    Thanks for the video. I also have a vaccum depletion issue and hard pedal at idle. I checked the very same hose before watching the video and noticed the exact same looking crack. Thanks for including a how-to on checking the pump and booster. It is a good way to eliminate other potential issues while I'm in there replacing the hose.

    Bubba all you had to do to get your bridge height is measure the height of the bed brace. They sit on the frame rail and are tack welded to the bed floor 🤣 Also, you could’ve definitely went higher on your notch so that your axle had more clearance. Reklez’s under bed step notch is 2” between the top of the notch and the top of the bridge. Another thing, you could easily use a Tahoe fuel tank. They mount behind the axle where the original tire carrier goes.

    • @Finding_Our_Way
      @Finding_Our_Way 4 місяці тому

      Good point, threw me off having different height to the mounts front vs rear. And this was once a long box frame i shortened. Easier for me to visualize it with a string, exspecially doing this extensive frame modification. Rather not mess it up. If i built another one, im certain i would do it a lot faster and cleaner. ✌️

    • @Finding_Our_Way
      @Finding_Our_Way 4 місяці тому

      Didnt think of a tahoe fuel tank, but i did toss the idea of a fuel cell at the rear. Decided against it, as i dont want to change the fuel door. My diff is pretty close to the bed, havent tried to get a tape measurer in there yet, but not much lower it could go. And im trying to build this while fabricating all the metal myself vs buying kits. I enjoy the learning curve. I didnt study reckless ones or anyones. Making this up as i go along 😅

      The back sides i used double sided tape to hold it up, this didnt work great with time. I am going to add push tabs in and just find some black discrete ones to use. In the front, the visors hold it up very sturdy. And center rear the dome light does. Actually gluing them in under the fabric is a great idea, wish i thought of that when i started.

      Yes its definitely on my mind. I want to Tig a custom stainless setup. Im debating about LS swap, or turbo V6. I have a turbo and most components sitting on my shelf. That will be a next year decision anyways. 😁👍
