I’m lurking your channel and I want to thank you for your content. I decided to buy some tickets on mtgo and build a strong dual commander deck. I really like Azusa or Tamiyo, since I spent a lot of money for this hobby could you suggest me the most consistent? Thanks in advance, if you have any other idea it’s more than welcome.

Just my opinion as a dc player.
Tamiyo has the possibility of getting banned but is technically very strong based on what youre asking (its loss matchup is Yoshimaru (Boros version), Azusa on the other hand is quite strong rn, with the glacial chasm line against aggro (if you can consistently get to it and you don't get messed up by bonecrusher giant and sunsphine lynx) and is quite good against control (can't counter lands trolololol). Also new Eldrazi lands and cards are quite good.
Definitely won't get banned but consistency will most definitely go to Tamiyo just take into note it may or may not get banned.

@@user-ok9rk5ut5i thank you very much for your comment, I think I'm gonna go for Azusa then, scared of getting ban the only deck I can build rn. However, in terms of mastering and outcomes, do you think Azusa could get boring after a while or mastering it could take some time and be a long and fun run?

@@pippobaudo4011 depends what you find to be fun tbh. Singleton is harder to get sick of cause you rarely will have the same game a lot.
But the brief vibe you'll have from Azusa is your combo lines will likely look very similar cause you won't be as interactive with your opponent apart from going glacial chasm or exiling graveyards.
More often than not you'll usually try to rush a Dark Depths Thespian Stage combo or go long and cast Eldrazis.
So if you enjoy your opponent answering what you have over interacting with your opponent then I think you'll have fun.
I'm more on the interactive side these days but I am thinking about pivoting my monogreen deck to azusa since it's been Top 8ing events a lot recently.

@@pippobaudo4011 you can also check mtgtop8 before making a final decision for decklists you might like that are top 8ing events.
Andrea Mengucci also has some gameplay and Duel Commander Ph as well as this channel has also been pumping out matches and guides so you'll have a better scope of the meta/decks before you decide on a deck.

I also agree that Azusa is a nice choice. Tamiyo is very strong, but I'd expect her to not stay for too long.
Playwise, Azusa is quite interesting imo. Games are far away from getting boring soon, it takes a lot of games to truly master the deck!
Buildwise it also has to offer so much - go for it!

Well. Bristly seems to have a fragile gameplan.
I don't think it like interaction.
My friend play Basim and it has potential.
    Maybe a tier 1.5 / 2?

Bristly is - despite all the spikes - quite easy to attack, indeed! That's why I have to pack all the MV1 protection. Consider it more of a fun brew here :)
Basim has potential, but the new Nashi also looks promising!

Proliferating a permanent without a counter is illegal target.

    • @bitzelberg
      @bitzelberg  5 днів тому +2

701.27a To proliferate means to choose any number of permanents and/or players that have a counter, then give each one additional counter of each kind that permanent or player already has.
The permanents should be choosen on resolution of the ability, right? So it would work the way Samuel played it. There was no chance for me to get back UNDER the Winter Orb anyways
