My absolute favorite game as a child. Played it before I could read.. then revisited it years later for the absolute time of my life! Bring back games like this!

This is truly a nostalgic game for me. With the random floor generation and items, each dive into the dungeons feels new and exciting. As I was watching this, I was like, "why isn't he upgrading his weapons with attachments on?", then I saw the Synthspheres and thought "Oh, maybe he's trying to use the weapons in some way", then at the end....how quickly he evolved it to a strong sword like that floored me by saving up all those spheres. Shame his inventory space didn't help.
i had the first 30 minutes of this from a demo disc when i was 7, came upon this today, 22 years later, I wish I knew better when i was a kid, defenitively playing this on a emulator soon
This game always stuck out to me over the years. Rented it as a kid and had a save on a memory card for years and years and always tried to find what game it was. This has a set on Retro Achievements so definitely going to play it again soon.

Lol the whole game's main story is wacky. However, all the conversations with characters in game is pretty great. I loved this game as a kid, spent hours building the towns just perfectly making sure all the roads connected and made sense 😂
Im not blind by nostalgia, this game combat/movement sucks, not only that but its so much yapping, I only got it because I got lied to, they said it was the zelda of sony haha
Does Zelda have you rebuilding towns? No it doesn't but you know what? In dark cloud weapons can break after too much use and no repairs so maybe BOTW took that from dark cloud!

I've always been fascinated by this game, but never actually owned it. I think I'm actually going to play it now, looks fun!

As soon as you build the shop the mayor stops giving you free items..best to level up significantly before building the shop
