His switch skills blew me away when I was a kid. Really nice to see how he tuned his life around. Makes me wonder how far he would have taken his talent if he had stayed on the straight and narrow.

Skate culture is kinda schizophrenic- guys who "get sober" like Brandon, Greco, Reynolds, etc. are celebrated, while there's still a lot of emphasis on partying, and weed is ubiquitous. Before anyone says "but weed is different", ask Brandon if it was a gateway thing for him, and ask him why he doesn't do it now if it's so positive.

@@MyBodyWash True- it varies by person, but there is plenty of evidence that THC has a detrimental effect. Mariano, Paolo Diaz, & too many to name know this first hand. Wes Kremer will look beat in a few years, & Evan Smith already does.

We used to have a videotape called ON Video Skateboarding with a small doc about Carlsbad, cali and this small five sec clip about his switch hardflip at 2:35 was added to the footage. This was about 20 years ago and i still remember his name and never forgot about that hardflip! Truly amazing to see him again, as i haven't been skating myself since all the classics like Yeah Right! Such a LEGEND! I'm hooked to Primitive Skate nowadays ;)

It's different hearing the story about the bridge and now physically seeing it how high he jumped from is crazy. Most people would be lucky to be able to walk again let alone huck yourself down a monstrous gap like Wallenberg. Even though his part is short in osiris subject to change it's still one of my favourite parts from that video. Keep pushing B you got this!

Man this is crazy inspirational. To go through all that and come out on top. Pushing the limits like most can't. I've had my share in down times and fuck ups and skating has always been there for me also. Just about seven months sober myself right now and I just love to see this shit. Big respect to Jenkem and BTurner for real. Thank you for inspiring and also making my day a little better. 🙌❤
