The funny thing... I kinda felt like I was micro-forging them. The metal really conveys the quality of... well... metal. Thank you for watching and thanks for the feedback.
Thank you! Once the braziers were painted and weathered, I inserted the small micro-leds through the gap at the base of the brazier and then hid the very thin wires along the strip that supported it from the wall. The wires are so thin they're pretty easy to hide. I could have also wrapped them down the handle and incorporated them into that part. I also dabbed a little gel medium into the brazier to diffuse the light a bit. Thanks for watching and commenting. All the best!
okay now...add a little hidden fog tube and let it drift up through the flickering LED. It will look so much like real fire that people will be fooled. The tiny diy fog machines are easy, cheap and fun.
This is EXACTLY what I need for my book nook. Since I'm new to making miniatures/dioramas, the step-by-step is greatly appreciated!
Great! Glad it helped. It was a pretty random solution but fun to do a little mini-soldering. It's amazing how much paint will cover! All the best!
They're not bad you say? They look great!! :)
Thanks! I appreciate that. I think all of the little irregularities work for something that is supposed to be wrought iron. Thanks for watching!
When I saw the thumbnail, I assumed the basket part was from jewelry bits. I was wrong. So wrong...
Looks great! Well done... :)
Trust me when I tell you I looked at the craft store! Thanks for watching!
They look great and very realistic.

These are beautiful. How did you add the lights?

I really need to look into that effect! So many ideas out there… so little time. All the best!
