I grew up on a sailboat and this is the best video I’ve found online that bring such a relaxing nostalgic feeling. Too often the harbor sounds are in the daytime with birds and daytime sounds that don’t fit a nighttime harbor experience. I greatly appreciate this upload. ❤️
I have a sailboat that I sleep on many times a summer and I love hearing the sounds of the halyards clanking against the mast. I have trouble falling asleep at night and this helps me soooo much!!! Thank you! I can imagine the waves lapping at the boat and rocking me to sleep. Thanks!!!
There is another one hour submission of the Corpus Christi Marina in 30 mph wind. As I had a slip of my own there for my Cal 27, and four more for our brokerage or store boats. I spent a lot of days and nights there, so it is great sound effects to fall asleep to.
wife and I sail out of New Buffalo michigan, and if there was that much clanking, there would be a problem, one day last year I forgot to put the wrap on my main sheet halyard (to the shroud) arrived next day to find a cord around the halyard and shroud and a note from the staff of marina, we have many over-nighters and they will not put up with the noise (darn power boaters -LOL) wife and I love the clanking but there are those that don't.May your sail always be full and the sun on your back
Yeah I dont even know why I clicked this. I hear this outside of my window every night anyways. Though personally it drives me nuts sometimes. Especially when its windy

Wow! I used to go out to this very marina at night years ago, and I’ve looked for a sound like this forever! I’ll never forget it! THANKS!
I rarely get the chance to hear real sailboats. Its a lovely sound. Thank you for sharing :-)
Love this sound best in all the natural sounds I found on UA-cam.
Thanks a lot!

"The winds in the wire made a tattletale sound as the waves turned the minutes to hours"
Love it!!! Thank you.
My favorite sound reminds me of my childhood!
Same here!!! Looked everywhere. I loved hearing this as id rock to bed in the V-berth of the “Mangareva”

This is the best one on youtube. Those chimes with gently waves really bring me back to my eailest memories.
Oh so wonderful. Makes for great ambience in music.
Memories of weekends past...thanks!
Thank you I have a hard time sleeping when I'm away from the water at my grandma's house. now I can sleep all the time
Seagulls are missing though.
Grew up next to a dry dock. That sound is pure music, especially at night in the dead of winter.
Very Nice Duke..!!
Happy New Year my friend! =)
This sounds more like wind chimes than sailboat masts and rigging
I've always been mesmerized by the sound of the ropes against the masts and wanted to record them. You did an awesome job! Love this!

I don't know how anyone could sleep with all that racket.

very relaxing
bookmark bookmark thank you THD
Thanks SeabeeMike. AND yes it was probably a stinkpoter that wrote the note.
Beautiful, so reeeeelaxing! It would help me the most if I was on one of those boats! :)
could anyone do a video of the sail ropes cutting the wind? the sounds makes my tinnitus vanish.
i can hear the noise on this video, but the other noises dampen it down :(
I need a sailboat
it's like the zombies from minecraft!
I love this vid...Thanks!!! Can you tell us what camera and vid software you use?
@FreezeDrums dammit, i missed again xD
Do you have any sounds of arctic terns?
@CDA441 Skeletons, not zombies.
Too realistic.... I am getting seasick...
@davi721 Its probably a loop lol
31:24 i love that part
If you've ever been anchored in 70 knot winds, that sound would give you PTSD. Sleeping is the last thing I'd be doing.
Does anyone have a less windy one? They ding dong too fast. Not relaxing enough.
sounded pretty noisy to me
I hope that you are aware that people are stealing your videos all over UA-cam?
This noise look like a cow's bells noise... ^^
lol who the fuck films this for an hour?
