Parents have to remain very vigilant and whatever you do - don’t push your little girls to give hugs, sit on laps, etc. My five year old offered my own brother a handshake the other day in lieu of a hug when he offered one and I was so proud of her for standing up for what she felt comfortable with. In college my professor asked for my number and I panicked so I gave it to him , he would text me things like your so beautiful we should hang out etc. I left the school shortly after and I never went to my graduation cause it felt awkward. Scary stuff.

But you were a grown woman, not a minor.! who willingly gave the professor your number. If you would had said to him “sorry, i don’t want to give you my number”, and if he kept insisting afterwards then that would be scary because he is not accepting a “NO”. You willingly stop going to collage for something that was not threatening in anyway to you.
