sounds like your truck is using up the fuel in the fuel bowl then dying. you probably got a restriction somewhere. most likely a clogged filter somewhere. you can pressurize your fuel tank and check if you got more leaks.
Thanks man, I've been putting it off cuz it's not at the top of my to-do list. but I'm going to have a technician come and check it out, I'll let you know the results. I'm sure it's a simple fix, the truck was fully operable before it parked it, it's not like it broke down on the road.
So I had a mechanic come and pull codes, I don't know the exact codes but basically the computer was telling him that all the injectors are faulty... Which seems unusual he thought it might be a harness problem, but I agree with you I think it's something in the fuel line still.
@@itswhatitis8364 just put a hose to your fuel bowl and use a gascan for a remote fuel tank and see what it does. There's a filter screen in the fuel tank that can break or clog up and it will cause your truck to starve for fuel
I have this truck and it always clug the diesel mesh besides the diesel filter. You have to remove the diesel filter first to reach the diesel mesh filter, use carburator spray to clean the mesh put it back in, install the diesel filter (full with diesel in it) and thats it.
I belive the high pressure oil rail o rings busted In one or more injector when it's hot it dumps oile that's why it won't start when it cools the oil drain from the top rail to the bottom it will start charging oile rail O rings that will solve the issue
