  • This video covers
    - What diffusion is
    - How it works
    - How it applies to cell membranes
    - The 3 factors that affect the rate of diffusion (concentration gradient, temperature, surface area)
    Exam board specific info:
    KS3
    All relevant to KS3 course
    GCSE
AQA - All on your course
IGCSE Edexcel - All on your course
Edexcel - All on your course
OCR 21st Century - All on your course
OCR Gateway - All on your course
    A-level
If you're doing A-level biology you also need that longer diffusion distances will decrease the rate of diffusion because the particles have to travel further.

Hi! my teacher does the same but in a classroom it doesn’t help me all that much because i’m prone to zoning out because he doesn’t do anything that keeps our minds on this video, so could i suggest for your students maybe pausing the video every so often in the video and asking questions to ensure they’re actively watching it?

Hi, I had a question, since you said diffusion happens when particles move from a high concentration to where there is a low concentration, is it possible that almost all the particles try to move to a low concentration area at once, making that area concentrated? And then, does this process repeat, with the particles going back to now low-concentration areas?

    • @duaahmed8645
      @duaahmed8645 Рік тому +1

No the particles move from a higher concentration to a lower concentration until the concentration is balanced on both sides
