I hear ya. I was never quite that full of steam because I could see my own maladies more clearly, but yeah, I had the same complaints. Thing is, Saul of Tarsus made that guy look mild-mannered. That same zeal, should it turn to serve God's purposes, could be an awesome thing. Our angry friend needs intercession and revelation.

@George Greener how did we know from right from wrong? Where did our soul come from? How was the earth formed? How are we perfectly made from DNA? All of these questions are proof that God exists that scientist can never explain. There are evidence of demonic forces and exorcisms. If there are demons there is the devil if there is the devil then there is a God. There is evil in this world and there is good. There is a heaven and an hell the real question is where are you going at the end? Jesus saved us it now time to open your eyes. I don’t understand you want evidence but there is more evidence that God is real then everything came from nothing as atheist put it.
@@David-uv7sf Davio Coury How we know right from wrong is actually simple. It's called empathy. The Earth was formed from the Big Bang. As for the DNA part, DNA just tells the genetics/system how to make a person. There is no supernatural being involved. Now the burden of proof is actually on you to provide ACTUAL evidence. Do you have pictures of heaven/hell/God? ACTUAL pictures? Prove that we were actually saved. Where is the evidence that you claim that there is an abundance of? You have to go find it. I looked outside, and found absolutely nothing. Either bring me actual evidence or don't bother trying to change my mind.

The most good person that ever lived is the most hated person in the world, Jesus.
No I think Hitler was and is more hated. There are over a billion Christian's who love Jesus. There are over a billion muslims who love Jesus. I am neither and I don't hate jesus. The character written about in the bible seems to be a good man. Don't confuse opposition to theology as hatred of Jesus.

If you actually study the real Jesus, if you told every person what Jesus said, that he will cast most people into hell, their religions are false and all their religious icons are burning in hell, I think probably 4/5 of the world would hate Jesus. People only know parts of his life, not what he taught or claimed to be.

This isn't true, while it may be true for some athiest. I was Christian and became atheist because I studied evolution, the problem of evil, and the found no compelling reason to believe in God. I don't have any hard feelings, yes I think religion harms society to an extent but my atheistic views were created by my "emotions" as you put it

I've just recently started to do the work of an evangelist as a recent convert of about a year and a half-2 years. I haven't come across this type of opposition yet, but whenever I do encounter opposition in evangelism, I've started to say "I was counting on you saying that! because the Bible says that the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God."

M34T not sure if you are simply using its physical properties as a joke, but the women were saying, in context, that electricity has no inherent moral characteristic. That is, there is no such thing as good or bad electricity in and of itself.
I studied electricity for my Instrumentation degree from a technical college. Electricity has positive and negative ends. Look at a battery. Or, for a more apt comparison, a capacitor! Wire that bad boy wrong, and you have a bullet!

There are two aspects to it, an easy path, and the hard path. The easy path leads to the dark side (sound familiar?), while the hard path leads to the light. Jesus himself said, "broad is the easy path to destruction, but narrow is the way to the path of good, and only a few will find it."

The Kinsman Redeemer had to meet 4 criteria: He had to be human and could not be any other entity such as an angel or even female. He had to be 100% human, male. That's called Hypostatic Union. 100% God and 100% human at the same time. Second criteria is He had to be willing. Thirdly He Had to be able. Fourthly He had to assume all responsiblities meaning land, other assets or even a spouse. In Revelation 5, John weeps conclusively because he couldn't find anyone worthy to open Book and loose the seals. But one of the 24 elders told John to "weep not, for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and loose the seals thereof". Jesus is the only One worthy because He Is God! The Kinsman Redeemer had to be God and man at the same time. It would be a waste of Jesus time to come to earth and not be God. It would be like going to Wal-Mart and writing a check that you know you cannot cash. Jesus Christ had and still has the full power and authority of the Godhead of the Bible in Him. Dunamis, Exhousia and Kratos. Jesus said, "I have power to lay My life down and power to take it up again". Only God can raise Himself from the dead my friend. Jesus has the power of right and the power of might, both at the same time, all because He is God my friend. Jesus said, that if you dont believe that He is who He says He is, then you will die in your sins. I don't want that for you my friend. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works
lest any man should boast". Friend, place your faith in Jesus Christ just like you would a parachute when having to jump out of an airplane at 30,000 feet. You can't just believe in the parachute,
you have to place your faith in it by putting it on. Praying for you!

solo panda Documentation, video, actually witnessing, double checking that I’m not crazy with a doctor, make sure it wasn’t special effects, but how would I even know it’s real without properly evaluating it first hand?
The atheist on the video is mild compared to my husband when we have a discussion about Jesus. I have been given very sage advice to pray and be light to him. I fail pretty bad sometimes. Praise God for His mercy, grace, and patience!! Please keep us in your prayers.

@Hey Hi Hey...no worries...I don't mind you asking me at all! When we were married 18 years ago, I was not saved/backslidden. My husband is very loving and we get along great... as long as politics or God isn't discussed. 1 Corinthians 7:13 says to stay with him in such a case. I pray often for him to find Christ Jesus. He was raised Catholic.. and I think that it's not just learning, but also some unlearning.

Hi Pam. I know this is two months old but I hope and pray things are getting better. There is a channel called Apply God’s Word and he explains a lot of your troubles. And keep being a light to him keep praying but at the end of the day it is your husbands choice to change and accept Jesus. God will always be there waiting for him. Satan will always try to say negative things to you to give up but keep pursuing God talk to people within your church about this.
I don't evangelize much, but I've turned at least one person from an atheist to a believer. God bless those that care enough to save souls. It's a wonderful and brave thing to do.

I’m not an atheist, but I do think the atheist had a point. Specifically, the point about a just God not allowing sin to have taken place. The fact of the matter is that none of this is simple, and to assert that Christians have the Truth and know everything is patently false. Even the preacher in this video is at least as ignorant as the atheist he is debating. This doesn’t prove Christianity right, it just proves that this pastor has not met a sufficiently articulate atheist.
My point is that perhaps Religion’s greatest downfall is to insist that it is right. I think that as Christians, we have to understand that we could be wrong. Religion is way too dogmatic. We have not been able to articulate reality any better than Jesus did, and He lived like 2000 years ago. Surely the Church can continue its quest to know God fully and not simply accept that a vague idea of who God is is sufficient. How can you walk with God and blindly believe that you have all the answers to who He is already? Atheists simply point out that we aren’t done knowing Him. There are problems in our understanding of God. To insist that there are none is to be truly delusional and utterly blind.
The mature Christian knows that what he or she has learned in the Church is a work in progress, not a perfect idea that totally makes sense. They know that what they have learned is almost certainly wrong, and that as a Christian and someone who walks with God, it is their job to improve upon that which they have been given. For any person or religion to claim that they know God and His Word fully is perhaps the greatest sin one can possibly commit.

I am a former born again Christian now agnostic and humanist.I learned embracing our homo sapien species evolutionary reality is the healthiest way to be and religion,faith although not altogether tantamount to other perceived "evil things" in life also can be self destructive and dangerous if applied irrationally like any thing else. It can be idolatry.
It took me 3 years for this personal evolution/deconversion however scary at first. I had always sought truth and I eventually came to the realization that I could no longer hold to something spurious, not real and false.
I embrace decency, justice, righteousness, love,peace,wisdom and reason, along with the scientific method. We simply cannot place certainty on deities,the afterlife and the supernatural which I do not discount but I place certainty on carpe diem,seizing the moment and this life which is the only thing we "know" we have to be intellectually and emotionally honest. I am free from the bondage of extraterrestrial and celestial dictators equated as love and mercy personified in faith and religion.
There is no need for a God or a"devil" however I embrace that we humans are hardwired in these sundry belief systems as coping mechanisms in living lives that we are desperate in overwhelming curiosity in having purpose,meaning and a reason for self preservation. Eternal death is inevitable so we humans always throughout the ages of our species had narratives of saviors,redeemers ,rites,sacraments,creeds , rituals that exhibit this intuitive inner craving for eternal life across all tribes,races, ethnicities ,nations,civilizations and cultures.. I embrace that as well. I sometimes go to Mass and embrace the beauty of humanity in mysticism and ascendance/transcendance. I actually love it if approached honestly and realistically. I embrace humanity and all life, thus I am a true humanist..freethinker. I have so much inner peace with myself, everyone and everything. There is no need to grasp something that is already within us, albeit we are a foible, faulty and frail species, nevertheless there is only this life we must make the best of.

It is really hard to change someone's mind (athiest).. i had a co-worker, he left to another recently..one time, i felt like spreading the Word of God.. but then he starts asking questions such as what created what and so on.. but then i tried explaining to him but then he said, "no, i don't believe that." And at that point, i had no comment..and thought to myself not to say anything about religion...now that i've seen this, i'm like okay..maybe i should pray for my former co-worker and hoping he'll change and repent and ask for forgiveness..not only him, but for everybody that i know and that they don't believe or a believer of another church such as Jahovah Witnesses and more..
I even told him to watch 'Left Behind' or 'God is not Dead'...but he turned it down..

It is such a common comment I've heard and expirienced and it means that you are doing something right so hold tight to Christ and know nothing , not Angel's or demons nor death itself can ever separate you from the love of God

I'm an atheist, but a grumpy old wise one. This poor guy entered a gun fight with a knife when he tried to go down into detail, an atheist used to debating strategies won't let himself get carried away and will instead only go where the hard truth is. Stick to easy ones like check out the scale of countries when considering secularism vs crime rates, or when some one points out some fact that doesn't seem to fit in with evolution, point out that there are billions of other facts to do, the huge majority of which definitely don't fit in with the bible's explanations and that the scientific process (peer review etc) will still look at that fact and maybe in the future work out why it seemingly didn't fit.

People blame God because he's said to know the future, and yet he created the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and placed it in the reach of man, knowing full well that man would eat it. Why create the tree? Why place it where man was and then tell him not to touch it, even though you knew he was going to? Why then create a place for man to suffer for eternity for a thing that you knew he was going to do because you created the conditions for it to happen? Why then make a convoluted resolution to the whole thing which is the sacrifice of your son to save man?
If you made the laws of the universe, why not just say clap your hands 3 times and you'll be forgiven for your sins? Why do you require sacrifice? Why do you require blood? Why does death appeal to you?
Many Christians don't know that the religion the Canaanites practised before Judaism was polytheistic, and Yahweh was just one of many gods, and Yahweh was their god of war. He loved war, he loved blood, he was angry, short tempered and jealous. The Canaanites would call on Yahweh when they need to fight an oppressor, and call on the other gods for their other needs. They called on Yahweh to deliver them from Egypt, and called on Ba'al (the golden calf), the god of storm, rain and fertility to bring them water and fertility to the land. But Yahweh was a jealous god and didn't want those he helped to worship other gods. He wanted those he helped to worship only him, and for them to make him Elohim, their main god.
Much of the early books of the Bible were edited by the writers of Deuteronomy during the reign of king Josiah, so you don't see the full picture of how things were back then, and that's why there seems to be many confusing and contradicting things in the Bible. But if you learn about the old Canaanite religion, then a lot of the Bible begins to make sense, and you actually see it in a different light.
Like nephilim for example. They're the children of the sons of God and daughters of men. People today assume that to be angels of God, but no, it's the actual sons of the chief god in the Canaanites pantheon, El. El had many sons, and they would have children with human women and have demigod children, the nephilim. It's very reminiscent of other religions in the area too, like Greek mythology.
Not all atheists are this way. I have a friend who is an atheist, but she just doesn't care much for God. No, I don't push her about God and religion, but I do tell her that I'll pray for her whenever something bad happened. All she would say is thank you, and I think I can convince her Jesus is real by being a good example of a Christian.

As an agnostic atheist I find the guy at the beginning to be approaching arguing with Christians absolutely flawed he's driving away any kind of conversation by yelling at people exactly like the people he criticizes, I am humble enough to admit that atheism and theism both aren't perfect and are flawed in their own ways.
Atheism is freedom. Freedom to do bad without feeling guilty for it.
Also freedom to sin and disobey God.
