But it doesnt mean God loves these girls any less. The criminal guy followed his evil desires and did harm. Yes, it is true, evil exists in this fallen world of ours. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But the good news is that God became man to die for our sins. God in the person of the Lord Jesus, died a violent death, even though he was innocent. God showed his triumph over sin on the cross. His love and mercy and justice were displayed at Calvary. If we truly believe in what he has done for us and accept Jesus in our hearts as Savior from our sins, it is then that we have victory over evil. I dont know why that dog was sent to me. God in his sovereignty knows why.

      @daleproctor3723 3 роки тому

      @@bunnylady6758 Hi Bunny- While it’s nice to think that your god was “loving” towards you & allegedly saved you from being victimized that night, by extension one has to consider the implications of that claim considering how many people never had that benefit. Any decent person would try & stop harm from happening if they are in a position to do so. In the case of your god he is supposedly all-powerful god & could very easily intervene & save some people from being harmed if he wanted to. He has supposedly even done so if you can believe stories like yours. If one hasn’t let blind faith hinder their critical thinking skills you can’t help but to conclude that either this god’s character is not very good or that he doesn’t exist. It’s nice to hear that you went unharmed that time but for the reasons stated I don’t find it to be a very compelling. There have been billions of people on this planet. Some skate through life just fine. Some such as yourself have close calls. Others sadly are unfortunate. There are no reasons for it. It’s just the things that happen to people. Thinking the Lord works in mysterious ways is just a cop-out that people resort to when their beliefs don’t conform with reality. As for the rest of what you wrote, it just reminds me the meme that goes around social media: Jesus is knocking on a door. The inside voice says “Who’s there?”
      “It’s Jesus, let me in.”
      “Why?”
      “So that I can save you.”
      “Save me from what?
      “From what I’m going to do to you if you don’t let me in.”
      In any event, have safe travels for your journey ahead.

      @@daleproctor3723 Im sorry my reply did not satisfy you. I am happy I was able to share my faith with you. I, myself havent experienced these tragic events. But you know what, some of my fellow believers did. I dont know if you know about the case of shari smith. She didnt receive deliverance when she was captured and killed. I know of a girl whose father was a pastor and was raped by men who invaded her home, while her parents were out on a Bible study. Missionaries were killed by natives who were trying to share the Gospel with them. Believers in the Lord Jesus, were torn asunder, cut in half, crucified upside down, fed to lions....but you know what, their faith in God blossomed because of these adversaries. The believers grew in number. The church of the Lord Jesus is watered with the blood of His saints. This is the kind of faith I believe in. Jesus, himself, died a very violent death, when he could have called legions of angels to save him from the Roman soldiers. Shari wrote her last will and testament, declaring her love for God and her family. Faith is not the absence of suffering or trials. God is God in good times and bad times. Right now we are in the grace period. God extends his love and mercy to mankind. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but will have everlasting life." But after this grace period is over, the Bible says there will be a Great Tribulation, when God will exact justice. I am nothing without God. He is my all in all. He gives me hope of eternal life with him, where death and suffering is no more. Where he will wipe the tears from my eyes and I shall see my believing parents once again, loved ones I have lost in Jesus. God loves you my friend, even if you dont believe in him. For while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. I dont want to force my faith to you. You have the choice to believe or not, but I plead with you not to harden your heart. God loves you and so do I. Stay safe.

    A lot of people in the comments blaming the people who were murdered or attacked by a serial killer. Disgusting. Just to remind you, the man who killed and raped women is the bad guy here, not the teenager walking to the shops at night.

    What kind of boyfriend leaves his girlfriend with two guys and just one other girl! He should’ve stayed there until she was ready to go home!

      NO NO NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! You've got that all wrong!! What kind of girlfriend stays to party with people she barely knows instead of going home with her boyfriend/fiance'??? Furthermore, had he stayed, they could have both been killed as we've also known depraved individuals to take out whom is deemed a threat to them first. She should've gone HOME with HER MAN ... particularly because they were with bad company (though unbeknownst to them or not)!!! I'll even venture to state that her boyfriend must have been in the habit of giving her her way, while the average guy would NOT go for his girlfriend staying anywhere with other guys!!! My God... it was 4 in the morning!!! Shame on your take! IJS

    So Skinner sees someone/something pushing from the trunk, then O’Neal runs off and he doesn’t think to call the cops? Really?
