- This Vlog is about the Mileage Test of Interceptor 650 (Continental Gt 650 also because the specs are exactly the same except the cosmetics).In this vlog i ride the Interceptor 650 for 175 kms to test the mileage . i start by filling the petrol at a pump and drive for 85 kms and the. ride 85 back before i refuel and test the mileage of the interceptor. For a 650 cc parallel twin engine, i was expecting mileage of about 22-28 . But when i got a mileage of 31 kms even at driving for 120 km/h speed. I was very impressed at the mileage. Royal Enfield has done a great job withthe Interceptor 650 .The Results are quite Stunning.

How is this possible superb mileage...should i buy Interceptor BS6 or Himalayan 2021 ?? what would be city mileage for Himalayan on an economy ride ?? pls let me know
Now at highway cruising at 100-140 I get mileage of 23-26 . In cities I get 23-25 in bumper to bumper traffic. Himalayan would give you above 30-32 in highways and city condition. Don't buy a bike for mileage, buy it for what your going to.use it.for

I dnt think so bro. As both have same engine and tuning. Conti might give a bit more milage due to its better aerodynamic riding position and less wind drag. Not sure on that one. But I think so

What is the mileage before first service, and iam getting 22 while maintaining speed of 60 to 70 @ 3000 to 3500 rpm
I was getting 28 before first service. 22 is less even if it's in moderate to high traffic conditions at that speed. Hope it improves after the first service . Btw how are you calculating the mileage?

Depends on speed u drive. If u drive at 80 kmph with less traffic , u ll get 29-30... If u drive faster, mileage wll be less. On avg it gives mileage between 23-30 kmpl

Mileage calculated by full tank, then trip meter to 0 riding some kms then re fuelling to full tank
That's the correct way of doing it. You have to show it to the service center then. Is your bike idling more than normal? That would also consume more petrol
Idling was perfect 1200 rpm , and myne is GT650

Ok😀 iam again checked the mileage it was satisfied with that 29.6kmpl (39.2km refill for 1.32 Litres) for third time checking I got this 29.6kmpl .But before 2 test got 22kmpl. Total I covered 230kms from date of delivery to till now. I want to know the reason for 22kmpl for first 2 test.
Haha good to hear.....Some bunks along the highway fill less petrol than the meter showing.......So that might have caused the low mileage.

That's what. Depends on the speed u drive. I got 30 when i was driving in 75-80 speed. When i drive in 100-120 speed , i got 25 mileage. If you drive rash. Then mileage wll be less. Any bike above 500 cc will give this milege only. If you want muleage., Then buy Dominar
