Lessss GOOOOOOOO!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
I definitely need to work on my trail braking and releasing the brake more smoothly when exiting corners. Thanks!
I usually get 20 place thanks hopefully I can make it to the podium
Any hints on how to do a start correctly, been trying to launch using 10-12k reves but it's been so hard to accelerate as fast as the ai off the line
If you're on F1 22, its just a bug where the AI has ridiculous traction on start and out of corners

I love how this is sponsored by the F1 game and they have a link in the description, but EA didn't give a promo code. Like come on, at least 5% would've been nice.

@driver61 where is difference betwen codemasters and asseto, which is better?
You know what’s the funny part with my gt3 cars I can smoothly do all these things but with the f1 it’s a bit harder for me probably cuz of the car has so much more downforce and feels faster even tho I go faster sometimes in my gt3 cars 😅
Does anyone know how on controller I could do right to left controlling instantly?
I mean, whenever someone uses a wheel, they can instantly go from left to right, but on controller, there's a midpoint where the controlling just stops for a bit until it starts again and then goes onto the right.
Believe in JESUS today, confess and repent of your sins. No one goes to heaven for doing good but by believing in JESUS who died for our sins. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16)🥳❤️

I’m having a problem with my wheel set up? I can’t gain speed and struggle to even get past 5th gear I’m not sure what’s wrong in my settings can anyone help please?????
I can't believe you made a video like this thanks 👍
A suprise to be sure but ... A welcome one
I’m good at a couple tracks and bad at the rest, I have practiced in time trial in the ones I’m good at so should I just keep doing time trial on the tracks I’m not so good at?
That's a good question.
How do you get good at all of them?🤔
Doesn't help if I teleport 4ft above the ground under braking on Bahrain turn 1
Great tips,…. For any SIM.
How do you do this without a sim setup I just play on Xbox?
is it possible to do a tutorial on how to do it with controllers ?
Best tip I can give you a a controller player is to learn how to turn smoothly. All of these tips don't mean anything if you turn by flicking the stick left and right
Really good video helped so much especially the where to accelerate one
The game where the Practice sessions are harder (dare I say impossible) to beat than the races themselves.
Braking is the most difficult part to learn from 0
Badmotorfingerrrrrrrrrrrrrr
nice tutorial
find the minimum braking it takes to slow down for a corner, then find the maximum throttle you can maintain THROUGH the corner (during/after braking) as well. 'getting on the throttle' isn't always 100%. it may be 30% or less at apex, but can be 60% soon after, then 100% - the more consistent "max" throttle through the entire track can make a huge difference in lap 'times'
sometimes 'slower' is faster with 40% throttle through a turn you would normally 'coast' through, delivering a faster out of turn speed.
Also: The MGU-H charges the battery when braking and when applying the throttle. So if you use 40% throttle instead of coasting, you are charging up the battery, which you can use for ERS when out of the corner into the straight.
@@danieldorn9989 excellent point, thank you!
Regarding trail braking, you should really mention the most important point in that it weights the front tyres and helps the car rotate into the corner better. Turning into a corner without a little brake application is awful. You sort of allude to it but don't explain this key point. Which is also the reason why braking too early is very costly.
Do you coach anyone who is willing to pay?
Do you have any tips for keyboard players 😐?!
I play F1 2021 on Xbox One as well as moto gp 20. I am very quick and smooth In moto gp 20 but holy shit I AM ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE at F1 2021. Maybe this is because I have done several track days plus advanced track riding schools in real life with sport-bikes plus many years of street riding with sport bikes in real life. I fully believe this background truly helps me but F1 2021 totally crush my soul.
2:33 Turn 2*
How is this game with a controller?
playing with a keyboard 😂😂
Does real F1 have upshift tone? :) (beeping)
Just drive quickly
I need a video along the lines of "how not to crash" lol
Be slow, be patient, try to guess ai's next move (which is pretty hard) and most importantly be super lucky
Just take it easy and put laps together :)
i have the seris games
I can't believe I didn't know how to brake. I was braking like forza.
Downshifting increases turn-in.
My big problem is I’m a controller player and I can hardly drive in the wet inters or wets. There is still no force feedback in my ps4 controller. Really starting to think I should get a wheel!
If you love playing racing games a wheel is a must and though expensive initially, it will pay itself off in enjoyment relatively quickly. I regretted buying my wheel at first, but now a year or so later im so glad i did buy one
F1 does not have amazing wheel support though. For that you should look into "real" racing simulators.

The most crucial tip in this game is that the game is not a full sim, once you succeed the basics, its kinda like who exploits the unrealistic aspects more becomes the faster driver (just look at the amount of corner cutting in esports)
Drive on the grass and be faster.
Release the brake smooth? Never even crossed my mind before! Thank you!
And here I am still playing on a keyboard :/
Like in really life, does more rubber get laid on the track the more laps are driven on it?

I think the track offers more grip over time, but maybe not necessarily resulting from 'laps driven' - could be wrong though.
I searched how to be fast on F1 22, found this and I'm watching how to be fast on a general racing game.... I'm sure this game has its own tricks like shortshifting to have more traction or so...
The first thing I can do is fix my setup, the Logitech g920 throttle pedal has struck again and the bloody thing is broken

I'd say 99% of people who play this game or maybe 95% should use Medium TC, not only is no TC incredibly hard in this game it's also very unrealistically hard, F1 drivers like Lando have said Medium is more close to real life then none
In the last F1 race I noticed that some drivers (Hamilton included) kept some throttle on, about 5%, when braking. Is this a graphical glitch of visuals or is this really happening?
If it's not a visual glitch then I'd assume something along the lines of the throttle map being dead for that part of the pedal travel at that part of the track to avoid input, and the driver is just decelerating so hard they can't avoid putting a tiny bit of pressure onto the pedal? Another assumption, of course, but I'd think the sensor for the TV cameras is all entirely based on distance and not the signal being sent to the power unit.
I believe those are just broken graphics as it's too commen to be happening to everyone
Just throttle and brake at the same time acts kind of like Traction Control, leclerc does this as well. You also gain lap time having a little bit of throttle even if you're not rdy to come off the brakes entirely.

This whole video is advertising, blending of advertising and analyses content is VERY VERY annoying and discredits the video. I can only distance myself from such work deploying this technique, diver61, maybe prosperous for you, but be aware that you are seriously annoying your viewers. The other videos with in-video advertising by yourself in equally annoying.
Question: Did your sponsors pay out for this video? They can't have been happy that you continually got the name of their game wrong.. F1 2022 isn't a game that exists.
