Good Video. The Chinese also have Suicide Anti-tank troops as well. But the Chinese list says that they also can be bought as Veteran- for when you need that man who's been around the block in terms of suicide anti-tank bombing. Apart from that, same rules as you stated.
It's honestly very funny to me that doggo with a bomb strapped to it has better chance of hitting than advanced, remote controlled small engineering vehicle made by the germans
The Goliath team could gone better. Giving some bonus for being in Ambush or cover. The dog is to good with a 50% hit chance. The Japanese bomber is the best one you can get to fear tanks. Thanks for the video.
You are definetly wrong with the Bomb Dogs! They are the most compatetive anti tank choice out there because you can take 3 Inex. Dogmines in 1 Slot. One of the best Warlord GT winning lists had 6 inex. Dog mines in 2 Platoons which gives you 6 Order Dice in the Bag and you can shut down a huge Field for enemy Tanks because they dont want to be near to them.
never knew about the goliath, it seems interesting to use it at least once. I really hate the japanase anti-tank guys, they are way too good. One thing for these guys to make them even better. They can use the banzai special rule, so if the tank is closest it has to charge it and doesn't have to roll any order checks (if it had any pins). So pinning them is useless. Charge them or put units in ambush to stop them, but man I hate them
With bomb dogs you keep mentioning that they can only target stationary vehicles. This isn't that bad as it forces your opponent to move sufferings a -1 to hit.
dog teams are awsome ! Yes you can oly target sationary targets but ypu dont any penalties for cover range or movment . With of those doggies on target you aare wuite capable of blowing a tank
The other Goliath rule that is unrealistic is you have an 18 inch fire range. You can cross over unlimited amount of ruff ground, walls, and hedges. The Goliath is running on the ground. Bolt Action should make it so you have to go around such objects.
They got a pen value of+2 for light and a +3 for heavy auto cannons, but their main focus is air attacks against said aircraft and ground targets other than tanks DV 8 on up.
I think its strange that bomb dogs are "launched" at the enemy like firing a weapon, and not assaulting the vehicle like infantry with anti tank grenades. There should be a reaction to shoot at the dogs as they assault the vehicle, one of the reasons the dogs were not effective in the anti tank role in the first place.
I am taking all three Soviet teams for my AT team slot a AT rifle then the Dog mine and finally a tough tank hunter group, that way I would have all the bases covered on what ever my opponent would send out vehicle or even small team wise as the AT hunters and rifle could go after them if they was in range.
@@bryanknecht6860 Tank hunter just means they are better equipped to take on vehicles with grenades in close combat, they would still be your free infantry squad and would take up an infantry slot instead if they wasn't free.

I love how the more blood you sacrifice, the better the kamikaze attack get
Finally getting back into BA. Haven't played since first edition, and these vids have been helping a lot. Much appreciation
Thanks for doing these videos, Hollywood. They’ve been super informative and I always watch them as soon as I see them

Best Bolt Action content i've seen so far.
Ivan and the Bomb Dogs
Great video keep up the good work👍
With a constant 50% chance of hitting, Dog Mines are probably THE most competitive AT weapon in Bolt Action, factoring in effect for price.
One of the winning Lists of the Warlord GT used 6 of them in 2 Platoons. Definetly the most compatetive choice when you spam them as Inex. Cheap dice.

Shoot yeah I totally forgot about banzai.

Do autocannon not fall under "anti-armor"?
High Explosive. They'll be covered.
@@HollywoodWargaming Cheers; good content thus far, looking forward to it.

Does the free inexp squad count as anti tank unit (taking up a slot) if upgraded to tank hunter?
