    • @AquaticGamZe
      @AquaticGamZe 2 роки тому +24

      He actually did put up really good stats his first few seasons I never understood why people don't think he did anymore. In his first year he had the 6th highest passer rating in his second season he was 6th in yards and lead the league in tds in his 3rd he was still top 10 statistically in his 4th he was one of five qbs to throw 25 tds and a 2-1 td int ratio "throwing 28" in his 5th he lead the league in yards and was 3rd in tds and in his 6th he was still top 10.
      Not a single season in those first 6 years was he not top 10 and in multiple seasons he was top 3, he wasn't godsend to start his career but he still had the stats that people act like weren't there. For example in our current last few years that would make him the Russell Wilson, he has the great MVP caliber seasons every few years and then he has those slumps where he's barely top 10, and I don't think anyone here is gonna say Wilson isn't putting up stats.
      People don't seem to realize that 2-1 td int ratio with 3500 yards back in the day was pretty fucking elite, nowadays guys like Baker throw that but a better comparision for what that was to todays game would be a qb throwing a 3-1 to 4500 yards and even that seems low.

      My opinion exactly!
      In the first half of his career, a case could be made that those first three SB wins had more to do with either how he played in Belichik's (sp?) system, as well as Adam Vinatieri's foot, than Brady's QB play; but, it wasn't really until his second decade as a player that he truly established his dominance not only at that position, but as a football player, period. Those SB wins really were his to claim as undisputably why the Patriots won those championships. His 2nd half performance against the Atlanta Falcons (down by three TDs+ at halftime), alone, is a monumental feat -- up there with the 2002 (?) Redsox rallying from three games down, and behind in the score in the sixth or seventh inning of game-4 of that season's ALCS against the Yankees, and not only win that game, but sweep the remaining three games before sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals in the MLB WS as an afterthought!
      Now, he's in his third decade as a starting QB in the NFL -- in a league where most players don't even see their third year as a player, starter or otherwise!!
