Hi, I enjoy the WHW series videos. Could you talk on the topic of older airtight woodstoves vs the newer emission compliant woodstoves? I have a Vermont Castings stove from circa 1995, it has what they called a catalytic burn chamber, would that be considered an emissions correct stove compared to a 2019 emissions safe stove? Thanks for sharing. Bill

Wish I could attend either one. Unfortunately, I will be working every bleeping weekend (new RN position). This allows me 4 days off to do homesteading work, but doesn't allow me weekend travels. I've been watching your wood burning videos and do love them.....a lot of info. Would like more on types of wood. Maples produce around here, SW PA, like crazy (think rabbits). Will have to try the chicken waterer....SO SO SO tired of lugging water jugs in the sub freezing temps. I use a heated base already, but not the 5 gal containers with the nipples. Will absolutely put that on my list before winter comes again.

Just pretend you are doing a you tube video and you will be great. I wish I could go to the homesteading conference but I live in Norther Ontario. Too far. And of course there's leaving the farm....

Eric you might think about firewood for profit, can you make money? where to get wood? how and where to sell. just a thought

I think your conversations/videos about thinking ahead and making things easy for yourself are something any of the folks that attend can truly learn from. Perhaps the types of wood and talking about when to burn them during the season... many people don't put a lot of thought into that. Lastly, I think you do a great job at speaking... you simply give your thoughts and what works for you and that offers others the ability to gather info and do what is best for them.

I love the WHW videos. Could you talk more on how you don’t cover your wood while it’s seasoning? I have a hard time not tarping my wood. Thanks. ApprecIte all your content.

90% of water in wood is “bound water”, as it is bound in cells. Once that drys out, the maximum amount of moisture wood can hold is about 12% called “free water”.

I have few Orpingtons in my mixed flock, But really like the New Hampshire reds overall for eggs and meat, they develop and feather out very fast, and are a good sized bird, I keep that flock separate for breeding purposes, your channel has really grown, congrats, thanks for sharing your ups and downs. I am hoping to get more content out this year if my health holds out. wishing you and the family all the best

Our ice just went out today as well! I'm over by Crosslake (north of Brainerd about 25 miles). Wish we had some chickens.

Thanks again Eric always enjoy your videos, entertaining and educational. As on your video about choosing the right chainsaw for cutting firewood I think may be a good topic. Thanks again.
