The under bodice does it have to be cropped or can it be to waist?
Should it only be in a woven?
Im just wondering if i can get away with a body suit under the bodysuit to attach the cape to.

I have another one made out of knitted fabric! It does work (and could be down to the waist too) but you need to make sure you use a fabric that doesn’t have any vertical stretch. Otherwise the weight of the cape will stretch it upwards and it won’t stay in place. Thicker fabrics are best also, scuba worked well for mine!

@@PolarisDesigns I've got some blue ponte roma 🤔
I like to have a layer between me and the suit to smooth any lumps n bumps so if I can do both support the cape and that it's a bonus.
