I had a bad grade for English 0492 and then on the other courses too. For the other course that was career developing and writing course I got a bad grades because of the final exams I try to do my best in my finals exams so I got a bad grade for that reasons so now I have to appeal and send the papers to financial aid and wait if I won't be elegible for the summer semester because If i'm not elegible for the summer term for having bad grades in class. There is another option too in order to be elegible I will need to receive at least 16 credits and I don't know how to get 16 credits for one term so i'm going to appeal to see if I could be elegible for the summer term for next term I want to improve my grades and move on because if I wait until next fall I will never going to finish college if I wait until the fall. I don't know what am I going to do if I won't be elegible for that appeal form.
Do you mind sharing your input on appealing an overall class grade? My professor is basically explaining to me that the fate of my grade in this class is from the feedback of my peers in a group project. He’s taken off a significant amount of points and has left me with a failing grade. Our conversations via email are pretty much going nowhere .
I think this extends far past grades. It is a very clear example to explain a lot of processes that affect our daily lives. thanks!
Came across this video unexpectedly - it's really helped and given me some perspective! Keep it up :)
Glad it helped, Eytan!
Jay, another great video! Once again "being right" is not always as effective as being rhetorical.
Thanks for the idea, Emily!

Can grade appeal backfire and lower a grade?
no
