I used to make these and some ham and cheese and turkey and cheese for my kids and put them in the freezer so they would have a nice snack to put in the toaster oven when they came home from school, I always made breakfast ones to grab on the go for our busy mornings. I poked wholes in the top B for breakfast, P for pepperoni, H for ham, C for cheese, CK for chicken, and even homemade pop tarts that I poked PT, I tried my best to make them as many homemade things as I could then they discovered they "real" treats at their friends homes and they loved the store bought treats and I became "uncool"! (I don't think that's the current terminology anymore) but they wanted store bought stuff for awhile, now they are adults and want my recipes. And love the memories of my homemade treats. Of course I give them all the recipes I can remember because I want them to continue those memories of mom with love. It bothers me when families don't pass down their recipes my grandmother absolutely refused to pass down her recipes and now we all crave things she made and have to try our best to recreate them from taste memory and it's never quite the same, just give the recipe because we love you and we miss you and want the memory of you. I want my kids to remember me through taste and I want my grandchildren and great grandchildren to know me through taste even if that's all I have to give them.
