Welcome to Honex, a division of Honesco and a part of the Hexagon Group. This is it! Wow. Wow. We know that you, as a bee, have worked your whole life to get to the point where you can work for your whole life. Honey begins when our valiant Pollen Jocks bring the nectar to the hive. Our top-secret formula is automatically color-corrected, scent-adjusted and bubble-contoured into this soothing sweet syrup with its distinctive golden glow you know as... These bees are stress-testing a new helmet technology. - What do you think he makes? - Not enough. Here we have our latest advancement, the Krelman. - What does that do? - Oatches that little strand of honey that hangs after you pour it. Saves us millions. Oan anyone work on the Krelman? Of course. Most bee jobs are small ones. But bees know that every small job, if it's done well, means a lot. But choose carefully because you'll stay in the job you pick for the rest of your life. The same job the rest of your life? I didn't know that. What's the difference? You'll be happy to know that bees, as a species, haven't had one day off in 27 million years. So you'll just work us to death? We'll sure try. Wow! That blew my mind! "What's the difference?" How can you say that? One job forever? That's an insane choice to have to make. I'm relieved. Now we only have to make one decision in life. But, Adam, how could they never have told us that? Why would you question anything? We're bees. We're the most perfectly functioning society on Earth. You ever think maybe things work a little too well here? Like what? Give me one example. I don't know. But you know what I'm talking about. Please clear the gate. Royal Nectar Force on approach. Wait a second. Oheck it out. - Hey, those are Pollen Jocks! - Wow. I've never seen them this close. They know what it's like outside the hive. Yeah, but some don't come back. - Hey, Jocks! - Hi, Jocks! You guys did great! You're monsters! You're sky freaks! I love it! I love it! - I wonder where they were. - I don't know. Their day's not planned. Outside the hive, flying who knows where, doing who knows what. You can'tjust decide to be a Pollen Jock. You have to be bred for that. Right. Look. That's more pollen than you and I will see in a lifetime. It's just a status symbol. Bees make too much of it. Perhaps. Unless you're wearing it and the ladies see you wearing it. Those ladies? Aren't they our cousins too? Distant. Distant. Look at these two. - Oouple of Hive Harrys. - Let's have fun with them. It must be dangerous being a Pollen Jock. Yeah. Once a bear pinned me against a mushroom! He had a paw on my throat, and with the other, he was slapping me! - Oh, my! - I never thought I'd knock him out. What were you doing during this? Trying to alert the authorities. I can autograph that. A little gusty out there today, wasn't it, comrades? Yeah. Gusty. We're hitting a sunflower patch six miles from here tomorrow. - Six miles, huh? - Barry! A puddle jump for us, but maybe you're not up for it. - Maybe I am. - You are not! We're going 0900 at J-Gate. What do you think, buzzy-boy? Are you bee enough? I might be. It all depends on what 0900 means. Hey, Honex! Dad, you surprised me. You decide what you're interested in? - Well, there's a lot of choices. - But you only get one. Do you ever get bored doing the same job every day? Son, let me tell you about stirring. You grab that stick, and you just move it around, and you stir it around. You get yourself into a rhythm. It's a beautiful thing. You know, Dad, the more I think about it, maybe the honey field just isn't right for me. You were thinking of what, making balloon animals? That's a bad job for a guy with a stinger. Janet, your son's not sure he wants to go into honey! - Barry, you are so funny sometimes. - I'm not trying to be funny. You're not funny! You're going into honey. Our son, the stirrer! - You're gonna be a stirrer? - No one's listening to me! Wait till you see the sticks I have. I could say anything right now. I'm gonna get an ant tattoo! Let's open some honey and celebrate! Maybe I'll pierce my thorax. Shave my antennae. Shack up with a grasshopper. Get a gold tooth and call everybody "dawg"! I'm so proud. - We're starting work today! - Today's the day. Oome on! All the good jobs will be gone. Yeah, right. Pollen counting, stunt bee, pouring, stirrer, front desk, hair removal... - Is it still available? - Hang on. Two left! One of them's yours! Oongratulations! Step to the side. - What'd you get? - Picking crud out. Stellar! Wow! Oouple of newbies? Yes, sir! Our first day! We are ready! Make your choice. - You want to go first? - No, you go. Oh, my. What's available? Restroom attendant's open, not for the reason you think. - Any chance of getting the Krelman? - Sure, you're on. I'm sorry, the Krelman just closed out. Wax monkey's always open. The Krelman opened up again. What happened? A bee died. Makes an opening. See? He's dead. Another dead one. Deady. Deadified. Two more dead. Dead from the neck up. Dead from the neck down. Out where? - Out there. - Oh, no! I have to, before I go to work for the rest of my life. You're gonna die! You're crazy! Hello? Another call coming in. If anyone's feeling brave, there's a Korean deli on 83rd that gets their roses today. Hey, guys. - Look at that. - Isn't that the kid we saw yesterday? Hold it, son, flight deck's restricted. It's OK, Lou. We're gonna take him up. Really? Feeling lucky, are you? Sign here, here. Just initial that. - Thank you. - OK. You got a rain advisory today, and as you all know, bees cannot fly in rain. So be careful. As always, watch your brooms, hockey sticks, dogs, birds, bears and bats. Also, I got a couple of reports of root beer being poured on us. Murphy's in a home because of it, babbling like a cicada! - That's awful. - And a reminder for you rookies, bee law number one, absolutely no talking to humans! All right, launch positions! he really used no priority moves on golisopod.... leech life, aqua jet, first impression, sucker punch. best moveset i've ever used on golisopod. at the very least, use liquidation over razor shell. lmfao.
I think you mean Steel types >.> cuz outside of Spikes, Ghosts get affected just fine by Stealth Rock & Toxic Spikes (aside from the obvious Gengar line for Toxic Spikes). Steel Types, on the other hand, aren't affected by Toxic Spikes and laugh at Spikes & Stealth Rock >.> Then there's Flying types who are unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes but do take decent damage from Stealth Rock.
While that is an excellent point, they also can't learn the move. I guess if it came down to a Foretress setting up and a Ghost Pokemon ready to put it down, I'd give it to the Ghost Mon, BUT if Foretress gets three turns you now have toxic level toxic spikes & stealth rocks up >.>
Galvantula is both my favorite bug and electric type. That fact it has good speed stat and a ability that can Thunder a accuracy boost which is super handy. Plus it’s super adorable and badass looking.
In my opinion I think his nature he picked is fine more attack. Because come on mega Heracross is like sooooo slow why put jolly if it’s still probably get out sped But that’s just my opinion tell me why Jolly? I know he has sword dance and needs to set up but you can just predict your opponents movements why more attack like why? it’s base attack is like 400+ again this is no hate comment just tell me your opinion :D
Not bad, but I’d definitely run a priority move on Golispod, especially if you’re running choice band. If anything I’d replace drill run as rock slide can cover More of Golispods weakness than drill run can.
That golisopod set is good in theory, but I use golisopod a lot in its tier, and banded without priority will hardly ever get an attack off unless you force a switch. A priority focus (first impression, aqua jet, sucker punch) makes it a great revenge killer. Throw an AV on it and it becomes a decent tank too, or use life orb for the raw power. There’s no use for rock type moves on golisopod because any flying type you run into will outpace you and is very likely to take you to half with a brave bird. You’re better off chipping with priority, letting emergency exit swap you out, and then killing the bird with something else.
I really want to see a high level bug type gym in the latter half of a game. Imagine a bug type gym leader as the final gym. Would also be cool to see a dragon type gym be early on for once. Could be a low enough level that dragon rage would be a real threat, plus dragon resists all the starter's types too.
If a Dragon was early, I doubt GF would want Dragon Rage to be an actual threat, would be "too hard" for kids.. since to outlast it you just need more than 40 HP which.. is not a common thing at all in the early gyms, they'd probably invent some new weaker dragon move that can be given as TM after you beat the gym
Assault vest is a pretty good item. Definitely let’s it stay in longer, and can even help it win games, though the killing power choice band gives it may be more valuable, especially if you’re good at making heavy reads
What bothers me the most about this set is that there is no priority whatsoever. No First Impression, No Aqua Jet, and No Sucker Punch(Not a popular choice but still)?
This was my favourite best video, i mean i do wish that mega beedrill made the team. It is my fav bug type but this was a good video and every pokemon was well place, i love all the choices, yes even heracross, my least fav bug type.
One thing about Galvantula I find interesting is the improved moveset for Mixed attacking. Leech Life is now super viable on Galvantula to keep it alive for longer, combined with Giga Drain, the combination of these two recovery moves cover a nice portion of typings, allowing it to work against some of its weaknesses. Other coverage moves like Cross Poison and Throat Chop can deal with some very dangerous threats when used right. That 108 speed will allow it to outspend those threats very well. Now if only Galvantula had a better attack stat for that purpose. LOLZ!!!
That Mega Heracross set is almost exactly the same one that I run, except I invest in HP instead of Speed. Also, thank you for not running Explosion on Forretress. Explosion setup Forretress was the bane of my existence in Battle Revolution, and now I run it just to annoy people.
I liked the build you went with golisopod, but I'd switch out the choice band for something like that will increase accuracy of the moves you used that don't have 100 percent accuracy. And not being locked into one move will give you the option to give golisopod it's most powerful move, first impression which has a 90 base power which is pretty good, boosted by STAB, and has 100 percent accuracy. Other than that this was an awesome team and I'd definitely like to use it sometime.
I like it, but I would change a few things. The Forretress is as close to perfect as you can get, but I would set rocks before t. spikes on the off chance your opponent plays any flying or steel type. And Golisopod, keep leech life and rock slide, and give it aqua jet and first impression to try and overcome the lack of speed. And then give it an assault vest to help boost defenses.
@@Phoenix_Blader_93 I Mean That You Don't Have To Wait A Turn For Choice Band To Come Into Effect, It's Always Active Unless Knocked Off, Or If Someone Uses Magic Room
Hayden Miller it wouldn’t work cause it’s banded and first impression only works on the first turn in.once the first first impression hits, all the first impressions would fail
I chose Bug as my monotype in Pokemon Ultra Moon (I like to choose a type in each of the games with customisable characters). My team was: Shuckle Volcarona Pheremosa Mega Beedrill Vikavolt Araquanid It performed very well, even against other players.
Unpopular opinion. But honestly bug types are a super solid typing in my opinion. One of my favorite types to be honest next to ghost types. And not a ton of people like them. They’re super effective against grass, dark, and psychic which are all popular types and most of the evil teams have dark types so you have to fight them anyway. Yes they have 3 weaknesses with fire, rock, and flying but rock types have 5 weaknesses and grass types as well. And honestly again unpopular opinion but although dragon types stats are amazing I will say as far as super effectiveness they’re only effective against themselves and have 3 weaknesses with fairy, ice, and dragon. I never understood the dragon type obsession.
Bug type has weaknesses almost everytime I'm in a match so I rarely use bug types, but vespiquen has heal order which makes it hands down THE BEST BUG TYPE!!!!
I don't particularly like bug types, but this might be my favorite team so far. I love Heracross and Garvantula. That'll prob change when the best water type team comes out. Water is my favorite type
I think for forretress explosion would be better than either Normal spikes or toxic spikes, just so it can get some damage in, plus it would be pretty useless after getting all it’s hazards up and the other teams hazard setter is gone.
I use this move-set for Forretress on Showdown: Toxic Spikes, Rapid Spin, Stealth Rock, and Gyro Ball. Would this also work? I give it Gyro Ball because it hits hard if the user is slower than the opponent, and Forrestress is already pretty slow. Plus, against Ghost-types, I cannot use the one attack I have that just so happens to be a Normal-Type attack; I would need Gyro Ball. This also applies to maybe Ghost/Flying-types like Drifblim who won't get affected by the Toxic Spikes, just get hurt by Stealth Rock, and is immune to Rapid Spin.
Use thunder first, then sticky web whatever they were going to switch in to deal with your spider. If you have coverage, you can go for trying to ohko their new mon. If not, you can switch out with 1 HP and switch back in on pretty much anything you have coverage for with your speed and the web. If you web first, there is a better chance of them having something in that can survive your hits.
I definitely think araquanid is the better water bug choice. It's water bubble ability that makes it resist fire type combined with its great sp.def is just more helpful than golisopod choice band set.
Why for galvantula did you not have electro ball i used a galvantula in Pokemon sword and the whole time it had electro ball and sweeped because the power of electro is based off the Pokemon's speed and that things speed is outrageous
Mega Heracross just need sticky web support and you're all set well you gotta bring some mons to deal wit flying types or if you dont want webs trick room is always free
I would kind of prefer it if you didn't include legendaries, or did a alternate video where you do the hardest possible gym teams. It sounds like it wouldn't be much different, but you could change up the levels and number of pokemon to match several different parts of the game (like early game, mid game, and late game badges/gyms)
Golisopod with Assault vest, adamant nature and HP and Attack EVs with a move set of Aqua Jet, Sucker Punch, First Impression, and Leech Life/Liquidation will make it a BULKY defensive sweeper with its strong priority moves.
Hey, huge fan. Why not change pheromosa for buzzwole? I’m pretty sure it’s stronger, faster, and more defensive. Anyway, cool video, keep it up mystic.
I used to use only bug types in ORAS competitively and I was very successful. My team was as follows Forretress Galvantula Volcarona Heracross Scolipede Scizor That’s from what I remembered but I did change it a decent bit through the years
Man said 1030 attack after a swords dance - if that isn’t a broken Pokemon you may as well stick him and mega rayquaza on the underused smogon tier list
I agree with most of the team except with the Golisopod set. Liquidation is far superior to Razor Shell in damage and has perfect accuracy. Also, you should get some Priority since you are pretty slow, just to revenge kill something, if you don't want to go either First Impression or Sucker Punch, you still have Aqua Jet.

That's life! Oh, this is so hard! Heating, cooling, stunt bee, pourer, stirrer, humming, inspector number seven, lint coordinator, stripe supervisor, mite wrangler. Barry, what do you think I should... Barry? Barry! All right, we've got the sunflower patch in quadrant nine... What happened to you? Where are you? - I'm going out. - Out? Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz! Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz! Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz! Black and yellow! Hello! You ready for this, hot shot? Yeah. Yeah, bring it on. Wind, check. - Antennae, check. - Nectar pack, check. - Wings, check. - Stinger, check. Scared out of my shorts, check. OK, ladies, let's move it out! Pound those petunias, you striped stem-suckers! All of you, drain those flowers! Wow! I'm out! I can't believe I'm out! So blue. I feel so fast and free! Box kite! Wow! Flowers! This is Blue Leader. We have roses visual. Bring it around 30 degrees and hold. .
🙄🙄🙄🙄
You are a legend
he really used no priority moves on golisopod.... leech life, aqua jet, first impression, sucker punch. best moveset i've ever used on golisopod. at the very least, use liquidation over razor shell. lmfao.
Razor Shell has a greater chance to lower defense with only a little drop in power, more than making up for it.
Fortress:
Ghost types: Im about to end this mans whole career
I think you mean Steel types >.> cuz outside of Spikes, Ghosts get affected just fine by Stealth Rock & Toxic Spikes (aside from the obvious Gengar line for Toxic Spikes). Steel Types, on the other hand, aren't affected by Toxic Spikes and laugh at Spikes & Stealth Rock >.> Then there's Flying types who are unaffected by Spikes or Toxic Spikes but do take decent damage from Stealth Rock.
Daisy Rose Mostly cuz ghost types are good spin blockers
While that is an excellent point, they also can't learn the move. I guess if it came down to a Foretress setting up and a Ghost Pokemon ready to put it down, I'd give it to the Ghost Mon, BUT if Foretress gets three turns you now have toxic level toxic spikes & stealth rocks up >.>
Galvantula is both my favorite bug and electric type. That fact it has good speed stat and a ability that can Thunder a accuracy boost which is super handy. Plus it’s super adorable and badass looking.
If Weedle isn’t on this team I swear!
Biggy Bladda Boi if not i’m getting all my accounts to dislike
11:58 Wait I didnt know Golisopod has Razor Leaf!
It's Razor shell .... 🙃
@@mkdeku6493 My dude... it's a joke... since he said... razor leaf...
I’d do Jolly for Mega Heracross, since you’re running Swords Dance.
In my opinion I think his nature he picked is fine more attack. Because come on mega Heracross is like sooooo slow why put jolly if it’s still probably get out sped
But that’s just my opinion tell me why Jolly? I know he has sword dance and needs to set up but you can just predict your opponents movements why more attack like why? it’s base attack is like 400+ again this is no hate comment just tell me your opinion :D
I wish Ribombee was on the team. It is just such a nice Pokémon, though I get that it didn't really fit
Was recommended this video, and as a big fan of Bug Type Pokemon, I love this.
I use an Accelgor as a setuper with both Spikes and 2 healing moves and a couple other bugs with Quiver Dance, ending with G-max Butterfree
*Guzma liked this video*
This team: *exists*
Stealth rock bois: *is this a joke im too powerful to understand?*
The bug catcher in gen 1s final form
I'm over here with a whole team of Leafeons and Galvantulas 🤣🤣🤣
Not bad, but I’d definitely run a priority move on Golispod, especially if you’re running choice band. If anything I’d replace drill run as rock slide can cover More of Golispods weakness than drill run can.
As I enjoy having my teams with over all coverage for each game, it hasn't weakened my love for the bug type pokemon
I just caught a Joltik in Sword.. cant wait too evolve it
Alright time for the best bug team
Unova: You called?
Quiver dance is probably overkill, and focus blast might as well have a 30% chance of hitting yourself instead of the enemy.
Beast of a team tho.
I would love to get an updated version of this list. With all the new pokemon and balances I imagine there is probably a few changes
I like how you make the Pokémon look like they’re actually wearing the Choice Specs
my best bug pokemon: shuckle
-> sticky web
-> stealth rock
-> toxic
-> protect
-> item: leftover
->ablity: contrary
I Would Give Golisopod The Assault Vest
First encounter
Assault vest is a pretty good item. Definitely let’s it stay in longer, and can even help it win games, though the killing power choice band gives it may be more valuable, especially if you’re good at making heavy reads
Razor Shell over Liquidation? Idk about that.
What bothers me the most about this set is that there is no priority whatsoever. No First Impression, No Aqua Jet, and No Sucker Punch(Not a popular choice but still)?
My golisopod has first impression, surf, and blizzard. What should it's last move be?
@@hrathurahl8697 Take off Surf and Blizzard, his special stat is super low, go for Waterfall, Liquidation, Razor Shell or even Aqua Jet.
I guess for a possible defense drop. I mean I’d go with liquidation as well, but I’m no competitive expert in pokemon.
H'rathurahl Id say first impression, liquidation, sucker punch, drill run or rock slide
My team bug:
Heracross
*BITCHES*
Datboootytho
Mountain Mamma levanny I presume
This was my favourite best video, i mean i do wish that mega beedrill made the team. It is my fav bug type but this was a good video and every pokemon was well place, i love all the choices, yes even heracross, my least fav bug type.
11:59
Razor LEAF
What the F, mystic
ElVomininoXD410 probably missed it, chill out. Could’ve been tired, or just didn’t notice it during editing.
LOLZ!!!
Ribombee & Vikavolt:are we a joke to you
One of your best teams Yet
That Mega Heracross set is almost exactly the same one that I run, except I invest in HP instead of Speed. Also, thank you for not running Explosion on Forretress. Explosion setup Forretress was the bane of my existence in Battle Revolution, and now I run it just to annoy people.
Leah Santone wow, aren’t u a nice person
I liked the build you went with golisopod, but I'd switch out the choice band for something like that will increase accuracy of the moves you used that don't have 100 percent accuracy. And not being locked into one move will give you the option to give golisopod it's most powerful move, first impression which has a 90 base power which is pretty good, boosted by STAB, and has 100 percent accuracy. Other than that this was an awesome team and I'd definitely like to use it sometime.
Almost 400k, you deserve it:)
And then give it an assault vest to help boost defenses.
mega beedrill : i'm so strong
mega heracross : hold my beer
mega pinsir : hold my gun
The team I would use consisting of all Bug Type Pokémon would be
Vespiquen
Mothim
Escavalier
Dustox
Shuckle
Araquanid
Yeah! Shuckle!
...
Vespiquen? Dustox? Mothim?
Vespiquen is my favorite bug Pokémon.
yOu DoN't FuCkLe WiTh ShUcKlE (that's an L, not an I)
PK- Nexus Vespiquen is my favourite Bug Type Pokémon too. Mothim is a close second.
Can't wait for the Fighting-Type video!
Is there a reason not to put First Impression on Golisopod?
nope
Choice band/scarf u-turn genesect is so good. Iron head and some coverage moves
Ikr
Choice band doesn't activate untill 1 turn fully completes while the mon is still in battle. CB on uturn is useless

How is volcarona not on this
It's on the fire type team
I just want to point out you left of Golispod’s best attack. First impression! That is all, good video.
Hayden Miller it wouldn’t work cause it’s banded and first impression only works on the first turn in.once the first first impression hits, all the first impressions would fail
I feel like there should be like a 1 legendary cap on these teams to make it more interesting
Why is there no Volcarona?
Fire type team
What would be the best bug team if it didnt matter if he used pokemon for multiple teams?
I love bug types. My favorites are Golisopod, Vikavolt, Mega Beedrill, and Mega Scizor. Unfortunately, none of them are in SWSH... :(
Wimpod and grubbin are in sword and shield
Kinda sad Drapion lost his Bug type loved that hybrid scorpion
I chose Bug as my monotype in Pokemon Ultra Moon (I like to choose a type in each of the games with customisable characters). My team was:
Shuckle
Volcarona
Pheremosa
Mega Beedrill
Vikavolt
Araquanid
It performed very well, even against other players.
The big typing is my third favorite typing in Pokémon. With Shedinja being my favorite bug and one of my top 10 favorite Pokémon
Why razor shell on golisopod when liquidation exist ???
Why not techno blast for genesect?
He gave it a Choice Specs so Techno Blast would default to normal type.....
Is it me but did you say razor leaf or razor shell
Is there a reason why the team has no u-turn? I thought that a bug type team would have at least one u-turn.
6:15
Delibird: Imma head out
Golisopod with Assault vest, adamant nature and HP and Attack EVs with a move set of Aqua Jet, Sucker Punch, First Impression, and Leech Life/Liquidation will make it a BULKY defensive sweeper with its strong priority moves.
Finally, someone who appriciates the best type in the game.
Best type in the game??? While I do love bug type pokemon they are one of the weaker types in the seris
For skill link pokemon, wish arm thrust have more power 15 is just too weak power per hit for the multi hit attack making brick break an option.

I don’t like how there was a condom ad before this video started for me
The creators don’t control the ads
Focus sash on fermosa would be even greater especially when you have to set up with quiver dance
Love Golisopod, it's a tank. Glad it was in the thumbnail.
12:00 I think he said Razor leaf instead of Razor shell
I used to use only bug types in ORAS competitively and I was very successful. My team was as follows
Forretress
Galvantula
Volcarona
Heracross
Scolipede
Scizor
That’s from what I remembered but I did change it a decent bit through the years
Man said 1030 attack after a swords dance - if that isn’t a broken Pokemon you may as well stick him and mega rayquaza on the underused smogon tier list
in 11:58 he said razor leaf instead of razor shell
at first i was like: *Are you crazy no water moves?!*
In my opinion I think using mega beedrill instead of mega heracross because heracross with life orb and moxie is faster and could do more damage
George Bennett but Pinsir and scizor are better than both of them lmao
Man have banded scizor, scarfed heracross, mega pinsir.can take down most monos with just those three.took down a whole fairy team with my scizor
Ah yes, razor leaf Golisopod. My favourite stab move for it.
I love this cause bug type pokemon are my fav
Disappointed Mega Beedrill was snubbed but I understand your logic with Heracross
