LOL i lost my sht when i saw you about to put it in the oven without the cocoa powder your cooking videos are some of the funniest things i've ever seen. thanks for the laugh
Good work, Georgina!! Agree w you about online recipes- annoying pop-up ads + scrolling & scrolling. When using a scale, i learned to first take into account the weight of the bowl/plate i was using (if not using a sheet of parchment). 💕🍫
I really enjoyed your cooking show. You are really getting good at it and the brownies look delicious. I was yelling into my computer, "you forgot the sugar and cocoa", but I knew you would realize. Just a tip, most butter that comes in wrapped sticks will have one tablespoon marks on the wrapper. 4Tbls equals 1/2 cup and 8 Tbls equals one cup. I save a wrapper in case I buy butter that doesn't have it. I agree that the recipes on the phone are a big pain. I hate scrolling through so much nonsense just to get to the ingredient list. But most of my recipes come from cookbooks. And yes, I am old.
Congrats on discovering the joy of the American blog style recipe 😅 usually there's a tiny link saying "jump to recipe". Just watch a video of the recipe on youtube next time (not a short, I mean proper video) it'll save a headache. When I was learning to cook I went with 4 ingredient recipes, just helped simplify things.
What a buggered up website on how to make brownies, lol! Whenever I bake something I do the ingredients/prep in 2 different ways. My 1st method is going back from school doing Food Technology, where we would look at the recipe, to find the information out, then either write or type out the ingredients nedded & measurements, then write or type out the preparation & then the same with the method! My 2nd option would be pretty much the same routine as above, but instead of writing or typing it out, I just take screenshots 😅😂
😂😂😂😂. Top tip Aldi sell ready mixes for cakes, brownies and biscuits that are easy to use. To make them special you can add extras so they taste like homemade from scratch. You really can't tell the difference xxx

two things i remember about preppykitchen: 1. his recipes always use waaay more sugar than you need. if it's a preppykitchen recipe, a good rule of thumb is to cut the amount of sugar by AT LEAST 50%. 2. he adds vanilla to basically everything.
I've always wondered why recipes insist you use unsalted butter then the next ingredient is salt. I rebel and just use salted butter! Yours look yum Georgina!
The Preppy Kitchen, John Kanell, has a UA-cam channel. He's very popular here in America. That also explains the difference in measurement. Sorry! I'm so glad they turned out well. Enjoy!!!

I am correcting my mistake. One sick , 8 Tbls equals one half cup of butter. 4Tbls equals a quarter cup. Sorry

Hoorah! So glad they came out well. I enjoyed the process so much, especially hunting for how much butter - really relatable!
Oh the dramas 😂😂😂 absolutely chaotic, I love it 😂😂
I think it helps to measure out all the ingredients first

Is it wrong to laugh? That was ace and they looked yummy!! 10/10 x
Love you Georgina 💞

They looked delicious. I think that the recipe could have been clearer though. Thank goodness you remembered about the cocoa powder. 😂

You used a desert spoon for the vanilla, not tablespoon. 2 dessert spoons = 1 tablespoon.
I was howling was like where is the coco powder then you realised 😂
Thats an A.I. written recipe and makes sure you scroll past as many ads as possible.
Can't seem to comment in preview, it's coming up as error. So evening Georgina.
