He changed everything to an unfathomable degree. May the Holy Spirit come to rest on our hurting nation in this dark time and heal us.

The power of Miracles brought a priest to believe in many many others let us all remember that miracles happen everyday by him through him for him. Fr Mark, this is the most powerful sermon I've every felt. I know how it feels to have the Holy Spirit in you. When I pray the Rosary, I pray it so intensely, I feel The Holy Spirit in me burning with Faith in me as white hot as the Sun. I pray all Catholics can connect to the Holy Spirit. He is our Advocate and God. He can do wonders if you have anxiety problems like I do, and need a boost of something.
I’ve been asking the Holy Spirit to come to me in my prayers and after asking I feel silence. I was about to overlook this video because I attended mass yesterday and figured it would be repetitive yet something made me go back and watch this. Wow, Father Mark, thank you Jesus! Dear Father Mark. Thank you so much for your Pentecost homily. I am writing from an island off the coast of Thailand that I never knew existed ten years ago yet God has miraculously put me here for a mission that is yet to be revealed to me. For the past 18 months I have endured a horrific spiritual and temporal struggle but God has done this to purify and change me, though it has been very painful. I feel that He is using Pentecost to help heal me. Your homily has opened me more to the charisms of the Holy Spirit and healed a 45 year distrust of such charisms, though this was still an important part of my spiritual journey back to Catholicism. My distrust came from an unfortunate experience whilst I was part of a Charismatic community and I have held a confusion or bias about the Charismatic movement for all this time. You have helped show me that my problem has not been with the Holy Spirit but about hurt from how human beings used these gifts in this community which I think are warned about in the Gospels. Thank you that through your help my thoughts have been reformed. God Bless Tad.

I WAS filled with the Holy Spirit as teenager. I spoke in tongues and was also given tongues and interpretation of tongues. The Lord used me in prayer groups to give messages. Without the fire and power of the Holy Spirit the Christians don't feel the love Of God and the desire to witness for Christ. Great powerful message Father Mark.
Praise the Lord, I was healed of my left hand wrist injury by the Holy Spirit some 20 years ago when I knelt before the Blessed Sacrament during a Life in the Spirit Retreat. God is real and HE reaffirmed me of this Truth and since then I had never doubted HIM in good times and bad times alike. Hallelujah !!!!

The time is now for revival!!!! God is calling us into service. Our mission as christians has never changed! No more sitting on the sidelines watching others proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit has the power to transform us into people on fire for God, willing to step out of our comfort zones and use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to proclaim the glory and power of God... to heal his people, fight evil and build up his Holy church! This year, after having the best Lent of my life and beginning to pray the rosary everyday, a tremendous love for our Lord filled my heart, and these five signs articulate what I have experienced. St. Louis de Montfort puts it best in True Devotion to Mary: "When the Holy Ghost, her Spouse, has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. He enters there in His fullness; He communicates Himself to that soul abundantly, and to the full extent to which she makes room for her Spouse."

It's really sad that I was surprised by a sentence I read some years ago: "The Holy Spirit is a *person* and we must get to know Him." I was brought up in the Church but hadn't heard that until I was in my 50s. Bless whoever wrote those words, I'm sorry I've forgotten his or her name, but this person opened my eyes and changed my life. Not long after this, a priest guided me to make a silent Holy Hour daily at home. I had no clue, so the priest said, "Come, Holy Spirit, come!" That's all I was to do to begin my daily silent Holy Hour. I've learned what the Scripture means where it says, "I will give you rest." Maybe you only have less than an hour because of family duties, but if you can take a moment to invite the Holy Spirit, please do. Then listen. As always, 3 Hail Marys for Father Mark.

Fr. Mark, I have never heard such a Spirit-filled homily in my life - thank you. This will help me as I have incurable cancer - unless of course I have some Spirit-filled people to pray with me and I believe, if it is God's Holy Will that I would be cured.

This year, after having the best Lent of my life and beginning to pray the rosary everyday, a tremendous love for our Lord filled my heart, and these five signs articulate what I have experienced. St. Louis de Montfort puts it best in True Devotion to Mary: "When the Holy Ghost, her Spouse, has found Mary in a soul, He flies there. He enters there in His fullness; He communicates Himself to that soul abundantly, and to the full extent to which she makes room for her Spouse."

It's really sad that I was surprised by a sentence I read some years ago: "The Holy Spirit is a *person* and we must get to know Him." I was brought up in the Church but hadn't heard that until I was in my 50s. Bless whoever wrote those words, I'm sorry I've forgotten his or her name, but this person opened my eyes and changed my life. Not long after this, a priest guided me to make a silent Holy Hour daily at home. I had no clue, so the priest said, "Come, Holy Spirit, come!" That's all I was to do to begin my daily silent Holy Hour. I've learned what the Scripture means where it says, "I will give you rest." Maybe you only have less than an hour because of family duties, but if you can take a moment to invite the Holy Spirit, please do. Then listen.
