Epic. I was in that crowd. One of the best AC/DC performances I've ever witnessed.
So fucking jealous right now 😂
I’ve seen them 4 times all on the rock or bust tour, really hope this COVID lifts so I can see them again and with Phil behind the sticks, I love Chris but man Phill’s got the swing, you can really feel it on power up.
Then you’ll know that 75% of the audio from this concert was a studio overdub
@@zackstaa7826 and that masses of the crowd were leaving early. Metallica owned them that day.
If I had half the energy of Angus Young I’d be very happy. I realise he’s younger here but he is still doing this at age 65. 🎸🎸🎸 BTW, Donington is a town in England where they have a lot of music festivals.
i was 19 in 1986 the 80s kicked ass lol
I saw AC/DC at an inside venue. It was last minute so we were right at the back sitting down. When I went in I had a drink and when they started to play there was so much vibration in the air that my drink was jumping around madly in the glass.
Real musicians real talent real energy. Keep listening. You won't be disappointed. Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen. etc.
I just love watching you experience true rock royalty.jam on bro!
I was at this festival . I got to give it to Chris Slade , smashing those drums . One of the differences between Angus & Malcom is that Angus uses extra light strings & Malcom uses extra heavy .
B.B. King said, 'Why use heavy strings, when light does the job just as well".
@@royalway12 I use light strings . Super Slinky's
@@royalway12 Stevie Ray Vaughan used heavy strings to create his monster tone.
@@mookie7688 Nice.
The way angus and malcolm lock in on the solo part in jailbreak in this concert is epic as hell ,true well oiled rock and roll machine.
Glad to see you still rockin with my favorite band. Timeless, classic hard rock! Great concert, great performance! 🤟🎸
"Shoot to Thrill" is the perfect hard rock song. There were over 70k people at that concert. Check out their new stuff on the "Power Up" album. They still ROCK!!!
Have a Drink On Me is a lot of fun
Just googled this concert attendance 1.6 million, Damn!!
350,00 attended.
Wrong 72,500 was the final count that attended this gig in 91 my father and brother was at this gig.
1.6 million in their next concert in Moscow....
Oh my God I loved this!!!!!!!!! I've heard of them but never listened to nor seen a performance before. Loved the energy! Drummer was killing it!!!🔥 Love the title's play on words😁 if your Mr. Phillips saw this he'd probably laugh his ass off 🤣 😂
The whole concert Is dope 🤘🏻😎
"Shoot To Thrill, Play To Kill, To many woman to many pills. Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll.
Now we're middle aged its safe, sex, prescription drugs and classic rock and roll👌🏿👍🏽🎸🎷🥁🎹🎼
You really need to check out ACDC "Let There Be Rock" Live at Apollo Theater Glasgow, Scotland 1978. The energy is ridiculous!
True
You should listen to Shoot to thrill in River Plate (Argentina, December 2009).
"shoot you"! :-) I think this is my favorite tune of theirs! great reaction!
Some people say AC DC plays the same three chords, what they play is a 3 chord Chuck Berry Shuffle, its just hyped up R&B
I love this!!😂
I'm not sure but I think the numbers at Donnington were close to 100,000.
Thanks for your reacton. ACDC kick ass🔥👏.
Have a great weekend.
✌️❤️
I SAW AC DC IN CONCERT IN 1988, MY EARS WERE RINGING FOR A WEEK, I FUKIN LOVED IT//////////////////////////
Listen to shook me all night long
They lyrics to their songs read like rap lyrics to me. I'm not a fan of rap but when AC/DC does it, different story.
1:42 first person I've seen do a reaction to AC/DC that's picked up on the Chuck Berry influence.. 👍🏼
Love ya hombre. Great reaction!!!! 😍😍😍🎸🎸🎸🥳🍸
Thank you 🙏🏿
Since you started covering Acdc i've been following you. Great videos!!
100 thousand no fights just rocking it out
What was AC DC's biggest concert?
Monsters of Rock
Largest crowed was 1991 Moscow, as the headlining act. Attendance is unknown but believed to be well over one million people.
Just found you as a reactor. I really like your style I can only imagine how big your channel will get once you start getting into the big leagues of artists to react to. Let’s see you go down the rabbit hole of : Rush, Boston, Metallica, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, ZZTop, and so many more true rock/metal and Blues/Rock artists. Young man, you’ve got a long way to go.
AC/DC isn’t considered big? Greatest rock band of all time mate.
@@jackoman1097 sorry to confuse you. I should’ve started my sentence with ..”IN ADDITION TO AC/DC”
They are still going!
It isn't clear how many people were there, some accounts have it as low as 350000, some say 1.6 million. Huge crowd in any case.
Bro, that's WAY more than 50-60k. That's nearly half a million.
Hell yeah one of my top favs...Thanks. Enjoy. Donnington is a race track in England...Big Rock shows held there.
You described that perfectly man ⚡️
My fav dc song ever!!
Their Back in Black at this concert is FIRE
Go ahead, Mr. Phillips!
S/o Mr. Phillips 😂😂
great vid man,good communicatiary
My favorite by them!
The presentation is very critical. You play that song at every venue. They may play 2 sets a day and never play the same place twice: so, although they have performed that song twice a day three days a week for a solid year the crowd wants to see you just rocking it out like you haven't played it for at least a year. In order to do this sell job perfectly they need to use specific addictive damaging drugs in their system. Since they are on the move all the time all they know are the other band members and
the setup and tear down crews. Deep within they are very unhappy and lonely people. It's impossible to be themselves around the fans. They are not anything alike and on vastly different wavelength. It's truly a nightmare being enslaved by something
Either the instrument or the drug that made it all possible. That lifestyle is harder than it looks.
I was at all the tours they did starting off with the Highway To Hell tour through this one. Not to mention the live at River Plate is my fav ⚽ team 🤙
Hey Guitar man 😀❤️✌️🌼
Great reaction! I just signed up!
Check out High Voltage from this same concert! You will love that one! Its one of my favorites!
"AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young"
my dude...just sub'd. great thoughts you have! i was born in '64, lived and breathed ac/dc. this concert is from 1991, 18 years into the band....LMAO. who can kill it like that 18 years into their career? FKN AC/DC, that's who.
Mr Phillips would be Chris Slade the replacement of Phill Rudd at the time.
Angus doesn't drink or do drugs. He drinks hot tea and chocolate milk. Truth!!! The other members may drink a small amount but they don't live the lifestyle they sing about.
You need to react to,AC/DC -JAILBREAK ,Live AT Donigton (Official Music Video)
I was there :)
There 1.6 million people there
.
Thunderstruck original video dude, total energy over load 🤘😝🤘⚡⚡⚡⚡
Chris Slade on drums, best drummer they ever had
Yeah so good he could't keep the seat lol
Phil Rudd just as good though
@@jackoman1097 Phil Rudd streets Chris
sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. lol. The strongest thing Angus Young drinks is tea. Absolute legends.
Probably over 100,000
Watch the next AC/DC live video and pay attention to the unassuming other guitarist in the background. The late great Malcolm Young generally regarded as the best rhythm guitarist in rock history.
Burns through a plectrum every song.
Keep this in mind while listening to ACDC if ever hear them talking about guns or guns shooting or whatever......they ain’t talking about guns you buy from a store....more errmmm the weapon you’re born with 😜
bro there is 1.6 million crowd not just 50k
The river plate concert videos are good but the videos from this concert.. Are the more similar to the original song.... Example... The voice here is amazing... In 2009 you feel that begin to be difficult to do this voice... Also Angus performance here is perfect... In 2009 when you know by heart the notes you listen some missing notes....
1.5 million people
Donnington is in England some where
If you like AC/DC, you should look into Iron Maiden. Start with 'Number of the Beast' 'Hallowed be they Name' and 'Wasted Years.' You'll be hooked.
Mr. Phillip😭😭😭
S/o to Mr Phillips 😂
@@BroadbandJosea drummer chris slade
72,500....
Carrot top? I first thought the girl had a Pom Pom. Lol 😝
You need too react too Heat Seeker and Big Gun
Im glad i went to my share of concerts in the past because we will never see them again because of covid. especially this size of a crowd. hope im wrong.
Here is a list that you should try:
-Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate
-Let There be Rock (official video) or Live at Apollo Theatre
-Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate)
-TNT (Live at River Plate)
-Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre
- The Jack Live at River Plate
- Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll)
Just wondering if you have done any of their vids with the original lead singer Bon Scott. I have asked in another video if you could PLEASE react to "Let There Be Rock" LIVE at the Apollo in Glasgow from plug me in... You will go crazy with that one.. Angus Young was so in the zone, he literally looked like he was possessed! AMAZING! PLEASE react to it.
You have to check out back in black it’s one of there best song’s

@@BroadbandJosea check out, the jack live from river plate if u want to see one of Angus better guitar solos on of the longer ones there all good song
You need to check out young Angus. Something like bad boy boogie live .
You should try iron man version of shoot to thrill acdc
This was the theme song to Iron Man
lol i told ya
Try acdc down payment blues
The lead guitar, the vocalist and the bassist have never touch drug or anything. The other two on the other hand have done some stuff
😀👍❤️✌️🌼
Actually these guys, specially Brian, Angus and Malcolm were not known for drugs at all, Brian is a cigarette smoker as Angus is as well, Malcolm was more of a drinker but all very much family men, so is the bass player Cliff Williams family guys married to their wives for a loooong time compadre. These guys are hard rocking family guys. Phill Ruud was a bit more crazy.though. Old timer playing the drums as he has a cigarette in his mouth
While you're right about Brian and Angus, unfortunately Malcolm did enjoy heroin. There is an early song of theirs called Gone Shootin'. It ain't about guns, but it is rumoured to be about Malcolm...
This song is about the time when women, particularly stay at home mums who relied on "Mothers little helper." Pills to help them stay calm & happy. All over Britain, Europe, & other parts of the world, whacked out women sprawled out on their lounges watching shit TV, hoping to cope with what their shitty husbands threw at them. Crazy. I guess it's all up to individual interpretation. Great song though.
Jailbreak from the same concert
Try fire guns please best out right now please
1993 300.000
Seems like after the 90s music went down hill
