Yeah Deviant theme is a total let down. At least they should have each had a remixed theme of their originals. Its such a bad theme and its for EVERY Deviant. Except Blood Bath.
GU is so well balanced, any weapon works for anything. Guilty pleasure of mine is use Master Sword G with Jho-Ceana for these kind of hunts since it matches with the set very well to not use it for a great Crit build. (And yes, with the Rare 7 Link costume as a transmog for it. I love it.)
I mean compared to Bone Splitter At least Toyohisa Sword you can have the option to use Sharpness +1 to get White sharpness (Using S+1 instead of S+2 on Bone Splitter only extends its base Blue sharpness)
And both GSes deal same 360 raw damage but with S+2 Bone Splitter wins slightly for having a bit longer Purple sharpness and of course Bone Splitter is a lot cheaper to make but Toyohisa has that swag, imagine using giant Katana as GS like the days of 1st Gen MonHun
Man I went and unlocked this GS after seeing you use it only to find out my brain wont stop thinking it's a LS and I keep hitting buttons as if it was a LS
yeah theres other options that are better on paper but my good friend the toyohisa sword is trusty and thorough. i literally live and die by this thing shes gotten me through so much.

Greatsword design reminds me of the gen 1 greatswords, which a lot looked like Longswords.
