That won't happen, Counter Strike Condition Zero was the last time they tried to innovate with a ton of stuff (unfortunately that didn't make it either, it was left on the campaign though). And when they tried again to innovate with new weapons, the community (specifically the pros) cried and whined about "balance", and this was the main thing that held Counter Strike back since the beginning. This is why many maps have been removed or not included because of "balance", same goes for weapons (why bother with other weapons when it's just AK-47s and M4A1s) A long time ago Counter Strike had an identity, a theme, a setting. That being about counter terrorists and terrorists fighting around the world just like in Rainbow Six. But when Valve focused in the competitive scene, Counter Strike has forever lost that identity (Rainbow Six would suffer the same fate)

Now it’s abandoned though, and now they are developing deadlock that’s the same old 5v5 hero competitive shooter. I wish we got something like a mix between tf2 and cs kind of game, where the game is fun and has a lot of ways to be played but not straight up goofy with cartoonish graphics and shining hats

The franchise became a sweatfest all about some tryhards nerds trying to outcompete each other with their stupid m4a1s and ak47s and thirst over their stupid silly pink skins. Skins in Cs 1.6 and source were actual skins that changed animations and entirely diferent gun models that you can download for free from gamebanana and moddb,there was no need to fill Gaben's already deep pockets by bying skins that all look the same(just different colors) with even more money so he can sit on his fat ass all day and play dota and not make any more half-life games. Not only Counter strike became shit but Half-life died because of Csgo,wish that game never existed... Valve will never be who they are without Half-Life!!!

I tried it, it is very good, need some polish here and there but overall a very good experience. The bot voices are the normal french ones, the rifle that replace the AUG is weirdly out of place because it mimics no real weapon I imagine and sometimes bots struggles to move on the maps with the hostages but hey they didn"t really moved very well in vanilla either ! But yeah 7/10 will play again, keep up the good work !!!
"To be honest, that's a great mod! After testing it, I can confidently say that the GoldSrc engine allows for adding a lot of awesome features to your mod. Plus, AMX Mod X is a great tool to help with scripting. You might want to update the maps to support at least 32 players, as some players currently respawn and die instantly because there's nowhere for them to go. Also, you can change every text related to CS 1.6 or CZ, as well as the character images. Using edited screenshots from the maps (like they did in CS 1.6) is a great approach. Make sure to follow the correct resolutions so everything fits perfectly. Also, don't forget to include gibs when players die from grenades, just like it was in Opposing Force. You might want to remove or replace the radio speech with lines from Opposing Force, as it has a lot of great voice lines, or from Half-Life and its sub-mods like Black Ops. For the weapon V models, using military-style arms for CT weapons and black ops arms for T weapons would make them look even better. Lastly, the maps inspired by Black Mesa are fantastic-I hope you create more like them. Good luck!"
i would replace the pump action shot gun with the half life one, beacuse its not the spas we know its a completly diffrent weapon in the half life universe, and i would replace the assault shotgun with the usas-12, beacuse it just fits
