I served in the U.S. Army. While on long missions, we would put the dry coffee grounds in our lip and let the caffeine wake us up that way. Bit of a pick me up
Good to see you out in the Forest again. I wonder if maybe the water wasn't hot enough to desolve the creamer. But I'm surprised they didn't add a tea bag. Oh well can't have it all I guess. Thanks for doing this review.
Welcome back home, Andy. Glad to see you safely back. 👍 I don't know why they would put the Nutella spread in that MRE instead of a cheese spread. It would go better with the veg crackers and the spaghetti. Weird. The company who made your MRE is not far from me.
Cool MRE review Andy. Glad you feel much better after your Sweden trip. I was waiting for a part 3 from you but I noticed you were already the co-star on Simon's Channel. lol...I liked the trail mix that you made out the most here. haha...
Brilliant video of the MCW Ration field Test the spaghetti with meat sauce looks delicious the coffee looked strange see you on the next video take care
Welcome back to the UK Andy, that's a nice quiet little spot you've got there. The spaghetti looked a bit sloppy even with you putting less water in than recommended, and that creamer was just nasty. I've found a few non dairy ones that split in boiling water which isn't helpful. Thanks for the review.
I was bummed for you when I saw the Veg Crackers and the Chocolate Peanut butter. That Chocolate Peanut butter is awesome, but I don't know about on a Veg Cracker.
OMG lol I turned my head away from the screen for a couple of seconds and when I looked back I thought, why has he got a load of worms over his crackers, lol sorry that what it looked like, I realised it was the peanut butter stuff lol lol lol
I like MRE reviews and collecting them. Shipping from US is ridiculous to Australia but. It would be much more reasonable to UK wouldn't it? Thanks for the review Andy.
It's about the same. To send one of those rations to the UK is $57.00 for 6 to 10 days delivery time or $24.00 for 21 or more days. Australia is $55.35 6-10 days and $23.50 for 21 days
Love the mre uploads Andy enjoyed this one thanks again pall stay safe and look forward to the next one cheers. Oh nearly forgot that first bit when the fire took looked like it nearly singed the beard 😂
Nice to see you back on UK soil mate, loved watching the Sweden trip. Such a shame a day got wasted to illness. Thats the way she goes sometimes though I suppose. Another great MRE review. How about you start a series reviewing all the same ones , except this time keep them dehydrated 😂
Bit of a beard singe hazard there! I like the collapsible tube bellows to keep the face from the fire and smoke out of my eyes. I also was surprised at how much the beef chunks rehydrated in that packet. Does the packaging on this kind of item allow for opening and reclosing, for example to get into the trail mix early, while hiking or for quick energy at a stop along the way between meals?
Nice, I was wondering when you'd be uploading or whether you gave up on MRE's? By the way, I'm super keen to get hold of one of those Czech ones, is there a way I could get one through your GF's friend ... somehow mate? Cheers from Ldn
@@TheConradChannel i'm in the UK though, I would prefer to get them from europe directly rather than from a US seller and have to spend half the amount on shipping. Thanks anyway though.
I am in Ireland. There are many members of that forum all over. I have traded for Czech rations with the guys from the "crombat rations" channel and got the Czech rations from them out of Croatia. I had some nice Dutch ones to trade at the time.
@@TheConradChannel ah ok thanks man, there I was thinking it would be 99% people from the US and Canada! haha when you say trade you mean supply one MRE for another?
Andy I've no personal experience of this but the evidence of countless MRE vids I've watched but Tasters Choice coffee is notorious for developing black mould after about a year I think its disgusting that its still being packed in the rations most of the other reviewers open the accessories pack oh hell Tasters Choice and toss it won't even take the chance ATB mate Bill
Nice looks great mate I like the more Teiresias where do u get them from though is it eBay a specific seller can u add a link in the discription plz would be greatfull
I do like the idea of MRE's but they seem well expensive. On eBay they seem to be about £15. I could buy enough food at the Chinese Market to last a week for that much money. Great job though buddy.
Good Vid Andy , does it feel Strange being back in Blighty , are you pineing for tbe Ffiords yet ? Lol What does the Mrs Kent Survival say , you keep sloping off for a day or more? Looking foward to the Next one
I tip my fedora to you. You show a recent trip to Sweden where you get 'Ragnar's Revenge' and the next video is an MRE with what appears to be your stomach contents.
Where do you get these US rations out of interest? Is there a preferred UK vendor you use? Ebay? Or do you have a mate in the US that can get them? Chaars
Greetings to you Kent for Survival. I watch your video and I'm interested in what camera you use and program for the creation of the video. Milan, Slovakia.
word of advice, dont eat the plastic ? Just messing around, but you can get Lithuanian MRE's for as low as £8 with Free delivery... Mine wasn't too salty, the spanish one I just uploaded was quite salty to be honest!

Thansk so much man, your videos are keeping me sane rk !!!
I binge watched all your ration reviews today and they are brilliant, I’ve really enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing 😊 Can’t wait for the next one 👍
Man you ever make it to America and I will carry you camping wherever you’d like to go. Seems like you’d make a fun camping partner
Good job the beard is short as that fire nearly caught it when your bundle ignited 😂😂😂
Love your videos mate! They are getting me through this quarantine, and having me thinking of better days.
You are looking quite relaxed. Happy that you are back at it. Thanks for sharing
Good to see you back after Sweden trip, glad you feel better now.

Thanks for sharing Andy.
Take care mate. Steve. 👍👍
Very relaxing and informative to watch.
Thank you for the hard work making these videos!
Made just south of me in Ohio about 20 miles or so. (MRE)
Good to see you back safe, how about some more collabs with Simon maybe going up and down the rivers with some stealth camping?
You should try and get your hands on the Cheese and Veggie Omelet MRE aka the vomelet.
Thanks Andy, have a Great Day!

British rat packs can't be beaten ! Even biscuits HB ! Oat blocks are great and so is the drinking chocolate 😋 main meals aren't dehydrated either!
I'll be trying that out soon! but had a French 24 hour already so ... the bar is already set real high! :)
Nice simple MRE to bad the creamer was spoiled. Good to see you appear to be feeling well after the trip to Sweden.
Another great video Andy.

Thanks! Hadn't heard of MCW before...
I don't know why I enjoy these mre videos so much .
they are fun to do also, you should try one!
swing by and check my playlist :)
Thanks, Andy. Always enjoyable. 🙂👍
My own experience with US mre’s the coffee creamer doesn’t fully dissolve unless the water is just off the flame boiling hot

Nice bit of curdling in the coffee.
Thanks andy that MRE pack had some nice stuff in it apart from the coffee cool a vid straight off the bat after sweden aswell more of a bonus

Good stuff Andy, boy, that coffee looked rough. Thanks :)

Nice one man. Love the MCWs . The main in this is decent for what it is. My favourite are the beef stew and the eggs Western style
Shame u not got ur own TV show.

Think I'd have had some of the crackers with the beef/spaghetti. Nice video, cheers , good to see you back. :)
How much do those packs cost please?
What's all that green stuff all around you ?? :D
Hey Andy great review sir THOSE MOW are great I wondered who bought it off eBay well done man nice review
Reason i don't go for MREs; all the damn peanuts. Some of us have allergies :-) Guess some US personnel have that issue too. Nice review.
Sad when coffee gets messed up!!
You didn’t bring any ketchup?!?!?! 😂🤣😝
Andy: I’ve not got much hope for these king Alfred cakes
King Alfred : hold my beer 😂
great as always bud 🤟
Lovely area. Gosh, those meals are odd. So much packaging to haul back out. I agree, the trail mix does look like the best part.
you ought to invite simon down to do a camp thingie... maybe you could both build some more structures etc together, might be cool!
nice mcw there 😊
Cheers bud, I really enjoyed this vid.
When you ate the puddings before mains i had to laugh.
Very entertaining.
Slim Andy!?! Looking good, mate.
oh I dunno about that but thank you haha
Agreed! It could be the lack of winter clothes or getting a stomach bug while on that canoe trip maybe? Lol

Lovely to listen to that bird song, shame about the planes lol. Good review mate. ATB Moose.
Wow, I've never seen a "non-dairy creamer" go off after only a few years. I mean that's the whole point of it being non-dairy.
