Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico all in one skit? Ben is really starting us off real well this year!
And I just love how Alaska and Hawaii aren't affected by the weather at all! 🤣
Where is South Dakota. At the South Dakotan I ask that we see who he is
Yeah it's so cool
Plus Ben and Greg
Also Mother Nature, God, J6C, Last Admin, Ben, Greg, Alex Jones, and the CDD all before the intro
I was laughing from the beginning but almost had an asthma attack when the CDC was shown as being left out. 😂😂
To be fair, CDC is probably enjoying the peace and quiet XD
@@tonicovington5072 true
CDC ran away, he wasnt left out
Poor Drew. I miss him.
The cdc saw the flu numbers and gave up 😂
Fun fact the fandom rejoiced hard at the return of Greg 😂
Ngl I smiled so wide seeing Greg again. He’s really under appreciated and need more fanfics about how the hell he got and kept this job
@@winterwonderland1491 OMG yes, for example the one for Halloween with the cryptid states is SO good seriously, hella scary and good writing !
I think Greg is a clone that just really loves holding boom mics and running electrical. Gets the insane eye twitch when cables are not properly secured and talks in short incomprehensible sentences filled with cursewords. He doesnt people well, but he is good at his job and knows it. Called job security. 😂
@@MyleneBlanc glad I ain’t the only one who read and enjoyed that fanfic 😊
Oooh? Ao3 or wattpad?
As a person who lives in Louisiana, at least to me, a gator pizza is a pizza with gator as a topping or an unsupervised child playing by the side of the canal.
That got dark real quick o.o
Omg Yes!!! From Texas and I felt New York was wrong but the unsupervised child is definitely an acceptable definition of gator pizza. Question: is that considered delivery at that point?
"pizza gator" != "gator pizza", but I'm lmao at the accuracy of your definitions for the latter
Born and raised, and you're right on both counts, though the kiddo is more totino's than anything.
@@samanthalowry7950 well, it ain't digiorno!
I would never have guessed Mother Nature would be brought back! It was so great to see her and Puerto Rico! He was rocking those glasses and we have sorely missed New York ready to choke out the other states mid meeting
Unfortunately I don't think it was the same mother nature
@buddermonger2000 I know but it looks like Liz has officially retired from mother nature on all platforms but this Mother Nature is just as good and Liz always supported all versions of Mother Nature
This is the Table Cinematic Universe mash-up I didn’t know I needed. CDC sealed the deal.
Can’t wait for Infinity War to see Supreme Court, Education and Canada again.
When did Canada come in?
@@buddermonger2000 near the beginning of the series, played by @kallmekris
Yeah, I need to see Dan Povenmire back in these things
I'm waiting for all the judges to come back.
The cold open was hilarious! All the cameos!! 😆😂
"Cold open"
Heh
@@TheOriginalJphyper "I see what you did there shaw." 😏🍹
Even if you didn't intend it, own the pun. It is worthy.
I love this so much😂😂 “I put all that hard work into this just for HER to get the credit.” God you are worried about the wrong thing.
Whoever it is that portrays Alex Jones in these skits does an incredible job
I wanna see Guam and American Samoa pop in and have even PR go “who are you?”
I've seen Kevin McCarthy lose 6 straight votes for Speaker of the House, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY TIME I SEE IT!"
Edit: 7, he's lost 7 times in a row. Congress is trapped in Groundhogs Day
Edit edit: NOPE, 10! 10 rounds in a row he's lost.
Edit edit edit: Round 11! Give it up for him losing Round 11!"
Nice use of Beetlejuice
15!
Which... I just found out pales in comparison to the record, it once took 133 rounds!
@@micahphilson Pretty sure Thunderdome would have broken out if the House was told they had to vote 118 more times
Lmao it is very funny to have him lose so many times
It is not as funny that he eventually won
I missed The Table so much. welcome back, hope you got plenty of rest from your tours
This is the perfect depiction of how news is so easily dismissed in modern culture
It's just drama
Here’s a fun fact that you could use. A large numbers of Texas’ cultural icons where either created in NJ or Philly. Texas Winers are from Paterson NJ, the Texas Colt Revolver is from Paterson NJ and is actually called the Colt Paterson, the ten gallon cowboy hat was first manufactured in Philly, and most early western and country music was also produced in Philly.
And Davy Crockett was from Tennessee (North Carolina at the time)
You are definitely from Philadelphia or New Jersey. No one else cares about Pennsylvania or calls it Philly. I have family in PA
@@PAHSerCuz it's definitely Philly. Philadelphia is too many letters
@@zacksefchick9535 I call it Philly and PA but it’s probably my Pennsylvanian blood speaking. Both parents from Pennsylvania
@@PAHSerCuz born & raised in Philly & everyone calls it Philly. Maybe check your facts before spouting off in total ignorance making yourself look stupid - love, Philly.
we got so much New York in this one!!! very happy about that. also, the truck comment from Texas was Perfect and so on point. I’m ecstatic to see the table back, but I hope your tours were wonderful and you rest up.
As a New Yorker, [speaks New York] is just *chef's kiss*. Also, New York would know about pizza-eating wildlife, as we are the home of the original Pizza Rat. And then there's the sewer gators, so he's got it correct: a pizza gator is a gator eating a pizza. As seen in New York.
New York is also home to a group of sewer-dwelling genetically-altered adolescent martial arts terrapins, who are quite famous for eating pizza, lol
The sunbelt weather complaints had me in stitches; we Washingtonians, along with the Alaskans, Oregonians, Midwesterners and New Englanders, are already getting out the popcorn and bingo sheets (though some of us keep losing power and I’ve had to clip the little cedar hedges in my parents’ garden to save them because of the wind that’s started hitting us AGAIN.)
That opening was full of awesome and win. I always love it when poor Puerto 🇵🇷 shows up.
Correction, a pizza gator is a pizza in the shape of a gator and it exists.
A local place here in New Orleans makes it around mardi gras as a parade spacial for groups. Toppings are gator and ham with red onions and yellow and green bell peppers and dessert is a whole chocolate stuffed king cake.
That all sounds pretty good.
Are you going to name drop the local joint?
Yes... The TCU (Table Cinematic Universe) intro is amazing.. We need more of it.!!
Such a chaotic opening- 100/100 I love it! Also Greg is back!!!
“I’ve been here for 30 seconds and they’re already complaining about the weather.” I _HOWLED_
Most excellent. The opening was especially good with the return of Hawaii. It'll be interesting next time when, hopefully, you'll cover some of California's new laws and try to make California defend them.
As Arizona eats popcorn
@@ADMICKEY With Texas and Florida as well, and maybe Nevada too.
Oh great, what did they do this time?
@@badpiggies988 Well, for starters, the decriminalized loitering for prostitution while prostitution is still illegal. That's one of the more sane ones. Google the others if you think your brain can handle the idiocy.
@@chrisnemec5644 Wait, the world’s oldest profession is still illegal in California of all states? And the more s*x-positive party has the ability to try and legalize it with practically a 100% chance of success?
Greg! It’s almost been 3 whole years
That cold open starting with Mother Nature saying it’s cold… So meta. *Chef’s kiss*💋 🤌 This sketch brought me so much joy!!
Am i crazy or was that qt Cinderella
@@Mastrivy Not sure; I know her as @liv.pearsall here on YT.
@@annbuccieri1267 oh then its a different person
Slow news week obviously, but that *glorious chaos* that makes waking up worthwhile!
Collab of the century... Nice.
I love and always loved how Hawaii apparently hates tourists but at the same time their short letters are Hi
Honestly, wasn’t expecting the amount of Collabs in this one 😂🤯
My new goal in life is to somehow work that big truck line into a conversation.
"I feel like I'm forgetting someone..."
Poor Drew! lmao
Out: Arguing over whether pineapple is a pizza topping
In: Arguing over whether gator is a pizza topping
How about gator with pineapple?
@@jessicashenefield1546 ... ... ...dammit now I actually want to try that...
I'm dying to know how you learned all those dialects so well cuz that Cajun one is spot on!
One, he grew up in Florida, where a large percentage of the USA goes to vacation or retire. Two, he served in the military where USA citizens from all over the country come together and live in close quarters and work together. Three, he became a stand up comedian, where in he traveled all over the country. Four, he researched and practiced it cause it's part of his stand up act.
@@Mojo_3.14 I think you are taking this to literally. I'm aware of all that but I've also studied accents and there's a cultural aspect to them as well. As someone with autism and ADHD I'm simply impressed because for me accents are hard!
@@derekzakari He does a very good job. ^_^
hearing new york kind of getting into the antics at the end was refreshing in a way
Achievement Unlocked: How Did We Get Here?
Ben has to ask this FAR too often in his life.
Do you have 90 minutes?
I think my favorite thing about this is the implication that government agencies like J6C and CDC have a uniform or dress alike.
Now I want a pizza in a shape of a gator😂
Now I just want pizza, though I'd pass if gator was the topping. 🤔😄
I've got a pizza cooking in the oven right now. Come on over! You bring the liquor...
THANK GOD THE TABLE IS BACK!!
2:18 ah yes the infamous giant truck that has truck nuts. Which probably has some truth to it
Liv! It's awesome to see her. Though I'm a little concerned that all the cameos make it feel like Endgame, which takes on a whole new meaning given how the world is trending
Looking forward to more Table news!✌😁
So many other people in the video! This was worth the wait!
Seems I'm not alone in being thrilled with so much NY in this one. 😁 This was SUCH a funny video and perfect for an opening video for the year! Well done, well done!
Just been rewatching older videos. I would love "chaos knows no sides" on a t shirt.
The week of Christmas we had a high of 32 and a low of 15 where I live in GA.. I mean, I loved it cause it reminded me of Alaska, but my colleagues hated it. I was the only person not wearing multiple layers and still had a short sleeve on.
As someone from GA, I always hope for snow so everything shuts down. Also I hate summertime, too hot.
Should have gone on for another hour with this one....
Alaska and Hawaii are great. Need to see more of them this year
Love it, miss the table news! ❤️
OMG, all of the guest stars! Even Lonnie Marts! So awesome!
Also, Gator on a pizza? I'd try that...
I love the idea, that Alaska and Hawaii are friends enough he's video chatting with her on a phone.
Ya I love it I hope one of these days we'll get a entire episode dedicated to there friendship.
Alaska and Hawaii are the relatede in the way that Florida and California are related.
@@jalapeno1119 explain?
Alaska and Hawaii *are* friends. They have a bond over being not-continental US, and also they both achieved statehood in 1959. Many Hawaiians and Alaskans consider each other brothers/bruddah/cuz (depending on your vernacular of choice.) And Alaska is kind of like an island into itself in a way.
Their weather might differ significantly, but they have a lot of similarities to each other.
As a Floridian, and an expert on all things pizza. NY is right, and a pizza with gator as a topping is a Gator Pizza, and it is delish.
In New York pizza is very serious business.
NY is always right about pizza
@@ccelizic In New York if you say Jersey has better pizza you get a mob hit put out on you.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how much work goes into making these, and how many shots however many people have to do. All for this 4 minute video
And this 4 minute video beats out most of the movies put out in the last 5 years or even longer.
the start was a flashbang and i loved every second
also my guess is that a pizza gator is a gator with pizza on it, like stegosaurus plates.
I love opening my UA-cam subscriptions and seeing a notification of a new video from you. As always I love the content.
What a way to start off a new year of table news
Glorious. Just glorious. It's gonna be a great year at the Table!
This was really fun. Thanks Ben!
This collaboration was so cool!! I was so happy seeing so many people in the skit, also Puerto Rico and Hawai’i in a skit is always awesowe!!!
I appreciate you, thank you for making content.
New York got even more snarky, that's new year spirit for you 💪
Thought of you yesterday when I saw a story out of Portland, OR about a guy getting his face chewed off in an attack. Obviously horrific, but that sort of thing should be coming outta FL.
Maybe they're a transplant from FL? or maybe they'd recently visited FL? Bad batch of meth?
Can we craft urban-lore saying FloridaMan can be similar to Valley Fever. It rarely goes home with folks, but occasionally a case will crop up after a tourist returns home.
Instead of a spore in Arizona dirt, we can say FloridaMan is from swamp gas? I might have to work this into my fictional town! 🤣
Well crap now I really want to try Alligator Pizza.
I might lose my Florida Man cred over this, but Gator is pretty overrated as a meat (even if you get it fresh). Just stick with chicken and you'd barely know the difference
@@Paidraig I just like trying different meats like in Aus I've tried Emu, Kangaroo and Crocodile.
I AM SO STUPIDLY EXCITED!!!
I keep hearing on the news the everywhere is cold and people are freezing and I’m over here on the border of Vermont and New Hampshire where it’s been in the mid thirties to low forties for the past month. It’s 35 F out rn.
This made my new year happy.
I loved the intro so much! :D
Happy new year! Can't wait to see what this year has in store for you and your channel! Wishing you all the best!💜
Yes! I've been waiting for this one!
Glad you're back!
CA I feel ya. This is every time I have ever tried to tell a story
these are getting so much better.
I feel like we're all Ben in the cold open: Staring at the chaos of the Spiraling Twenties, and having serious internal debates about diving into another year of it. ...Over a cup of coffee.
Good job Ben. You're getting funnier every new video. Keep it on
This series keeps me going.
That "big truck" "small penis" joke has me laughing like Jimmy Carr. I usually laugh different. This is confusing.
Oh lawd. Now I can't unhear your out-of-body laugh! It's like an insidious earworm!
I'm so glad with all of the cameos
I'm so glad
Canada called. We want the cold back. We don't know what to do when its above freezing during winter.
YESSSS!! I BEEN WAITIN FOR THISSSS!!!
Fantastic start to the year!
im so glad yo made a new one. i so missed these.
Ben you are the greatest. You deserve a show
Definitely worth re-watching!
This felt like a family reunion
That intro was EVERYTHING!! 😄😄😄
That intro was amazing!
I really want to see a video with like a... gameshow buzz-in format with the states
I'm glad the table is back. CA should have been wet though. It has been raining like crazy, at least here in NorCal.
Yayyyyyy!!!! Everyone's here!!! Happy new year to me!!!
Hahahaahahahahaha brilliant! This had me laughing so much! Poor CDC though...
That intro was a star studded with cameos! Amazing! 😆👏👏👏
I missed table news, glad to see it’s back
THIS IS AMAZING AND AS FUNNY AS ALWAYS
I just love these
That was so chaotic! Also, it's not cold in texas at all! It's like 70-80 F every day here! I am from Seattle though, so this might not be normal. But I love that you used Liv for mother nature. She fits that role really well.
It was 13° a couple weeks ago...
Welcome back!
Hope to see the CDC soon. 😁
As someone who attended Florida during the great temperature recession, I can attest to the Glare of Under 50
this episode was one of the best in a while! (and a nightmare to transcript)
That cold open must've been the most difficult thing to co-ordinate! I'm kind of worried that you'll blow your budget all on the first sketch
This was a hell of a ride
I missed you all so much!
This was epic!
