I have a very simple view... When the life force leaves the body of a sentient being, the body immediately starts to break down...literally begins to rot. How can this dead and rotting flesh have any nutrients?
@ Yes, fresh is best. This brings up a very good point re meat. ... the flesh is injected with dye and other dangerous chemicals to stop the quick rotting and also to make it palatable, no one wants to see or buy black flesh . By the time that meat ends up on the table, weeks have gone by. I read some years ago that the red dye injected into meat was banned from baby food. Just as bad for adults. But most of all and my reason for choosing plant based is that I do not have the right to take the life of a sentient being.
I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar or oil and low salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, sprouted flourless grain bread, rice, oats, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.
@11:00 Just wanted to add that this entirely explains why meat eaters have an inflamed look to them. Over the years, as they get into their 30's, 40's, etc. they all look "thick" or inflamed around their heads/faces and their entire body regardless of if they workout or not. You can tell almost immediately if someone eats a lot of meat, it's a long-term effect, but it's not "old age", it's purely that you're treating your body poorly for decades and overtime it starts to reveal itself. The most obvious/direct form of this is arthritis in the fingers/joints, which is literally just inflammation being caused by lifestyle/environment.
Exactly. Meat is a slow kill. I'm a vegetarian in my late 60s and have the bloodwork of people in their twenties. People think I'm in my late 40s or early 50s. I feel great on no medication. Carnivores are the unhealthiest people I know.

"The findings from this trial suggest that a healthy plant-based diet offers a significant protective cardiometabolic advantage compared with a healthy omnivorous diet," the study's authors wrote. I would love to see whose money is behind some of these carnivore influencers. Here's an anecdote for you. I am the only one in my immediate family not to get type 2 diabetes. Also got my fibromyalgia under control (along with trauma therapy). There was a study at San Diago university that said more than 20% animal fat leads to cancer. But they went out for steak after. Cognitive dissonance is crazy.
There are no long term studies for carnivore diets minus the processed foods. Unfortunately, it will take decades of data collection to determine the status of carnivore. What we do know is that plant based diets are better for all cause mortality, but we don't have data for carnivore. Today, it's a gamble to go carnivore, but it's not valid to conclude that carnivore is bad until the data is documented. We can predict what happens to most things that go into the body, it's not always what we think. I think it's too early to predict carnivore outcomes, but staying plant based is a safe bet.
The trouble is that given what we know, long term studies where subjects ate a carnivore diet would be unethical, because you’d be deliberately causing harm to the participants.
They have studied populations like the Inuit and seen significantly higher rates of all-cause mortality and lower life expectancy compared to surrounding populations that have increased plant consumption. From this you could probably infer that a carnivore style diet would be a risk long term, but like anything you can't say for sure I guess.
@ I know there were similar studies on early mortality amongst forestry workers in North Karelia, Finland, which led to the creation of the so-called Nordic Diet.

@dachsrottweiler How to Live to 100: eat pork “Pork is interesting. It’s an anomaly and I would not have guessed it, but I can’t deny it. One Okinawan scientist studied this. His theory, and I’m not sure I agree with it completely, is that because pig is the most genetically similar to humans, there’s something in the pork protein that helps repair arterial damage. What he cites is that in America we die of heart disease and the Japanese tend to die of strokes, but in Okinawa they have fewer strokes. This is part of the reason they live longer. The doctor theorizes that it’s because they eat more pork than any other prefecture of Japan, and pork protein serves almost as caulking.” Dan Buettner
I am a vegan and I struggle with strong allergies. It would be easier for me to consume meat, not gonna lie, no IgE symptoms whatsoever. I am most of the time on a very constrictive diet if I do not want to have gut issues, bad dermatitis, breathing issues or general MCAS or allergy flares. As I think veganism is the best solution for the environment and ethically superior and also the healthiest diet out there (and my blood counts are exceptionally good better than my peers), the point that allergies can restrict your veganism is for some of us with high IgEs against pollen etc. a LEGIT POINT. But I know I am an outlier and a sicker person with fucked up genetics compared to the average citizen, and I agree that for them this diet should be EASY, the biggest issue is the hedonism and cultural & collective pressure/bias, let's be honest meaty dishes taste good. I cannot personally eat high amounts of soy, lentils, peas or pea protein, fruits, chocolate, nuts or seeds without serious issues and negative general symptoms (itching, allergic asthma etc. you name it). I am also sensitive to glutein and do not tolerate milk protein (especially casein) well. I am constantly on a heavy dose of anthistamines, C-vitamin, quercetine, asthma medication and consume mostly rise, oat, corn, cooked carrots, broccoli and cauliflower, frozen berries, beans, table sugar, salt, (2g of cocoa per day) and avoid heavy amounts of spices. I am an athlete and eat for performance and health but it is a very restrictive and ascetic diet athat not many of the common folks could handle. I have been used to it dictated by necessity and I also am a person willing to make sacrifices for the greater good. But my life would be easier if I consumet meat, I use heavy amounts of rice protein to fill my high protein needs that is usually well-tolerated. I also eat minimally fats and as many carbs as possible to support my sports and muscle building endeavors. So the point that some of the carnitards or omnivores are making about allergies are true for a High-IgE person. This is an anecdote and I am aware that I am an outlier, but this is a reality I have to live with on a daily basis.
If this was true, then why are not the carnivores dying left and right? Show me any carnivore who has died as a direct result of going carnivore. Show me any carnivore who has suffered health problems as a direct result of just eating meat, animal fats, and eggs.

10yr ago. I struggle with weight lose, pain, bad breath. I ran into a Dr. That was plant base. He educated me on plants power. I took on plant base diet that completely changed my life. Cook plants for 8yr and 2yr raw plant. I feel better then ever.
Did he really just say anecdotal evidence is more relevant than scientific studies? what a clown....how can anyone take him seriously?
it is what they want to hear and not necessarily the truth!
Much more relevant to a vast number of people because it’s not as corrupt or biased. Plus humans are carnivores physiologically so he already has a winning argument.
@@camkennison2279 Anecdotes aren't biased??? You guys are hilarious 😂😂😂😂
@@Hikari7775 Anecdotes are personal reports, so no they are not automatically biased - it's people sharing their results. Just because it's not within the context of a scientific study in a lab somewhere, it doesn't mean it's not valid - and when it's people sharing the good and bad within a community of people looking for health solutions, no big industry is paying each of them for their shared accounts. I'm not sure why it's hilarious to you, but I've read that if you don't have animal protein for long enough it impairs brain function, and also causes anxiety and general irritability - perhaps your need to bang on punctuation keys repeatedly and find simple concepts funny is related to that.
@@s.figuur Of course personal anecdotes are biased, there is no adjustments, no peer reviews, no control group. We have no idea what these people were really eating before or what they are eating right now, no idea of their actual blood work, etc. If someone smokes 2 packs a day and claims to be perfectly healthy after decades of doing so, do you conclude that smoking is healthy? You need to learn about the hierarchy of evidence mate, anecdotes are at the very bottom for a reason.
And your claims about the consequences of not having animal proteins are complete BS, and you also do not provide evidence for them.
That guy should make a tv show where he's a carnivore detective and the killer is always a plant.

"hmm, just as I suspected..."
I have a very simple view...
When the life force leaves the body of a sentient being, the body immediately starts to break down...literally begins to rot.
How can this dead and rotting flesh have any nutrients?
I feel like that's true of plants too though. They start rotting the second you disconnect them from the stem, but they still have nutrients.
@@Master_Roach What!? Grains? Rice? Lentils? Carrots? Etc. They don't rot.
Minerals stay with food no matter what.
@@MsCValentiner yes all of those foods will eventually rot even if stored properly. I've had plenty of rotten carrots in my own fridge.

Excellent news George!
I started listening to that debate and the carnivore guy seemed so full of it that I couldn't even listen to the rest!! Admittedly I am a big fan of Simon Hill and I eat a mainly plant-based diet which fuels my workouts and for me is definitely the healthiest!!!

Dairy consumption increases breast cancer.
Dairy is full of the hormone estradiol because the dairy cow is milked while it is pregnant and it has been measured in the milk. The 7th day Adventists are often studied because they are health conscious, don’t drink alcohol or smoke, and eagerly participate in studies. ADVENTIST HEALTH STUDY 2 showed the more milk the Adventists consumed the higher the breast cancer. This study was confirmed by a study in China, CHINA KADOORIE BIOBANK STUDY. The Conclusion: The more dairy you consume the higher your breast cancer risk. ¼ cup/day of milk increases breast cancer risk by 17%.

The BROAD study is a study of the Whole Food plant based diet: A randomized controlled trial (The Gold Standard of Studies) The WFPB group had a self-reported increased quality of life; they decreased their medication, blood glucose and cholesterol. The plant-based group had left the 3-month study 19 pounds lighter, but at 6 months were down about 27 lbs. No mandated exercise or calorie counting was implemented.
So the animals he eats, eat plants. Isn’t he afraid of the so called “plant toxins” in the meat?
I’d like to see his daily diet. If he’s transparent and willing to show his blood work and other vitals in five years, he may be in for a big surprise.

22 sets of twins tried both vegan and meat diets. Researchers at Stanford University studied the twins' cardiovascular health. After eight weeks following their respective diets, the twin siblings who ate a vegan diet had lost more weight, reduced their LDL, or "bad" cholesterol, and experienced lower insulin levels, according to the study's findings. "The findings from this trial suggest that a healthy plant-based diet offers a significant protective cardiometabolic advantage compared with a healthy omnivorous diet," the study's authors wrote. The study, published Nov. 30 in the journal JAMA Network Open.

More than just LDL: On the carnivore diet you are going to experience low energy after eating. You are going to experience constipation because you are not eating any fiber. Your insulin level will be nearly double on the carnivore diet. Cortisol level is a measure of how stressed the body is and it will go up on the carnivore diet. IGF-1 is a measure of cancer risk; IGF-1 will increase on the carnivore diet. C reactive protein is a measure of inflammation in the body; C reactive protein will increase on the carnivore diet.
All vegans arr unhealthy. Over 79% of them quit due to health issues. Meat eaters live far longer than vegans
@ I know there were similar studies on early mortality amongst forestry workers in North Karelia, Finland, which led to the creation of the so-called Nordic Diet.

Peace for all of humanity begins on our plate ~VEGAN~
1:37 Excessive protein breaks down into sugar too. We can not live without sugar.
