      Brah… you know I got you! Thanks for the kinda words. I actually wasn’t super happy with this since I was rushing to get it out before the bonus gift ended. It’s nice to know you still felt it was high enough quality!

    Yo this is the definitive review with all those sound tests, dang man, gotta commend you for your time on that! Realize they’re totally different boards, but seems like the Mode Envoy (at a similar starting price point) or the arc 60 (for another $100 or so) would be more compelling to me, but the color / aesthetic customization certainly is unmatched.

    • @Akeynote

      You are a person of culture. Maybe next time I should through in some other keebs for a value proposition. I pretty much agree lol.

      @@Akeynote Haha, thank you man! It’s nuts trying to keep track of all these boards coming out all the time, but for sure wouldn’t turn down any comparisons you had to offer in a video like this! Alexotos (one of the seemingly few who already has a Mode Envoy) said he’d pick it over an arc60! If I could use a 60 for work, I’d probably lean towards the arc, but I need the arrows/ navigation on the right to function.

    • @Akeynote
      @Akeynote  2 роки тому

      Yeah same. I have an Arc60 in the queue but they sent it kinda late so haven’t checked it out yet.

    This video is awesome - as someone pretty new to the hobby, I don't know a whole lot about how plates effect the sound of your keyboard besides the generalization of "pc thocky fr4 clacky." Having the back to back sound tests with the insane amount of configurations was super helpful, and I can't imagine how long it took to shoot all of those

      in via You have to map RGB toggle on, RGB mode+, sat+,sat-, bright+,bright- on dedicated keys. I use Q-U to make it simple. Then you’ll have access to all the different lighting options.

    • @Akeynote

      I only use stock switches now lol. I feel like if their not good enough stock why use them. These are definitely in the rotation now. Didn’t sound good with carbon fiber tho. Much better with pc and Ali.

    Im looking over the preoders for it and I was wondering what the Sea Shipping and Air shipping was since I never seen those on preorders.

    • @Akeynote
      @Akeynote  2 роки тому

      I would send over a email to the vendor your going to use. It’ll depend on various things only they would know.

    • @coyotex850
      @coyotex850 2 роки тому +2

      Basically that determines the shipping method they use to get the boards from their factory or warehouse to the vendors such as connonkeys etc...air shipping is faster but its more costly

    Great vid really appreciated the sound comparison format at the end, you're the only person I've seen with the alu plate could you tell me what the flex is like/ how its different compared to the pc?

    • @Akeynote
      @Akeynote  Рік тому

      Super different. The Alu is pretty stiff in comparison. As a whole it’s not the stiffest Alu keyboard I’ve tried. If flex is what your looking for I’d avoid Alu as a general rule. Some boards have bigger gaskets so it’s it’s ok but that’s not the case here.

    Other than that, great video, as always!

      PC is a much less dense material. So it has more flex.

      @@Akeynote well damn, I googled for a bit and it sure looks like it, not that much less dense, but still less. however I'm pretty sure I've heard many times from content creators that POM is more flexible and creates deeper sound, than PC. thanks, gonna fall into another rabbit hole!
