- In the heart of KL, Pudu was the first landing spot for many baby boomers. From everywhere in Malaysia, KL was the city to be and Pudu was the location where their buses stop. Hence this formed the characteristics of the location.
This is also why such signature buildings such as Tung Shin Hospital, Bukit Aman Police Station, Pudu Sentral Bus Terminal, Kota Raya Mall, Maybank Tower are all cramped in this address. In the midst of that, you have Robertson as a mixed development complementing the existing developments.
Judging based on the usage and unit size designs of the residences, it's purely to leverage on the site condition. Verified by the service providers in the building, this project main target audience are for short term stays.
Personally, as much as I love being in the city, this site is way too overwhelming. The never ending noise, traffic, people, activities and etc are just not suitable for this project to be called home.
Really need to redevelop Pudu area....its really eyesore......🙄and its right in the middle of city ctr...

Working at the Church, next to the Robertson 🙋♀️. Sometime it’s really hard to get cheap good food in the afternoon and within walking distance, but at night, you can actually walk to Jalan Alor and Petalling Street. Hence Robertson attracts many tourists to have short stays. But with this pandemic affects the AirBnB units.
To be honest, as a guy I feel unsafe to walk around that area especially at night

I used to run 2 Airbnb unit at this building back in 2019. Before pandemic happen our occupancy rate hits 80-90% per month. However, we were forced to closed during pandemic...since occupancy rate almost hit 0.

Loved the concept & booked for Southplace 2 initially. Until my uncle let us know about the huge substation & pylons, and let us know how jammed and flooded the roads can be, we immediately retracted our booking 😅
Stayed here before for AirBNB. The place is so far away from public transport (20-30 mins walking) and the lifts took forever...the only thing it is close to is Jalan Alor...

Don't forget about the abandoned construction site which was once a KL lakeside (there was a pool of water before it was drained out completely as what you will see today)!

Yupe. This is not even half of the peak traffic conditions.
I stayed here for a few days during the 1st cmco. There were lots of other airbnb guests and the wait for the lifts took forever. That alone was a turn-off even as a short-term staying guest. I don't know if this happens with other airbnb oriented condos as well, or if they have a better lift system to manage it, such as specifying your designated floor before you actually go inside the lift.

You can easily get the facts from the internet, but I prefer to focus on the internal spaces where it cannot be expressed with mere pictures and text.

Hahahaha this is so true. I stayed in a hotel, well actually it was close to chow kit. It was a 4 star hotel and I see there's a spa and I'm like cool let me pamper myself. Problem was there were no prices. I'm like... Ok so how much does it cost? I ask and they tell me to go into this room and they'll tell me the prices. Eh weird... No lah just tell me the prices. Then he starts talking about girls from this and that country. Noooo thanks... And it was so open. Inside the hotel. Next to the hotel gym. Was definitely not expecting that 🤣

If there going to be airBnB, just ditch the washing machine and put the frig there.
Nice large 1 bdrm - so I could see a young person living there, putting a desk in the extra area in the bdrm.
Well, it's still city centre, a street away from Bukit Bintang after all haha.
