I'm doing "van life" in my car. I can't afford a van yet. I downsized to the point of traveling out of my car.
That's how I started!! Upgraded to a van a month ago, but lived in my car a year!

Hey Cruz, got a tip for ya, don't know why I thought of it just now. I saw you had some Banana's there on the table. Did you know: IF you take some plastic wrap, and wrap it around the top stem the banana will keep much longer. Slowing the browning of the fruit. Just a tip .... Try it it does work!

I am 11 weeks, 4 days, 6 hrs and 23 min from picking up my ride up at Custom Coach Creations up in Deland, FL, I hope maybe sooner (Bob, if you are reading, take the hint:). Still working, so I just didn't have time to do it myself and found the guys at CCC, who are awesome and understood what I wanted. Just watching this video made me happy and wanting to get out on the road. Old hippie starting over again. Can't go 100% at first but taking the first steps. Great people, great video, great inspiration. Hopefully, see some of you folks on the road someday.

How Kool. My mom was born in Moncton NB Canada in 1936. Yes, she and her brothers and sisters still go back to visit every summer. They have a cabin in Pugwash.

Funny enough, I stayed at the Moncton Walmart for a night last year.

Chrome is the reason why I bought my van and got in the van life but I don't travel I work a 40 hour week job and I stay close to work but I still love it screw the rent man.

I love doing #vanlife in my house. It's the perfect size for me, not too small and I love the way my faucets, shower and all necessities are set up. My sunsets are great and my mornings are awesome. The coolest part of vanning in my house is I don't worry about the road conditions or weather. I pretty much stay put except for the occasional earthquake. Using my home as a van has really opened my eyes to what I love about my house. Thank you Chrome!

Yo! I've been watching your videos. I just liked and subscribed and hit the bell RIGHT BEFORE i heard you were in moncton NB a few years back !! IM FROM THERE and live 20 min outside the city now. I just got a high top van and i had no clue we had a van life scene on the east coast. it's a helluva lot colder in the winter here than van city lol.

You wouldn't believe it if I told you. I used corrugated plastic, then put dollar store adhesive cushion tiles. They're meant for bathroom walls. 3 bucks for a square (4 squares per tile).

Loved the 1st van tour, simple and to the point. 2nd tour looks like it has lots of storage space, wow. 3rd tour's bed looks comfy. 4th tour was quick and awesome, LOL. 5th tour was fastest. Van hard and safe to all.

Super bummed I missed this. I was roadtrippin living in my van in the Atlantic Providences of Canada in Oct 2019. Was lucky enough to visit Fundy, Gros Morne, Terra Nova and Cape Brenton NP's while I was there. Would have been cool to see other vanlifers.

Chrome, my new friend, that made me feal very relaxed! I used to live in my 71 VDub bus for 2 or so yrs (over 10 yrs ago) and it was theraputive AF!! I'm in a tough spot now. Had to end bad relationship and am living the Tent Life in my moms back yard (why tentlife n the back yard? long story but it's preferable). I normaly wouldn't do this but I need a place for my dog while i'm at work; walking dogs, gigging or recording/rehearsing and the rent-reale$tate in central CA is crazy. AND my hatchback is dying in hospice right now.
SO... guess what I'm about to do? ;-] It's going to be tricky though because I walk some agressive dogs that i have to protect my little guy from. I have some ideas but a little concerned. It will DEFINITELY have independent, always on AC for the dogs.
And yes I'm hapily influenced by your shared info and your positive attitude!! Keeps me going so thank you!! Safe travels, You & Cruise!
