Hi team! 💜 Hope you found the step-by-step breakdown helpful for your goal planning 😄 If you wanted more help with making sure your goals actually get achieved, I'd love to help you! Jump over to www.epicgoals.club/c/course/ to see our course space 💪
I actually really love the order in which you wrote this out! I kept getting stuck when i got to the part where i had to write out milestones because thry didnt end up matching with my actions list when i did the two steps out of order. Now this makes much more logical sense!
this is exactly what I needed. I was brainstorming 2025 goals yesterday but I felt stuck since I didnt even know how to begin. but planning them out entirely is so genius! 😅 why didnt i think of that!?
Do you have any videos on what to do when all your plans go out the window due to an emergancy that changes everything? This holiday season hubby ended up in the hospital and I ended up hurting my back. He is slowly doing better as is my back. This video helped a lot. Thank you.
Oh man, I’m sorry you’re going through so much, and all at once too? There’s a UA-camr called “HowtoADHD” and a little while ago, she made a video called, “How to Rebuild your Routines When Everything Changes” I think it might be a helpful watch even for someone who doesn’t have ADHD. Hope life goes more smoothly for you soon ❤
💜 I have always thought the witcher was passively interesting but never got into the story. I’d love to watch you do the whole rest of the series, PLEASE. I was riveted. Your passion for the story kept me so engaged I got a bunch of work done on my knotting project just listening to this video.
Yesterday I gave myself a list of 24 things I wish to do but which don't need to be done. I plan on doing them in the next 3 months, but have given myself a deadline for the end of the 2025. When this goals are achieved, I will set myself the next list of goals. Every goal on my list is not a great revolutionary thing, but just one step closer to turning my dreams into reality. Thru my 24 goals, I will start with with working on 2 projects, with one step on one project and the next on another. One of the projects only has 7 steps or goals. When I get this done one of my dreams will come true! 💓 That will be after 14 steps. Then I will start working on another dream instead. The next 10 steps will be between the project I am starting right away now and a new project I will start after finishing the other one. One step on one project and the next one on another. So 24 goals or steps: Project A: 12 Project B: 7 Project C: 5 My wish is to get it all done in the next 3 months. If I don't succeed, I will try to do them as soon as possible. Final deadline is 31. of December. Then it will be done, no questions asked. To all the people saying stuff like majority of people not achieving their new year resolutions, I can just say that I have given myself much more ambitious plan for 2024. I achieved most of my goals. This year I am more interested in really doing ALL of my goals. They will be achieved and when they are, I will make another list. I don't care about what part of the year it would be in. Be it February or December, I am making the new list right away.
I have been more successful with your method than SMART in 2024 since learning about this method last year on a livestream workshop. It's WAY more digestible (a la the "one compelling reason") but still actionable. Thanks for this well-timed video and keeping goal-setting fun 🤓🧙♂️
Hello Jashii. Do you have any suggestions for people who struggle to follow through on actions and reviewing their goal progress? I find i can do the goal setting easily enough, but the goal getting is where i struggle. I find i get stuck because i don't like how structured it all is. I'm much more of a go with the flow type person. More likely to chase or watch the butterfly in a field than to stick to a plan. I've also found it crucial to realise and address any psychological or mental blocks that may prevent us from following through.
Question with respect to defining work vs personal: How do you mentally manage that your work output is sometimes quite personal? How do you define for yourself what is part of the “workday” and what is part of your “personal” time? For instance, the content of the example goal is specifically a personal goal but you’re also overlaying work tasks. This might be too blurred an example since it’s also a work impacting goal … perhaps better would be if you were filming yourself developing a more clearly personal goal, would that time in goal development be part of your workday? I’m curious because of my own boundary drawing challenges. Hoping for some new mindset notions that may help me shift my thinking.
Hi Jess!! Could you make a video telling more about de course and how it works? I’m from Brazil so for me it would a big investment (because the price is in dollars) so it would be nice to know more about it before I purchase 😊❤
I was just wondering this same thing!! I have recently waded into the world of fountain pens, but I have found I am less likely to jot things down…. Same goes for the Tomoe River paper. I should just go back to regular paper 😂
Finding a job: *determine what your ideal job is *Evaluate your current skills *determine what skills you need to improve or aquire to be qualified *work on said goals *update resume *spend 20/30 or whatever minutes a day checking job listing's and sending resume *go through clothes to determine interview outfit, and what you have for "dressing for the job you want" *procure whatever clothing articles you need for the interview *ask for and act on feedback from any rejections Most goals are 1 time goals. Mapping out the steps makes it much more likely you'll make progress, get the outcome you want, in a time frame you're happy with.
Like Kelly_Ben has outlined, there are plenty of action steps that can be taken in the process of finding a job 😊 Plus, I would argue that finding a job does have repeated steps, unless of course you were successful in the first place you applied to (which would definitely be a plus 👌) As shown in this plan though, you can record one-off AND repeated steps in the plan 🤙
Ouch, I want to help you with your handwriting. It looks so picky and small and your hand is so tight! And yet you sound like a relaxed, joined up loopy writing person. Relax your writing please before you need a hand therapist!
This is the only journal I use my normal handwriting in 😛 It's nice to have a dedicated space with it compared to the lettering I use in my other videos/journals 🤙

EPIC
E - enjoyable
P - practical
I - impactful
C - challenging
I don't like the over-hyped "S. M. A. R. T." goals formula as well. But I'm super interested in the E. P. I. C. Goals system. 🙂 Thanks Jess.
@@ThePracticalIntuitive me too! The SMART goals just have never resonated with me
@mizzmeplans exactly.
I’m right there with you 😂 SMART doesn’t work for a lot of goals and/or a lot of brains 👏
Oh goddddd not "smart" goals .........
Epic? The Akronym is gepic

This is also a very practical application of Natural Planning, that David Allen shared in GTD. Thank you.
Some great ideas here. Thanks!

Going to look for a budget planner video unless you're dropping one for vlogmas😊
Don’t have one for Vlogmas, but we have our previous money related videos 😊

That makes no sence for ONE TIME goals like finding a job. There are no Things I repetedly do.
Finding a job:
