I ran the Michelin DH22/DH34 combo a while back and the grip was phenomenal, but they were also the most draggy and quick wearing tyre on earth. I was really hoping Michelin would find a middle ground with the new E-Wilds, but it sounds like that isn't the case. I'm also not keen on the only rear option being 2.6". While my e-bike can fit a 2.6" rear tyre, it forces me to run without a rear mudguard. Thanks for the review!
I have these tyres they are class on the emtb. I’m 100kg and run 20psi front and 24psi rear. No inserts. No issues doing all ther reds at bike park wales
I had the previous e-wild front and they also let sealant out of the sidewalls and heard of lots of others online had similar issues. Mine lasted 3 rides in total and I didn't even want to waste a tyre plug on it so replaced it with a Vittoria Mazza instead which has been brilliant.
I'm running the standard e wild and got a pinch flat last ride. I've put my old Maxxis back on for now but it's not got the outright grip the e wild had. I think I need to invest in a set of these.
I've had these tyres on for 3 months. They wear out so quickly, I've found them great in the dry but terrible in the wet. I'm taking them off and putting my Conti Agrotal back on for the winter, and I won't be using Michelin ever again.
Isnt that supposed to be wider on front than the rear? My ebike came witj assefai 2.5” front 2.4 rear, i thing 2.6” is draggy & 2.4” is loose. My eddy current 2.6” on front is like riding on sand is exhausting Btw i use DH22 29x2.4” at the rear eddy current 2.6” at the front
I've been following since you started the channel. It's really cool to see the growth. The quality keeps getting better. Well done, mate 🤙
Thanks for your kind words. Very much appreciated! 👊

Best all around combo on my Levo I found is Conti Kryptotals front/rear 2.4 Dh casing super soft front soft rear
You should give those a review!
Thanks, I’ll try and get hold of some 👍

Mine do this but it's not a problem

I personally found them to be faultless. I do like an Assegai though
Assegai/Kryptotal ist still the combo for me. On both of my bikes.
They are also excellent tyres. Great to have so much choice
Hey, great vid thanks. If you have ridden eddy currents, how do they compare to those?
2.6 rear specific is too big for my orbea rise, would the 2.4 front work just as well
2.4 should be fine. Also look at the Michelin DH tyre

Good to know! I’ll be trying some Schwabe’s this winter
I'm running the front here in Squamish the 2.8
Any good?
@@TheBikeStudio so far so good. Lots of grip on the slabs. I’m running about 22 psi on carbon wheels.
@onecutmedia sounds like heaven!
@@TheBikeStudio I’ll take you on a tour. Came ride with this 62 year old shreder
One day! It would be a pleasure

I’d prefer a 2.4 on the rear, although the 2.6 is a climbing beast!
@@TheBikeStudio yes, but DH22 as climber is a good one too.
Not fitting properly....!! Not for me thanks..I'll stick with Maxxis..
They’re great now! Just initial installation was a bit tricky
