    The audio is a bit lower than usual, sorry about that! Anyway, just turn it up a bit extra and enjoy!

    man I laughed so hard after you said the vocals sound a bit goofy and then I heard them XD new message delivery tone right there lol. On serious note awesome vid and the vocals with the music are excellent \m/

      Haha yes, but it's always like that with extreme music so it's normal. Context is even more important, haha.

    I love that some of those old waves plug ins are still just as useful today as they were over 10 years ago. The techniques you're utilizing are what I'd probably prefer to use as well. Some of the mentors I had were also varying single vocal tracks by moving them off time from each other by a millisecond. Or creating distortion on vocal tracks through a few layers of light compression at a 2:1 ratio.

    Great Video Scott... I like the part about the reverb seeming too much until you hear it in the mix. I remember when you heard my first mix you told me the solo needed more reverb and I was thinking damn i got a damn ass load of it now but ofcourse that was just listening to the solo track alone.. since then I have been listening to the mix more than the solo track I use the solo track to cut frequencies and get a tone and effects basis then use the mix to enhance that.. I was curious about one thing.. The band you used on this track I like their sound is there anyway we can acquire this music after you produce it?... Kind of a bonus to the bands that support you.. putting up a link to buy their music so that it is a win win for both.. not to mention think of the marketing value..

      Hmm, didn't think about that, ahah. Nothing to really say though, I just played them in with my MIDI controller!

      I'm interesting about the mixing tech, eq, compression and other tip and tricks. Because I'm a big fan of EMPEROR, Arcturus, Satyricon, early Dimmu Borgir I'm using a Korg keyboard with classic layer of strings and choir for the classic sound of BM 90'S. If you can relate few minutes about mixing and treated "Strings" and keyboard it would be awesome 😎

    Still found it a bit dry. Was searching for something like the mixing of Septicflesh's vocals or anything more atmospheric.

      @@ChernobylAudio666 do you send each track individually or create a bus for vocals and send it to the reverbs?

      How do you set the send from audio track? 0 or less? And do you move your volume slide on the fx?I'm using ugritone 1989 reverb (which has also delay). Do you it?

    Killer, but, actually, there is too much Reverb and Delay when all plays together, IMO of course......a bit less and it's fantastic.

      Too much reverb and delay in black metal? Never heard of that before xD

    My first thought was "dont"

    • @ChernobylAudio666
      @ChernobylAudio666  3 роки тому +4

      Yes, for the tr00 kvlt out there, black metal should actually be recorded to a wax wheel, with no kind of production done whatsoever, to achieve that "atmosphere" that they keep talking about.
