Yep, I TOTALLY AGREE WITH Connie Van Travels.. that's why I want a hard floor so I can add wheels to a little folding stool so I can just roll around inside
A stool that moves around easily keeps me off my knees.
I like my class C and I bought it because I wanted to be away from towns and cities. Yes, I'm limited in where I shop. But I don't mind. I, personally, don't like to go to restaurants (especially alone). I got the RV to get away, to spend time in the beauty of nature and off the beaten path, to be away from other people (most, not all of the time). If I wanted to hang out in towns and cities then, yeah, I would get a stealth van, but one that I could stand up in. This probably wouldn't be hard because I'm short.
Getting out of the van is easy you simply fall out the door the difficult part is getting up off the asphalt. 😂🤣
Your friend could use a Class B camper van (19-21'). Especially one with solar & lithium batteries and wouldn't need to be hooked up at all. Easy to manoeuvre around towns and can park in any regular parking spot. Would give him the height he needs plus modern conveniences.

Oh my! Ever since that one day that I met you, I have been trying to figure out why you sounded so familiar. I religiously listened to you as DJ CHROME! I actually used to pick my music based on music you played. Crazy how small the world is. I met my favorite DJ by moving into a VAN!!!
I have a Ram Promaster 1500, the smallest but I can stand it’s also very wide. While I don’t stealth I’m usually out in the desert or the National forest I do park in cities when I’m traveling cross country, I’ve never had a problem but there are stricter parking rules here in the US.

Great insight on van selection and parking laws. And nice to find out more about you aka DJ career. Definitely you have a radio voice and great personality. You made some great points there about the sizes of vehicles you live in, I would definitely need a high top as I am 60 and my body couldn't take being on my knees crawling around the house. My Astro would be too small for me plus it's not a high top, but for short trips or long trips it would be fine, but for living, I would need a high top. I had a Westie for a long time and wish I still had it, it was great! You could stand up. :) Looks like time to close the doors and turn on the heat :)
I went for a Hi roof Med wheelbase, im 6' and decided i wanted the extra airspace! Love your videos. :)

I lived the nightclub life for many years. Been a bartender most of my adult life. About a year ago I gave it all up for van life as well;) Cheers brother.
