    I'm not one to splurge on new tools, but you need a plasma cutter in a bad way. Awesome build! I just found your channel and will be following along.

      @@Finding_Our_Way I have been following you for a few days. Your video content quality is very good. But I noticed that, due to video optimization problems, the videos are not getting more views and subscribers. You need to fix it. Best wishes

    Did you use an fittings for the airlines ? And mount the tank on the bed? Is there a video yet . I saw it in your shorts

    Bubba all you had to do to get your bridge height is measure the height of the bed brace. They sit on the frame rail and are tack welded to the bed floor 🤣
    Also, you could’ve definitely went higher on your notch so that your axle had more clearance. Reklez’s under bed step notch is 2” between the top of the notch and the top of the bridge.
    Another thing, you could easily use a Tahoe fuel tank. They mount behind the axle where the original tire carrier goes.

      Good point, threw me off having different height to the mounts front vs rear. And this was once a long box frame i shortened. Easier for me to visualize it with a string, exspecially doing this extensive frame modification. Rather not mess it up. If i built another one, im certain i would do it a lot faster and cleaner. ✌️

      Didnt think of a tahoe fuel tank, but i did toss the idea of a fuel cell at the rear. Decided against it, as i dont want to change the fuel door. My diff is pretty close to the bed, havent tried to get a tape measurer in there yet, but not much lower it could go.
      And im trying to build this while fabricating all the metal myself vs buying kits. I enjoy the learning curve. I didnt study reckless ones or anyones. Making this up as i go along 😅

      @@Finding_Our_Way I completely understand bud! The truck looks killer with the colormatching and polished wheels. My personally, I’d paint the calipers white. So many people have black or red calipers. I think the white would look really good behind the polished wheels but would still stand out enough to tell it had the disc brake swap.

      @@thatrebelboy48 damn man. Thats actually a killer idea. I wonder if i could find a high temp paint in white. I already got the red caliper paint. But your right, it is overdone. Ill see what i can find 👍💯

    My truck is as clean as your but my paint is shitty af 😂 It’s lived in Nashville and Central Alabama it’s whole life so to very clean. No rust at all except the cab corners which is very strange since I can’t find any rust anywhere else. I have a 5/7 drop and thinking about doing bags and a manual swap at some point. I only say all this because your truck looks almost exactly like mine. its white and it gives me hope that I will eventually take the time to finish it.

      Right on man. They do look good in white. Bonus its not rusty, goodluck with your build!! They are fun to modify.

      @Finding_Our_Way  6 місяців тому

      Yes its definitely on my mind. I want to Tig a custom stainless setup. Im debating about LS swap, or turbo V6. I have a turbo and most components sitting on my shelf.
      That will be a next year decision anyways. 😁👍
