Gene seems so starved for attention and physical closeness. I'm glad that Nubsib treats him gentle and handled the situation in a way that didn't make Gene feel awkward. Gene's so inexperienced, and he ended up roleplaying these forceful characters that his editor keeps pestering him to write. Nubsib can hopefully help Gene explore what HE wants. It was a beautiful, complicated scene and I loved it! Both actors gave their A-game!

Absolutely. Korn and Nubsib couldn't be more different from each other. It indicates to me 2 things 1) Kao really invests time to understand the character he is trying to portray and 2) He takes direction very well. He has a humble spirit. Because obviously the directors tell him to act in a certain way as well. He LISTENS. Obedience.

Probably one of the sweetest and romantic scene in the BL series I have seen. I really like how this serie is challenging the "stereotypes" that have been selling us toxic relationships. Here, consent plays a huge role and we shouldn't be praising it cuz Sib was being a gentleman and a decent human being, but bl series have lowered our expectations so this is like.. Huge. Sib likes Gene and wants him so bad. But when he did get the opportunity, Gene even offered, he declined cuz he didn't want to start a relationship where one was drunk. Whatever manipulative things Sib does, this shows that what he feels for Gene is more than just an animalistic hunger? He really does care and love him. That "it's ok to be confused". Be still my beating heart. I'm glad they didn't go with the novel for this bit. This scene is just so pure and full of love and adoration.

This part is personally my most fave. I don't know but I really impressed with the way Up portraying drunk Gene. He really delivered the feels well. There are so many drunk scenes in other series but tbh this one is the only one which captured my heart. I really like the cuteness Gene share while he's drunk. Everything about this part is amazing. Tum calling out the other dude at 2:19. How realistic drunk Gene is. How Sib took such good care of Gene and was careful not to let him do anything he would regret when sober. How Sib valued that consent is the most important thing and drunk people can not give true consent so he refused even though we know he likes Gene. This show is addressing every little thing I have ever disliked about the "usual" bl shows and it is so good to see. This one is probably going to be my new favorite and I'm not even mad about it.
As much as it surprises me that we are so happy for consent in BL dramas, this remains one of my fav scenes from this series. The respect Sib have for Gene just touches my heart. Even though Sib knows that deep down Gene may want something as well (even if he is drunk), but Sib wasn't going to take advantage of that. The love they have for each other makes them one of my top BL couple❤

When Tum scolded their nosy friend, that was a much better, more effective way of including a positive behaviour message into the storyline than the dry repetition of catch phrases, like “love has no gender, blah, blah” that we’ve often seen shoehorned into some other series. This series is really thoughtful and is being really well presented.

okay, but the scene where they were on the floor is so…romantic. like, the way gene rested his forehead on sib’s and even the way sib told him it’s okay to be confused, even though gene wasn’t sure how to explain just what he’s confused about.
Tum couldn’t have said it better 👏 not everyone wants to tell all, coming out takes time, and it’s his choice to come out or not! I understand the frustration some friends may have or even the hurt, but the only thing in these situations to do is wait and be patient or you may even lose a friend.
Probably one of the sweetest and romantic scene in the BL series I have seen. I really like how this serie is challenging the "stereotypes" that have been selling us toxic relationships. Huge applause to the scripter, director and whole crew of the serie. Thank you for doing something that was needed for a long time. Emotional intelligence, sexual education and respect is what the world need more than ever. I hope other series start to follow this example. Bravo.

In many series we see drunken endeavours. Here, consent plays a huge role and we shouldn't be praising it cuz Sib was being a gentleman and a decent human being, but bl series have lowered our expectations so this is like.. Huge.
Sib likes Gene and wants him so bad. But when he did get the opportunity, Gene even offered, he declined cuz he didn't want to start a relationship where one was drunk.
Whatever manipulative things Sib does, this shows that what he feels for Gene is more than just an animalistic hunger? He really does care and love him.

This part is personally my most fave. I don't know but I really impressed with the way Up portraying drunk Gene. He really delivered the feels well. There are so many drunk scenes in other series but tbh this one is the only one which captured my heart. I really like the cuteness Gene share while he's drunk. Not mention the pretty blushed on his cheeks. That's so on point and successfully makes everything cute, plus there's the sweetness from our lover boy- Nubsib which makes all things happened here not so wasted but instead impressive. Well I've rewatch this part only for many times lmao.

Poor Gene, our guy is lonely and confused and feels like he’s all alone. I can remember those feelings. Also, Nubsib here being a true gentleman and not taking advantage of an intoxicated person. What started out as a fluffy BL series is starting to develop some depth and it’s thoroughly enjoyable.
YES! Normalize this as the expected and only acceptable behavior towards someone who is drunk! So happy this series is improving on the novel to make this scene more focused on consent and not taking advantage of Gene's drunkenness and confusion. So here for this!

Lovely writer es lo mejor que me he visto, los besos son normales, dan especial atención al desarrollo de los personajes como persona y problemas de la vida real. Envés de ir por el rating directamente que son las escenas de cama y etc... Supieron como hacer para que todo se viera natural y que atrajera la suficiente atención. Simplemente lo mejor he visto.

This is officially my most favorite bl scene. They didn’t even freaking kiss and I thought it was the greatest. Everything about this part is amazing. Tum calling out the other dude at 2:19. How realistic drunk Gene is. How Sib took such good care of Gene and was careful not to let him do anything he would regret when sober. How Sib valued that consent is the most important thing and drunk people can not give true consent so he refused even though we know he likes Gene.
This show is addressing every little thing I have ever disliked about the "usual" bl shows and it is so good to see. This one is probably going to be my new favorite and I'm not even mad about it.

As much as it surprises me that we are so happy for consent in BL dramas, this remains one of my fav scenes from this series. The respect Sib have for Gene just touches my heart. Even though Sib knows that deep down Gene may want something as well (even if he is drunk), but Sib wasn't going to take advantage of that. The love they have for each other makes them one of my top BL couple❤

Ok...this was one of the best scenes I have seen in a bl...it was so so romantic without being intimate. You can tell Nubsib cares about Gene so much just from his touches and his gaze
When Tum scolded their nosy friend, that was a much better, more effective way of including a positive behaviour message into the storyline than the dry repetition of catch phrases, like “love has no gender, blah, blah” that we’ve often seen shoehorned into some other series. This series is really thoughtful and is being really well presented.
