It's actually the Intern who does all of the work. Mostly, I just stay out of his way. 😂

Oh I am very much like you Danielle.

I’m doing my best to put in place systems. I’m going to begin to track again. You made an excellent point about keeping it realistic and no letting perfectionism and all or nothing thinking foil our success. Oh I’m terrible about celebrating or rewarding myself for success. I’m like you though I love the virtual awards.

I have an irrational attachment to virtual rewards and streaks. 😆

I, too, use the end of the year to reflect and choose goals and areas of focus for the new year. I don't make resolutions.

Good for you. "Areas of focus" is a great way to put it.

I never make new year's resolutions either. I find they are so easy to break.
For me, I have multiple chronic health issues, including insomnia and fibromyalgia, so I need to leave my goals a little more open. If I set them too strict, and I'm not able to do them because of my health issues, I tend to give up completely. I think it's important, when making goals to consider your personality, your life and situation (such as health issues) so that you can make realistic goals and not feel like a failure.

That is SUCH a great point!! You absolutely have to consider your situation and your personality when setting your goals.

I used to set goals for the new year, and it was a bummer when I didn't reach them! So now I do my best, and that's all I can ask for. That's just me; your mileage may differ. Have a Great 2025, Danielle. The predictions are that it's going to be a very rough one. Be careful!

Yes!! I'm the same way!! I beat myself up when I don't meet my goals, so I'm have to learn to make better goals. Happy 2025 to you, too, my friend!! 🤗

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Danielle! How did your snack food work out for your drive to Georgia ?

Thank you! I had a great Christmas! I hope you did, too! My snack food on the way down was great. On the way back home I didn't prepare as well, but it was still okay.

Now that you say it, I wonder if the company is phasing out the regular bars and going to just puffs. You can still get a few flavors of the regular bars at their website built.com/collections/original-built-bars . . . but they used to have LOTS of flavors of bars!! It will be interesting to see what's going on with the company.

My main goal is to shed "atleast" 1 pound a week. Just take it 1 week at a time.
