People probably think you’re exaggerating, but I have been working on this lately because I was getting a little crazy in the backswing. I feel like I’m not cocking my wrists at all and the club is pointing behind me like you showed here. I recorded my swing for your website and I was blown away to see my club pointed down the line almost at the target at the top. What a huge disconnect between feels and reals.
Get it right. Get it tight! Let's go!

Really good. More important than trying to create a “high hands” back swing. Staying wide also gives you time to get the downswing correct.

Hi from SW Michigan! I have been concentrating on dropping my hands a little bit and getting a wrist set for the backswing. All I have is a net but this was an eye opener! I don’t think I’ve ever had my chest facing away from the target. Thank you for another great lesson!!
