And probably Gene has completely forgotten the encounter but Nubsib kind of imprinted on him or something, LOL. I guess it's possible that it's something darker, that Gene was in fact mean to him when they were younger and Nubsib has nursed revenge plans ever since... but I guess we'll find out!

The criticize this series has so far made me say 'Damn! you have some balls!' The way they have shown so far the homophobia towards female gays. And even though it's a bl drama and they don't want to cast gays for gays roles (! )In the meantime the series is really great, it is not afraid, does not compromise and I really appreciate it!

Damn 4:08 was such an insight on the industry. And a reflection of what we, as an audience, end up demanding too. I haven't read the book or anything either, but I think Nubsib has ulterior motives. Maybe to advance his career or something. I think there is attraction there, but it feels like he is up to something which would cause issues/drama later? Who knows, but I'm excited to find out!

i love that one staff guy wanted a effeminate guy in the show and then a woman said it doesn't sell. honestly, i i agree with the guy. literally in most bl out there we have those "straight" characters who suddenly start liking guys. or we have gay guys who behave like some straight macho alpha. or we have cute looking faces. apart from the fact that it is a bl and most characters are bisexuals, those characters don't behave nothing like a lgbtq person. there's no scene of them showing interest in other men; or a gay group of friends (because, you know, we gays like to reunite); or not even a room that looks like the room of an out of the closet gay kid (you know, with pride flags and lights and photos and the whole gay mess we accumulate lol). and in bl there's NEVER a main character who's effeminate. i only really remember diary of tooties, and it wasn't really focused on romance, but also the title is REALLY offensive. i wish the BL industry, instead of just putting straight looking characters, could remember that lbgtq community is really vast and there's a lot of different people. and i also with that they could stop shaming effeminate gays and butch lesbians.
