    Can't beat the DJI sadly haha, I was looking at these two gimbals but finally settled on the RSC 2 and now use the RS3 Pro.

    @DreamDuo Films ..... I grew up on a farm and played sports all my life. I trained both womens and mens teams. I know you will not want to hear this and you may reject my input here.... however... your body is simply not conditioned/not used (weak) to physical work and needs daily strengthening. As men we are meant to be using our body much more and as a result we are suffering from all these physical weaknesses. If you did moderate all body training for six months and then did some basic weekly maintenance of that new strength then you are likely to avoid ALL back issues you just experienced. I am also a yoga instructor as a hobby. Good healing my friends and well done with your great work.

    Yeah I've recently experienced this back issue. Spent 1.5 hours on the floor in pain trying get up... I just got this DJI RSC2 GIMBAL and it is all that day it is..

      As a man we need to train 4/5 times a week for 20/30 minutes. If you build up your core strength you will never have any of these back pains. Do yourself a life favour and get stronger both physically and mentally. Peace and success to you.

      As having had back surgery health is of utmost importance. Do plenty of core conditioning. Stretch b4 & after exercise. Careful how unlift heavy objects bend the knees. Educate yourself 👍

    Does anybody have problems triggering their Sony Cameras with the record button on the RSC2? I just tried with the latest firmware on my RSC2 and FX3 and it triggers the cameras record but it get's stuck, tally lights are red but the camera does not record and does not stop even from the camera. I have to turn the power off and force reboot the camera.... Any suggestions? The aperture works fine with the wheel. Connecting via USBc - USBc C remote activated...

    What you think about the rsc3 against the weebill s2

  • @KasztanTS

    I think I might go ZHIYUN WEEBILL 2. I have Nikon Z6II - while the body itself is light (around 700g) and one lens 35mm 1.8s is light too ( 370g), but the other lens is 50mm 1.2S, which weighs almost 1.1kg - so very uneven balance. I guess Weebill 2 will be better... :)

    • @OSTARTFOTO
      @OSTARTFOTO Рік тому

      Weebill 2 or Crane 3, because I have Z6 with 24-35 f2.0 Sigma, this is veery heavy set, and WB2 sometimes can't works stable with it.

    I agree rsc2 is ridiculous with their mechanisms for low shooting. And weebill 2 screen is good. However despite being portable, weebill 2 and rsc2 are over 1.4 and 1.2 if i am not mistaken. If you add over 1.5 kg camera and microphone. It is still heavy. These gimbal are for pro projects, not for travel.

    • @Brandon4Weiss
      @Brandon4Weiss 2 роки тому

      I've traveled internationally with the RSC2 and my biggest complaint is the internal battery, necessitating the entire gimbal to be in your carry on bag. It folds up pretty small, yeah, but I'd rather just throw the battery in my carry on and put the gimbal in a checked bag. woof.

    • @CC-gt3ro
      @CC-gt3ro 2 роки тому +1

      @@Brandon4Weiss and dji acknowledged the battery could not last more than 3/4 years. The gimbal has expiry date. I found that very annoying that even zhiyun abandonned the superb design of the weebill s removable battery that nearly 99% of the owner would agree that it t is great to be able to charge a second set while using the gimbal or having mutiple set of battery ready to go. I think they do that to sell more gimbal every 3 years. There are no reason to not propose removable 18650 batteries which last nearly 10 hours on weebill s. And it handle big payload. The weebill 2 has ridiculous 5h real usage, and would not last a wedding. We want weebill s battery design. Do you hear Dji ? Zhiyun?

    • @Brandon4Weiss
      @Brandon4Weiss 2 роки тому

      @@CC-gt3ro I’m not super concerned about not having a longer than 3-4 year battery life. Surely there will be way better gimbals by that point and an upgrade is needed, right?

    This is a very informative video. If you are planning to give away one of the gimbals, I would love to be the lucky one, as I do not have one, and it would be really handy for recording my videos.

    Question from a newbie: Do you think the DJI RSC2 or RS2 combined with the Sony A7Siii could produce stabilized video similar to these hiking videos on youtube ( ua-cam.com/video/OIQwYWRlXOY/v-deo.html ) ( ua-cam.com/video/1aJ2NikmHnc/v-deo.html ) If so then can you please tell me how people hold a gimbal and camera for hours ? I guess I just need a little advice on how to make stabilized hiking videos. If you have any suggestions I would be grateful. Thank you.

    Your review is relevant, sure...
    But you say the "suitcase" mode of the DJI is weird and can cause reliability issues, then it takes the application to set it up (which is not easy when both hands are busy). Still you conclude by saying the ergonomics and usability of the RSC2 are better. Strange conclusion, not very logical.
    On a film set, you have dozens of people (I've seen a crew of 150 on location, then you add support team and remote staff members). Each of them has a specific task, and none is doing two things. Absolutely none, and I can confirme this after spending some 20 years or professional films sets. Then you'd want a solo shooter to operate their gimbal, thanks to an application ? Do you have three hands, maybe four (because using an app is hard to do with just one hand) ? This is not serious stuff, having to use a smartphone to operate a gimbal. When you are filming, there is nothing else you can do, it takes both hands, plus brains, plus eyes, plus legs, and else. Setting lights or fixed cameras with applications is possible, sure. But setting a gimbal with an application while you are currently using it, no way.

    Just got one and although I've heard very good things mine is bricked from the start. Won't charge and apparently a lot of peeps are having the same issue. I should do a video on Not To Get This Unit in 2023. Zhyun is not a good company. 2 gimbals already. at least my crane v2 batteries are removable.
