There are "tons" of videos on UA-cam showing dodging and burning in Photoshop. All show effective techniques. However, this video is by far my preferred one, head and shoulder above the other ones in terms of accuracy, brevity, clarity, simplicity, effectiveness and speed.

this is just adding contrast not dodging and burning. Might work in a portrait photo but I'm looking to dodge and burn to specific areas of an image. Any tips?
