That was definitely one of the best orchestrated chase scenes I've seen in a long time. If you've seen any UA-cams with cops chasing perpetrators, then you should know one fact... Arkansas cops don't mess around. They will take you down, no matter what they have to do. Great job guys and very well done. A lot of cops have prior experience racing their own cars… speeding etc. prior to becoming a police officer. As well as even while being a police officer. Both on and off duty. What always gets me, is the ones who will lie about their speed etc. in chases to command, only so they can continue on with it. Oh my goodness, that Camry driver has earned an extended vacation inside a gated community. He'll be able to enjoy three meals a day, lots of company to talk to, and all the accommodations are free.
Trooper Hess is one of our best. He was in our Cross and St Francis counties but has moved to the Dardanelle area and he is a great trooper and certainly missed by everyone in this part of Arkansas, you are lucky to have him serving your part of our great state✌️👽

I'm not in favor of blocking the left lane, but if traffic in the right lane is slower than me, I prefer not changing into the right lane and then back again just to pass a constant string of vehicles. 100 lane changes to pass 50 vehicles is actually more dangerous. My dad was a DOT engineer, and he complained of this law forcing the right lanes of roads to be worn out faster for no necessary reason.

Also, it’s been proven that when people can’t evade police, they come to a state of reality and their brain clicks. They end up stopping in the middle of the roadway or somewhere and just pause. There’s numerous types of actions like this on other dashcam clips.
We the taxpayers admire the ASP but are seriously pissed off with criminals playing tag with them. Tire wear is ferocious at those dangerous speeds SO, on top of usual fine and imprisonment, we demand that upon conviction the crim must pay for a new set of tires for each cruiser involved even if it means forfeiting possessions to meet all costs.
This was an amazing chase. Had my adrenaline pumping, I can only imagine how these officers must have been feeling. These guys have ice in their veins. Put these dudes in the Daytona 500 tomorrow.

The trucker in the right lane should have recognized the danger and backed off so the trucker in the left lane could move over quicker. You are blaming the wrong trucker. The right lane driver could have ended the jumble. That’s what I teach my drivers. Leave room and leave yourself an escape not only for you but others, creating gaps if necessary.

Having lived in Arkansas in recent years, great respect to ASP. They seemed well trained, professional and in good physical condition. They will treat all individuals with respect and be polite on traffic stops, from what I’ve observed. But when a criminal violently rejects the laws of the state and puts the fine folks of Arkansas in danger? Umm, expect a combination of rodeo-like guts and military-like action to bring the event to a swift conclusion!

134 mph chase over driving in left lane? Endangering everyone's lives? Seriously?! I know the Camry should not have fled kater revealed drugs & a rifle. But to chase someone down for simply driving in the left lane slone is ridiculous. Both police and suspect would have looked even more stupid & dangerous if the marijuana & rifle had not turned up! Still, was 130+mph worth endanger all of the public's lives?
The trucker in the right lane should have recognized the danger and backed off so the trucker in the left lane could move over quicker. You are blaming the wrong trucker. The right lane driver could have ended the jumble. That’s what I teach my drivers. Leave room and leave yourself an escape not only for you but others, creating gaps if necessary.

@Wheeler63 It doesn't have to, police give lots of tickets on vehicles that are parked etc. and even with nobody in the car. States just haven't chosen to start doing it so far.
@Wheeler63 Nope! If so then how do states get your tag number by cameras on highways and send people speeding tickets? It happens every day ! The difference is if the police want to arrest on a criminal charge like fleeing or criminal speeding .
Having lived in Arkansas in recent years, great respect to ASP. They seemed well trained, professional and in good physical condition.
They will treat all individuals with respect and be polite on traffic stops, from what I’ve observed. But when a criminal violently rejects the laws of the state and puts the fine folks of Arkansas in danger? Umm, expect a combination of rodeo-like guts and military-like action to bring the event to a swift conclusion!
I used to travel extensively on I-40 and I-55. Left lane drivers were the worst. Glad ASP is working to get them in the right (correct) lane.
