Diffusion: Simple Diffusion vs Facilitated Diffusio
Simple diffusion occurs through the lipid bilayer, or pores or channels. In this, multiple molecules pass directly without any chemical interaction with the passage. So its a fast process. On the other hand, in facilitated diffusion, the diffusing substance interacts with the carrier protein chemically. Its a saturable process, and therefore, its slow. The factors affecting rate of diffusion are concentration, electrical and pressure gradient.

Amazing ❤
I Learned this lesson on chemistry. But the main point is to get the knowledge.thanks so much 😇😇
Awsome🎉🎉🎉❤
very simple and easy to understand
this was very helpful! thank you!!
thank you for the simplified explanation
thank youuuuu

what is one physiological function that depends on simple diffusion?
All the movements of water in the body. Movements of oxygen and carbon dioxide. The list is endless.
