You forgot to mention very important thing about ocucor - you dont need to hit enemies with main beam, tendrils will still auto aim at the bodies. So if you have big enough magazine and low enough fire rate you can lock your LMB aiming at the floor and go away - enemies around you will be dying. Might work with gloom for afk survival setup or something like that
I went with a pure heat build since you will get viral procs from panzer anyways and even if you don't, armor stripping of any kind is common enough that the pure increase stacking of heat does perfectly fine. Primed heated charge and scorch for some status as well and you're all set. I used primed slip magazine for 93 magazine for some extra wiggle room. Tainted clip gives it 96 but makes that reload suffer hard, and you might need to reload at least once. Still not as powerful as the tenet cycron but its convenience is what matters.
I've been using the occucor for years as my ez mode no aim gun. I have a go roll heat riven and a separate toxin one. Now it's even stronger. You really do need the beam length mod because it massively increases the range of the tendrils.
to add to your comment about pyrana prime, i run pyrana prime with arcane pistoleer and wisp haste mote. because of its secondary ability where it turns into a akimbo gun, itll increase its ammo pool and refill your magazine. lets say you fired into a crowd, landed a headshot, pistoleer triggers so you have infinite ammo but you have like 2 shots left. if you kill 3 mobs quickly itll turn into akimbo, giving you 24 bullets in the magazine. so its very easy to never stop shooting with pyrana prime with arcane pistoleer because of that specail mechanic of the build in magazine reload. I have no doubts arcane pistoleer would do the same for ocucor
On the one hand, an Exilus mod for reloading x% of magazine per kill would be great... On the other hand, I really don't think DE will do it. They've been trying to force us to swap weapons, they've been trying to keep primaries as our primary damage source... I don't think they'll do it.
A) You mean Gaz's idea that I'm commenting on? B) What does melee have to do with anything? Or are you referring to using the holster reload options, which don't actually require melee specifically? C) You realize you still need to be, you know... Shooting? And aiming? It'd be a lazy mod, yes, but being literally Away From Keyboard... It wouldn't change a thing. If you're going to try code a bot to play Warframe, you'd just use infinite ammo weaponry. The Nataruk is free, after all. You wouldn't actually be AFK with this mod, and in case you've forgotten... Warframe reloads automatically on emptying your magazine, unless you specifically turn that off. So you could already just hit the fire button repeatedly and get away with it, especially with infinite ammo weaponry being a thing. This proposed mod would change absolutely nothing for AFK exploiters.
If you want infinite ammo pistols just use arcane pistoleer it's crazy with pyranna prime and has the advantage (depends on setup) of taking arcane slot instead of mod slot

i had a great build on this and riven before i quit thing was just gross honestly and my battacor if i had this back then it woulda been a god slayer of handguns cuz i had so much multishot and tendrils the crit and status would of been ridiculous the battacor and occucor were always great weps period and very fun
Interesting. You could also run it on Garuda with her augment that instantly reloads the gun, though I’m not sure if that counts as a proper reload for the occucor. I’d imagine it doesn’t or I wouldn’t suggest it, but I don’t know for sure

It struggles with no tendrils in sp. The second I have maxed tendrils and that 240% buff is up, sp enemies evaporate. This is a chaining phantasma secondary. I let a heat proc kill a dude and it stacked up to over 300k, and that was just the final tic of one of the tendrils.
I have 180 riven slots & I kid u not, I must have dissolved 150-200 rivens (inc ocucor riven). We should have unlimited slots costing 10p each, not 60p for 3.
If DE would get their heads outta their ass and give us 10 mod slots 1 personal weapon mod slot and an augment slot mod set up would be perfect especially since they are Ming enemies stronger and adding more mods.

a better build would be replacing pistol gambit with a bane and target cracker with lethal torrent, you do more damage but want to keep viral heat
